Annual Celebration & Advocacy for Hearing-Impaired Individuals

Donation: 10,000 Dinars | Beneficiaries: 125,000 People

The Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia hosted a heartwarming Iftar
at Levante Restaurant on Monday, March 17, 2025. Chaired by Club
President Maha Shaban, the gathering was a celebration of generosity,
compassion, and unity. The event coincided with the upcoming Mother’s
Day and the fasting period of Christian sisters, making it a truly
special and blessed occasion.

A Night of Giving & Impact:

The evening commenced with a heartfelt welcome speech by Mrs. Maha
Shaban, who expressed deep gratitude for the generous donations and
unwavering support for the club’s humanitarian initiatives. She
highlighted the club’s annual advocacy project, which contributed
10,000 dinars towards the establishment and equipment of a hearing
screening room for children and adults in Hittin Camp/Shneller,
benefiting over 125,000 people.

A Celebration of Community & Generosity:

The event was filled with warmth and joy, featuring the distribution of
gifts and admission tickets, adding to the festive spirit. Guests
enjoyed a delightful spread of traditional Ramadan cuisine, fostering a
sense of togetherness and appreciation.

In her concluding remarks, Mrs. Maha Shaban extended heartfelt thanks to
all attendees for their support and generosity, which played a vital
role in the success of the event and the club’s charitable
initiatives.

District 95 Egypt and Jordan Chairman Mrs

On Sunday, 10/27/2024, under the theme ‘ Heartbeat of Humanity’, IWC of Philadelphia, headed by Mrs. Maha Shaaban, in the presence of the District 95 Egypt and Jordan Chairman Mrs. Abeer Al-Dajani and some club members visited the Hussein Foundation for Social Development . Baby milk and sweets were provided to the children of the foundation. It includes a section for newborns, a section for buds, and a section for people with special needs, with a total of about 140 children. There are also family homes that include 76 children. The colleagues toured the foundation to learn about the services provided there, and they were pleased with the love, care, and cleanliness they found, wishing this foundation continued progress and success.

Donating School Bag to the underprivileged

On August 19 ,at the beginning of the school year, and in support of
education,President Maha SHA’BAN of IWC of Amman Philadelphia with
some of her committee members distributed school bags with stationary
and sweets to four schools from KG to Grade 9 in the underprivileged
area of Um Al Rasas , south of Amman with the help of the charitable
foundation team located in that area “We make the difference “.

IW Of Amman Philadelphia Club – Breakfast donation event

IW Of Amman Philadelphia Club.
“Lord of peace: grant our hearts and our country peace.” On the occasion of Palm Sunday and Easter, and headed by Mrs. Hanan Ghawi, the ladies of the Inner Wheel Philadelphia Club met at Jordan River Foundation Restaurant for a delicious breakfast that brought them together with friends from Inner Wheel Amman and Petra Clubs with their friends.

The club was honored by the participation of Mrs Jumana Al-Masri Mutawe’, “Member of the Board of Directors of International Inner Wheel ,” Mrs Rula Hawi Farraj, “Vice President of District 95 ,” and Mrs Nuha Asfour, “President of Amman Inner Wheel Club.” The ladies donated the price of coupons to purchase food for less fortunate families on the occasion of the glorious holidays. The value of each coupon is 25 dinars.

The gathering was characterized by an atmosphere of love, friendship and joy, which we always shine a light on. All appreciation goes to the committee members who are always cooperative.

IWC of Amman Philadelphia delivered final donation to Gaza Camp

The Inner Wheel Club of  Amman Philadelphia, presided by Mrs Duha Bushnaq Abdulhadi, made a donation of a sum of money, on June 21st, to buy vitamins and nutritional fluids to the children who undergo physiotherapy at the Medical Center-which is a part of Gaza Jerash Camp-as it was found that those children suffer from malnutrition.
With this final donation to Gaza Camp we have completed the club project for this year.

IWC of Amman Philadelphia completed the project at Gaza Camp at Jerash

On Monday June 5th, the last stage of the project of IWC of Amman Philadelphia was completed.
A number of the club executive and general members presided by Mrs Duha Abdulhadi and in the presence of the Vice Chairman of D95 Mrs Abeer Al Dajani, paid a visit to the project at Gaza Camp at Jerash.
The ladies were welcomed by Mrs Maha Saqqa , the head of the Camp and Dr Bassem Safareeni who in his turn gave an explanation about the importance of the DC Shock device in the emergency room and its importance in saving the lives of the patients.
Then the ladies were taken on a tour around the camp to see the club achievements which was of two stages.
The first stage was to equip the sanitary facilities such as bathrooms and washbasins to suit the movement of the patients of special needs.
The second stage was a physical rehabilitation room for the children who undergo surgery and need to continue their post operative treatment under the supervision of a full-time nurse in response to the large number of visitors from the Camp.
Also a cold iron device was provided to the department of Dermatology, a hearing test device to the ENT clinic along with the DC Shock and the monitor in the emergency room.
Mrs Maha Saqqa expressed her appreciation in a very powerful and expressive words for the importance of such a donation to the Camp.

IWC of Amman Philadelphia visited the Charitable Association for the Moonlight and handed them medical equipment.

Coinciding with the seventy-seven years Independence Day. IWC of Amman Philadelphia presided by  Mrs Duha Bushnaq Abdulhadi visited The Charitable Association for the orphans ‘The Moonlight’ and handed them medical equipment to establish a clinic to serve the residents of the area and generate for them income that help the orphan children in need in cooperation with Abdulhadi General Hospital.
We promised those responsible for the association our commitment to provide them with the rest of the necessary needs.
How happy the children were in singing and celebrating Independence Day. Some of the female students recited poetry that was filled with love and loyalty.
The joyful visit ended with providing breakfast meals to the students.

IWC of Amman Philadelphia paid a visit to the ORIENT SPIRIT DEVELOPMENT Centre for the special needs .

It is not only us that make miracles, there are also high-spirited people who draw a smile on the faces of those with special needs mentally and physically and give them their right to engage in the society through training them on craft work that secure them a stable income.
For this reason, Inner Wheel  club of Amman Philadelphia presided by Mrs Duha Bushnaq Andulhadi and some members of the executive committee paid a visit on May 23rd to the ORIENT SPIRIT DEVELOPMENT Centre for the special needs which caters for 40 male and female students and donated five (5) sewing machines.

IWC of Philadelphia completing the third phase, a monitor for the emergency room, in the Gaza Camp Project.

Inner Wheel Club of Philadelphia headed by Mrs. Duha Bushnaq Abdel-Hadi, met on Monday May 8,2023 at Beit Shaker Restaurant, in the presence of Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Vice Chairman of District 95.

Mrs. Duha talked about the club’s project for this year in the Gaza Camp, where the club is in the process of completing the third phase which is a monitor for the emergency room to measure pulse, temperature and blood pressure.

One of the women who participated in the event donated a percentage of her work income for the benefit of the Gaza Camp project. The President thanked her for this beautiful gesture.

IWC of Amman Philadelphia made a donation to the camp residents of Ghor Haditheh.

A donation has been made today in the midst of Ramadan month, on April 5th, 2023, by some of the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia.
The number of 42 vouchers were given to the camp residents of Ghor Haditheh.
