IW Of Al Tahrir Club.
Under the slogan “Shine a Light,” Mrs. Fatma Barrada, President of Al Tahrir IWC visited Dar Al-Iman, a facility providing care for children with disabilities in the Fifth Settlement area. The club donated 10,000 EGP, marking its second donation of the year, following a previous donation of the same amount to Dar Al- Iman.
On April 7th, Al Tahrir, IW Club led by President Fatima Barrada along
with members PP Gehan Halawa, PP Sahar Gadallah, and PP Souad El-Gritly,
visited the Cancer Hospital 57357. They generously donated fifteen
thousand Egyptian Pounds (LE 15,000) for patient treatment and
brightened the day of sick children by distributing gifts, bringing joy
to their hearts.
On December 23/2023 Al Tahrir IWC joined forces with fellow Inner Wheel
clubs to partake in a seminar focused on providing clean water to
villages in Upper Egypt. This initiative was conducted in collaboration
with the “Al Orman Association.” Subsequently, a cheque dated January 8,
2024, totaling sixty-one thousand Egyptian Pounds (LE 61,000), was
presented for this noble cause.
As part of the club’s sustainable projects , President Fatma Barrada
organized a charitable exhibition at Gezira Sporting Club on October 21
and 22, 2023. District 95 chairman Mrs Mona Aboul Fetouh, graced the
event. The exhibition generated revenue amounting to forty thousand
Egyptian Pounds (LE 40,000), which was donated to “The Island of
Goodness” to aid the workers of Gezira Sporting Club.
On January 7, 2024, Al Tahrir IW club made a donation of five thousand
Egyptian Pounds (LE 5,000) to the “Friends of Shining Tomorrow
Association” to assist in procuring a baler for recycling waste paper.
On Jan. 13, 2024
Al Tahrir IW club donated an amount of LE 5000/- (Egyptian Pounds five
thousand only) to “Hope Village” to support street children.
On January 7, 2024, Al Tahrir IW club donated 10,000 EGP to the leprosy
camp in Khanka to purchase medical supplies for patients.
On January 28, 2024, the club donated an amount of 62,000 EGP to make
prosthetic limbs for seven people with special needs.
As part of our sustainable initiatives, Al Tahrir club supports the
Dialysis Center in Aghour El Kubra.
On February 14, 2024, a donation of 5,000 EGP was contributed to the
Egyptian Village Development Association to aid dialysis patients.
On March 6/2024, Al Tahrir IWC donated 49,000 EGP to Abu Al-Rish
Japanese Hospital to perform a heart surgery on an 8-year-old child.
