Nurturing Orphans project.

Under the theme , “Heartbeat of Humanity,” Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Cleopatra, led by Mrs Soheir Fahmy and Honorary Secretary
Doaa Hamdy, conducted a humanitarian gesture on Saturday, December 14.
The club members visited Safia Gemei Orphanage in Alexandria,
They were warmly welcomed by Ms. Engy Fouad Naser el din the Chairman of
the orphanage’s board of directors, along with other board members and
Mrs Mervat Mahmoud, the orphanage manager.The club provided an
entertaining music show for the children and celebrated their birthdays.
Gifts were distributed to each child to bring joy and happiness to their
hearts.
It was a beautiful day that brought immense joy to us,
This initiative is one of the club’s sustainable projects, and we are
committed to following up on this in the future to support the community
and care for the less fortunate.

Elimination of Violence against Women Awareness Seminar .

Under the theme “ Heartbeat of Humanity,” Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Cleopatra, led by Soheir Fahmy and Honorary Secretary Doaa
Hamdy, organized a seminar on “Violence Against Women,” in occasion
of orange the workd 16-day’s .The seminar was delivered by Dr. Magda
El-Shazly, Head of the National Council for Women in Alexandria. The
number of the attendees was significant with an active interaction, with
Dr. Magda who answered all the questions and inquiries from the
attendees.

The seminar was honoured by the presence of Dr. Mervat Al-Azouni,
District 95 (Egypt and Jordan) Vice Chairman; Dr. Viola Ramsis, founder
of Inner Wheel Club of Cleopatra ; Dr. Susan Mounir, President of the
Sary Foundation, a group of Alexandria’s Inner Wheel Clubs’ presidents
and members, also prominent women from Alexandria’s society.
It was a productive and insightful seminar.

On Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, under the theme of ” the Heartbeat of
humanity ” Alexandria Cleopatra Club headed by Soheir Fahmy and honorary
secretary Doaa Hamdy, paid the tuition fees for students faculty of
Engineering (Alexandria University).
Where Professor Dr. Essam mostafa wahba, the acting Dean, and professor,
Dr Mohamed refaii received and thanked the club for the initiative help
and support.

Many thanks to Doaa Hamdy , Maha Halbouny , Mounira Esway , and all club
members who contributed to the completion of this work. May God accept
good deeds.

IW Clubs of Alexandria.
International Tourism Day/Peace Day.

On Saturday, 28th September 2024, under the theme “Heartbeat of
Humanity”, The IW Clubs of Alexandria (Alexandria, East, El Nozha,
Sporting, Mediterranean and Capital) in collaboration with the “Ministry
of Tourism” and the “Yacht Club of Egypt”, celebrated the International
Day of Peace & Day of Tourism at the Yacht Club of Egypt. This reflects
on the profound connection between tourism and peace.

The celebration started by planting an olive tree “Wish Tree” and
included a mural for peace and tourism painted by Kemet Institution’s
youth and art exhibition by “Sohbet Fann” group. The art exhibition for
peace provided children and youth with a temporary escape from
destructive conflict and simultaneously provides them with an outlet for
their emotions, opinions, and hopes for the future.

The celebration also included Indian folklore dance by “Mawlana” centre,
Egyptian Pharaonic dance by “Tafanin Academy” and a bazaar for
traditional pharaonic, Indian and Russian handicrafts.

Finally, a seminar for peace and tourism was held where the following
topics were covered “Peace building” and “The role of art in promoting
tourism and peace.” The speakers in this seminar included: Prof. Mervat
El Azzouni – Vice Chairman of District 95, Mrs. Mona El Hakim –
President of Peace Committee Rotary Egypt/President of IWC Alexandria,
Mr. Mario De Pascoaly – Honorary Consul of Italy, Mr. Arsini M. –
Director of the Russian Cultural House & Deputy Consul General of
Russia, Ms. Farrah El Dibany, super soprano, and Eng. Hassan Wasfy –
Syndicate of Fine Arts.

The celebration was attended by Dr. Amel El Ghitany- District 95
Webmaster, the IWC’s of Alexandria Presidents, Mrs. Magda Sallam (IWC
Alex East), Mrs. Heba el Kady (IWC Alex ElNozha), Mrs. Amany Selim (IWC
Alex Sporting), Mrs. Heba Aboul Nasr (IWC Alex Mediterranean), Mrs.
Nevine Abd El Rasoul (IWC Alex Capital), Mrs. Soheir Fahmy (IWC Alex
Cleopatra) and Mrs. Zahra EL Lakany (IWC Damanhour).

Under the theme of the year”Heartbeat of Humanity” and  in line with one
of the international goals for this year,
(Cervical cancer  prevention), Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Cleopatra
, headed by Soheir Fahmy and honorary secretary Doaa Hamdy ,   donated a
good sum of money  to “Ayady El Mostaqble” hospital for early detection
and prevention of cancer cervix through cervical smears and treatment
for women with cervical cancer. We  hopefully aim to accomplish  many
more projects to  serve our community.

Alexandria Cleopatra

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, under the slogan “Shine a Light,”Alexandria Cleopatra IW Club, led by Soheir Fahmy and honorary secretary Doaa Hamdy, donated 42,000 EGP to the Borg El Arab University Hospital’s Oncology Centre at Alexandria University. This donation will fund surgery for a child suffering from cancer. Dr. Youssef El Hamami sent a letter of thanks to members.

IW Of Alexandria Cleopatra Club .

On Saturday, June 15, 2024, in observance of the Day of Arafat and under the slogan “Shine a Light,” the Alexandria Cleopatra IW Club distributed 250 meals, amounting to a total of 18,750 EGP, in celebration of the blessed Eid Al-Adha. May God accept our good deeds.

Alexandria Mediterranean @ Cleopatra IW Clubs
In a loving and affectionate atmosphere, Alexandria Mediterranean Club
and Alexandria Cleopatra Club, along with Dr. Viola Ramsis, the Vice
President of District 95 came together on April 1, 2024, at the Sporting
Club in Alexandria to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan. The
gathering was filled with a sense of unity and warmth amongst the
members. Wishing all goodness and blessings from God

IW Of Alexandria Cleopatra Club.
On the 10th of December 2023 and under Shine the Light slogan, the
Innerwheel Alexandria Cleopatra Club made a generous donation of 9700
EGP for 55 forms dor the preparatory certificate in Alexandria schools.
Noting that the club is headed by Soheir Fahmy and honorary secretary
Doaa Hamdy.

IW Of Alexandria Cleopatra Club.
On the 20th of December 2023 and under the slogan of Shine the light ,
the Innerwheel Alexandria Cleopatra aimed in helping our people in Gaza.
The club donated 33 blankets to the Red Crescent as a form of support
and giving a hand of help to Gaza and it’s people.
