IWC of Nasr City Donation to Syrian & Turkish people

Under the slogan ‘Work Wonder’ and to help to rescue Syrian people in the disaster of the earthquake and the heavy losses that resulted to the Syrian people especially in the bad conditions and the extreme cold, and based on the invitation of Mrs. Nora Fayek, Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan to help in rescuing The Syrian and Turkish people.

The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City donated a cheque to purchase tents and mattresses to help shelter, and 32 cartons of new winter clothes to protect people from the harshness of the cold.

The donations took place on February 20, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Red Crescent

IWC of Nasr City signed the protocol for the Effective Teaching Strategies Program in the Digital Age

Under the slogan “Work Wonder ” and directing attention to the development of the human element in the public education system, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, on January 2, 2022, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, signed the protocol for the Effective Teaching Strategies Program in the Digital Age.

With the National Authority for  Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education  NAQAAE affiliated to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. It included training 30 teachers from primary governmental national schools on Effective Teaching Strategies in the Digital Age, and it includes:

Psychology and learning characteristics in the digital age (know your audience)

Student skills in the twenty-first century

– Multiple intelligences, learning styles and personality styles

Diversifying teaching strategies in the digital age

Classroom management skills

– Ensuring the quality of education in the digital age

Mrs. Hend Mortagi, represented The

IWC of of Nasr City in signing the protocol, while Dr. Youhansen Eid The Chairman of Board Directors of the Authority

represented the National Authority for  Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education NAQAAE in signing the protocol.

The number of beneficiaries of teachers is 30

The number of students beneficiaries is  more than 1000 students annually

IWC of Nasr City visited Home for Blind Elderly Women in Nasr City

the Under the slogan “Work Wonder”

On December 25, 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, visited the Home for Blind Elderly Women in Nasr City, which is affiliated with the Al-Nour and Hope Association.  Subsistence and treatment for 43 elderly and blind women.

The club donated to purchase cameras to keep the home under supervision all the time.

The Club also donated a cheque for the living and medical cost for the inmates.

The club was touched by the dedication of those in charge of the house for the comfort and happiness of the elderly. Meals were also distributed to them and gifts of shawls and tassels to protect them from the cold of winter. They were pleased with the club’s visit to them.

The club thanked those in charge of the house and promised another visit.

IWC of Nasr City held the annual exhibition at the College of Girls, Ain shams University

Under the slogan (Work Wonders), the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, and in the presence of some club members, on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, held the annual exhibition of used and new clothes at the College of Girls, Ain Shams University, Mrs. Dr. Amira Ahmed Youssef, Dean of the College of Girls at Ain Shams University, cut the exhibition opening ribbon and gave a speech about the importance of donating the unwanted garments. “You let your clothes be loved all over again. You might not be getting much use out of that suit or dress, but someone else definitely will – Your clothes will begin a new journey and be part of new memories. Far better than being binned and forgotten. So, share the love – donate and send your clothes on a new adventure”

The exhibition witnessed a turnout of students, and they all loved their new garments.

The club donated the income from the exhibition to pay the expenses of the students who are unable.

At the end of the exhibition, the dean handed the president of the club a certificate of thanks and appreciation for holding the charity exhibition

IWC of Nasr City gave a donation to(Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association)

Under the slogan of this year “Work Wonder”, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, gave a donation to “Asdekaa Alghad Almoshrek” (Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association) in order to purchase and replace equipment’s and tools for the Department of Physical Education for the benefit of 250 students

(Friends of Bright Tomorrow) Association is one of the club sustainable projects

IWC of Nasr City visited the “General Authority for Cleaning & Beautification of Cairo “

On Saturday July 2nd, 2022, with the approach of “Eid El Adha”, IWC of Nasr City headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagui, along with some club members, started the club’s first charitable project for the year 2022 – 2023. They visited, the” General Authority for Cleaning & Beautification of Cairo” in west Nasr City which is one of the club’s sustainable projects. And, in the presence of The Deputy Director of the west sector, IWC of Nasr City president & her colleagues distributed 12000 EGP to 50 workers (sweepers) & their supervisors. It is worth noting that this category of workers is one of the neediest in our society.

Followin the path of giving, which has always been led by the founder
of IWC of Nasr City, Mrs Seham Elgohary, during the holy month of Ramadan..Mrs Gehan Michael, president of IWC of Nasr City, along with some other members of the club, decided to set up & share Ramadan meals to be offered in three different places over the course of three days:
1 . “House of Light & Hope for Blind Elderly Women” on April 12, 2022.

2. “Internal section of the Bright Tomorrow”
Association”is one of the club’s sustainable projects on April 13, 2022.

3 . “Dar El-Hoda

for Orphans” on April 18, 2022. The latter was followed by a fun party that spread joy & happiness among the orphaned children.

 IWC of Nasr City  headed by Mrs. Gehan Michael ,, along with a group of club members visited “The House for the Elderly Blinds”, which is one of the club’s main projects for this year.
The director responsible for this house warmly welcomed her guests, then started to give a briefing about the history of this newly built establishment & its capabilities to cover the needs of blind elderly women health wise, psychologically or even recreational .
Then she took the members for a tour to inspect its different sections & meet with the inmates & carry a conversation with them.
Members of IWC of Nasr City unanimously agreed that this place is an example in terms of cleanliness & excellent psychological & humanitarian care.
The spirit of optimism, the abundant feelings of giving with care & love that characterized all the employees in this building added a deep human dimension to this integrated system to lend a hand to the blind.
The club donated a check of Fifteen thousand pounds to buy a large water heater to provide them with hot water in winter.
Before leaving president of the club planted a tree in the garden of the house under the slogan: “Plant a Tree 🌳 for a Better Planet🌎

CD95, Mrs. Hala Hagrass and her Executive Board Committee members with   members of IWC  of Nasr City headed by Mrs. Jehan Michael, visited the “Bright Tomorrow Foundation”, which includes a group of different ages with special needs to provide support.
The material and moral of this place, which is one of the basic and sustainable projects of the club is supervised by the member of the club, Mrs. Shahinaz Hafez.
Everyone visited all sections, including the psychological, technical, therapeutic and recreational section, and the aim is to try to integrate this group into society and make them feel that they are part of it.
IWC of Nasr City members donated a large gifts and join the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the foundation in the midst of this atmosphere full of hope, love and radiance.

With a tender human touch emanating from hearts that feel the suffering of a group of helpless workers , P. Mrs. Gihan Michael with  VP Mrs. Hind Mortagy  and  PP Mrs. Hana Bleik representing all of the club members met the workers of the Beautification and Environmental Hygiene Authority of Nasr City and  donate with  some money to each one of them on the occasion of the Prophet Mohamed celebration  day.   The workers expressed their great happiness and much gratitude for their feeling that there are those who feel their suffering and extend a helping hand to them.
