On Monday, March 10, 2025,
Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
And on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Inner Wheel Club
of Alexandria, headed by Mrs. Mona El Hakim distributed 53 coupons, each
worth 300 EGP.

34 coupons were distributed to the “Absher Association for Special
Needs” to support families of people with special needs.

19 coupons were also distributed to the “Zamzam Flowers of Life
Association for Orphans.”

“Supporting Underprivileged: Clean Water Initiative “

On Saturday, January 19, 2025,
The IWC of Alexandria headed by Mrs. Mona El Hakim visited the
Alexandria Drinking Water Company to deliver a check for the amount of
60,000 LE as a donation to install 12 water connections for the neediest
families in the Amiriya area of ​​Alexandria
Hoping that we have contributed to providing a safe and healthy life for
the people of the area and their families.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024
Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, IWC of Alexandria, led by Mrs.
Mona El Hakim and accompanied by Dr. Mervat El Azzouni, Vice Chairman of
District 95, paid a heartfelt visit to the Pediatric Oncology Center at
Borg El Arab University Hospital. The delegation was warmly welcomed by
the hospital’s director, Dr. Sherif El Zawawy.

Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, the
club generously donated 220,000 L.E. to support the purchasing of
life-saving chemotherapy treatments for children battling cancer,
particularly those unable to afford such critical care.

The visit also included a guided tour of the hospital’s newly
established radiotherapy department, reflecting the institution’s
dedication to advancing cancer treatment and care.

On Wednesday 11th of December 2024
Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”
The IWC of Alexandria members headed by Mrs. Mona El Hakim, and in the
presence of the Vice Chairman Dr. Mervat El Azzouni visited the Friends
of Medical Students Association to help cover the expenses of 16
students in the final year at Alexandria Faculty of Medicine.

On Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, members of Alexandria IWC led by Mrs.Shahira Maher, visited the Faculty of Education at Alexandria University. They were welcomed by the Dean, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Farag. The IWC of Alexandria donated 36,300 pounds to cover the expenses of outstanding final-year students, enabling them to graduate and enter the job market. The university expressed their profound thanks and gratitude for this initiative.

On Monday, May 20, 2024, members of the IWC of Alexandria, led by Mrs. Shahira Maher, visited the Neurology Department of Nariman Hospital. They were welcomed by the head of the department, Dr. Ismail Ramadan. During the visit, the club donated stroke injections valued at 85,000 pounds, which are difficult to obtain. The injections were handed over to Dr. Ramadan and the hospital’s pharmacy staff.

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, in anticipation of Eid Al-Adha, Alexandria, IWC led by Mrs. Shahira Maher, visited the Intellectual Rehabilitation Boarding School in Seyouf. They distributed 40 coupons worth 16,000 LE to the workers and the children’s families.

Following this, the president and club members visited the Zamzam Home for Orphans with Special Needs. They provided cleaning supplies, washing powders, disinfectants, air fresheners, shampoo, shower gel, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for the children. Additionally, the club distributed toys and delivered 10 coupons worth 4,000 LE. Eid Al-Adha Mubarak.

On April 15, 2024, the IWC of Alexandria, under the leadership of Mrs.
Shahira Maher, contributed 20,000 EGP to the Baheya Foundation for Early
Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer. This donation will aid in
equipping the PCR room, in collaboration with other IW clubs from
District 95 Egypt & Jordan. Our hope is that through this donation, we
can play a part in treating a breast cancer patient, bringing safety and
joy to an entire family.

On January 27th, 2024, the members of the IWC of Alexandria, led by Mrs. Shahira Maher, visited the Pediatric Oncology Center at Borg El Arab University Hospital. They donated a check of 140,000 LE to the hospital manager, Dr. Shady Fadel, for children’s medications, in line with this year’s theme “Shine a Light.”
