On April 27, 2022, Mrs. Rasha Bahgat, president of IWC of Minya, and Mrs. Hoda Fathi, the former president, visited the Leprosy Hospital in Minya, to agree and pay a financial advance to manufacture 52 shoes and sandals from special natural leather for leprosy patients, with a total amount of 15,000 pounds.
IWC of Al Tahrir headed by Noha Maatouk participated in the “Heart to Heart” project headed by Dr. Amal El-Sisi, a project concerned with performing heart surgeries for children at Abu El-Rish Hospital . The club contributed with an amount of LE 13,000/- (Egyptian pounds Thirteen Thousand) .
A recognition certificate was granted to IWC of Al Tahrir for participating in this great project.
Moreover, the club donated to “Al Sahwa” Foundation for charitable activities with an amount of LE 11,000/- ( Egyptian Pounds Eleven Thousand) for participating in Iftar and Sohour for about 120 people throughout the month of Ramadan.
On Tuesday, April 27th, 2022 Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, headed by Mrs. Nagwa Kandil, visited Dar Al-Fadl orphanage for girls in the village of Jadila in Dakahlia Governorate. The house contains 27 girls of different ages in all levels of education, and some of them got married in the past years, and the members distributed Eid clothes in the amount of 10,000 Pounds to bring happiness and joy to their hearts, and they also contributed to supplying the house with a number of cartons of food and supplies that the house needed.
On Wednesday, April 20,2022 the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria ElNozha , headed by Mrs. Omayma El Gharbi, donated a prosthetic limb to a man 37 years old, married and has 3 daughters, his wife is a housewife who works as a daily farmer.
Medical history/ amputation under the left elbow due to an accident a year ago. He needs the prosthetic so that people can accept him for any job.

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, Inner Wheel Club of Aexandria , headed by Dr. Amal El-Ghitany, held a celebration for the Hearing Aids Project for the hearing-impaired patients .. 86 hearing aids were distributed to 80 patients, most of whom are elderly .. This was in the One-day Services Center at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, in cooperation with the Alexandria Ear Society .. The celebration was attended by Prof. Dr. Fathi Abdel-Baki and Prof. Dr. Hesham Kozou, representatives of the society ..
The hearing aids were distributed in an atmosphere of happiness to all the attendees.
Followin the path of giving, which has always been led by the founder
of IWC of Nasr City, Mrs Seham Elgohary, during the holy month of Ramadan..Mrs Gehan Michael, president of IWC of Nasr City, along with some other members of the club, decided to set up & share Ramadan meals to be offered in three different places over the course of three days:
1 . “House of Light & Hope for Blind Elderly Women” on April 12, 2022.
2. “Internal section of the Bright Tomorrow”
Association”is one of the club’s sustainable projects on April 13, 2022.
3 . “Dar El-Hoda
for Orphans” on April 18, 2022. The latter was followed by a fun party that spread joy & happiness among the orphaned children.
In line with the international slogan of “Women First” and women’s health in particular, President Fayrouz Badwan together with ladies of the committee visited on Tuesday 12/4/2022 the King Hussein Foundation, in the presence of Ms. Maha Shaheen, district 95 editor, Egypt & Jordan.
The president of the Amman Club donated a cheque for a medical campaign to examine 50 women clinically and to examine the cervix in the laboratory (pap smear)for early detection of cancer, using the clinics of the Family Health Center of the Foundation in the areas of Sweileh and Zarqa.
The women toured the institution’s facilities and heard an explanation of the institution’s services and activities in community service in needy areas.
We hope that this campaign will continue annually and that we will be able to help more women in obtaining a medical examination annually in the less fortunate areas.
With your efforts and support for our club, the bonds of love will last, and we will continue to do good to those in need.
Wednesday 20/4/2022, Mrs. Fairouz Badwan, IW Club of Amman president, accompanied by Mrs. Maha Shaheen, the Editor for D95 Egypt & Jordan , together with a number of the club’s committee members visited the headquarters of Hemtna Association and listened to a summary of the upcoming project to rehabilitate, develop and equip the Princess Basma Comprehensive Health Center, which our Club will support by equipping a clinic in the center bearing the name of our club.
Upon the completion of the project, the Princess Basma Health Center, which is located in the Muhajireen area in Amman, will be ready to provide its medical services at the highest level to a large segment of the region’s population of 75,000, while the number of registered people at the center approaches 22,000.
With your diligence and our determination, we are moving in the right direction to reach the category that needs more support in our country, Jordan.
With Ramadan in his last ten days, where these days are distinguished by their virtue and holiness, the Inner Wheel Club of Philadelphia, presided by Mrs. Nazi Copty Faris took the initiative to provide a variety of foodstuffs to the “Dar Al-Iman” Centre that supports and houses Orphan children and youth deprived of parental care. Some members of the club also donated the house with Suhoor meals from McDonald’s restaurant . Swings and a slide were among the gifts that were donated to the house as well . We always pray to God to make us able to help the needy people and bring joy to the hearts of others.

On Tuesday 19/4/2022 the Inne Wheel Club of Petra headed by Mrs. Lynne Farraj Muasher visited the Mar Mansour Charitable Association, which provides needy families with food, education and medical needs, in addition to providing a home for children and women in need of shelter.
Members of Inner Wheel Petra were welcomed by the president of the association, Mrs. Taroub Kalis, who received the food parcels to be donated to the needy families before Easter Sunday , and thanked the ladies for their generous donation .
