Inner Wheel Club D95

On September 30th, the Six Alexandria Inner Wheel Clubs ( Alexandria, East, Nozha, Sporting, Mediterranean and Capital ) with Damanhour IW club worked on achieving the goal of the Awarness Seminar under the Slogan (Save the Earth)

The Seminar started at 1:30pm ،by the Egyptian & Jordanian National Anthems. Then a recorded welcome speech of the IIW President Mrs Trish Douglas was displayed. Mrs. Viola Ramsis vice chairman and organizer of Seminar welcomed the audience and simplified the program .

It was now Mrs Mona Aboelfetouh district 95 speech, followed by the Under Secretary of Ministry of Environment Mr. Sameh Riad. Then the Speakers started:

• Prof. Mona Gamal El Dine Dean of School of Energy and Environmental Engineering Egypt-Japan University Tackling Climate Changes: Toward green environment
• Prof.Essam Wahba Vice dean For Graduate Studies and Research Faculty of Engineering University of Alexandria Renewable energy and Climate Changes
• Prof.Boshra Salem Department of environmental Sciences Faculty of Science Alexandria University Sustainability Transformation
• Dr.Bakr Gomaa Assistant Dean of Education Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport Greening Cities
• Dr. Shaimaa El Gobashi assistant Professor of Architecture and environmental design at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Marine transport Interior Design Inspired by surrounding environment to limit climate Change crisis.

Pinning of 3 new members to IWC of Mediterranean took place.

Finally lunch was served.

On Friday, August 25, 2023, the Innerwheel Club of Alexandria

Mediterranean, with the help of club founder Dr. Viola Ramses, & Dr. Eman Shafshak

organised a charity bazaar for cancer patients at the Automobile Club in Alexandria.

The bazaar was sponsored by

1. Mabaret Al Asafra Hospitals
2. Dalia Derma Clinic Centre, Dr.Dalia Hassanein

3. Wam Medical Centre, Dr. Wafaa Mahlabeh.

   

On Saturday, December 24, 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean held the annual charity exhibition under the auspices of Elite Specialized Medical Centers, Mabaret Al-Asafra and U Can Medical Center.

‏The products varied from clothes, furniture, various baked products, accessories… etc

The income of the exhibition has been allocated to establishing sustainable club project

On Wednesday  April 7, 2021, and in an atmosphere full of pride and honor, Mrs. Mona Aref, Chairman of District 95, Egypt and Jordan, met at Sea Side Restaurant with Inner Wheel  Clubs of Alexandria El Nozha & its President Iman EL Deeb  , Alexandria Sporting & its President Dina El Hadary  and Alexandria Mediterranean & its President Mervat Ramsis  in the presence of Enaya Sharara the extension Chairman . Each president presented the great achievements that she presented in a very difficult year, on top of which is the convoy of ophthalmology, in which the five Alexandrian clubs participated where 70 operations were done.  The work of a full operations room under the supervision of the Chairman of D95 Egypt & Jordan to investigate her generous initiative “The light is in the hearts” and each of them presented a number of sustainable projects other than this year’s projects that came completely outside the fund, and some of them were praised by the international president, such as the project to provide job opportunities for youth  facilitating their living conditions, and caring for and establishing villages, in addition to water connections to khorshid.

And the work of the artificial limbs project which has already come out is a major life-changing project.

Also supporting a number of hospitals such as Ayadi El Mostakbal Oncology center ,Magdy Yaqoob Heart Hospital, sponsoring students ’expenses in schools, and the work of the student exhibition at Alexandria University.

Positive participation in all initiatives plant a tree of peace,

rapid movement in the relief project for Lebanon, which was also appreciated by the International Inner Wheel.

Donation to 57357 Hospital Participation and the Long Live Egypt Project for a Warm Winter.

Mona Aref praised in her speech on this unprecedented activity and these important projects. Despite the Corona pandemic, the support has not stopped everywhere, and these clubs were able to light candles of hope in the most needy places in Alexandria.

Mrs. Viola Ramses founder of Alexandria Mediterranean was honored due to her dedication and efforts over the years.

The  meeting ended in an atmosphere of joy and happiness.

 

On Tuesday, the 22nd of September, in a friendly atmosphere, the members of Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean held the handover ceremony for the year 2020-2021, after more than 7 months not seeing each other due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The club members presented a symbolic gift to Mrs. Amal Saad, the past President of the club, in recognition of her efforts and activities throughout the past year. They welcomed the next president, Dr. Mervat Ramsis, wishing her a year full of success and achievements.
