Innerwheel Club of Sphinx planted lemon and tangerine trees at the Muslim Ladies Association in Abdeen

In line with the national Mega project of District 95/Egypt and Jordan, about the environment, and afforestation, the Innerwheel Club of Sphinx,

headed by President Mrs. Soha Salem and in the presence of some of the club members, planted lemon and tangerine trees @ the Muslim Ladies Association in Abdeen.

IWC of Sphinx made a donation to Abu Al Rish Hospital

Sunday April 2,2023, Under the slogan of the year “Work Wonders “, the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, made a donation to Abu Al-Rish Children’s Hospital, the donation is allocated for  Paediatric  Ophthalmology Department and for the emergency department.

Monday, April 3, 2023, Mrs. Hanan Azmy, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx , attended the iftar held by the Muslim Ladies Association, which is headed by our dear colleague, Mrs. Nahed Essa. The Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx made a donation  to the association to break someone’s fast.

IWC of Sphinx Held a Clothing Charity Bazaar at the Faculty of Music Foundation

The Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, held the second charity clothing Bazar for this year On Sunday , 12 march 2023 at the Faculty of Music Education in Zamalek for the benefit of students who are unable to pay tuition fees.  The donation amount is 10,000 pounds .  All thanks to those who contributed in the success of the Bazar

I am delighted and proud to announce that Dr. Zeinab Taki from IW Club of Cairo West and Mrs Hanaa El Sadat from IW Club of Sphinx have been awarded the Margarette Golding Award this year 2021/2022 for their outstanding charitable work outside the Inner Wheel. Both members deserve to be recognised and awarded for their achievements.
Two candidates have been nominated for this prestigious award this year on the occasion of our District celebration of its Golden Jubilee.
Congratulations Zeinab and Hanaa for a very well deserved recognition.

*What is the Margarette Golding Award*
Margarette Golding Award
It was decided at the eleventh convention in May 2000, in Stockholm ( Sweden) that an award be created in the name of Margarette Golding for highly commendable personal service in the community.
The award has been available since September 2001 and over 200 people have now received a Margarette Golding Award (MGA).
CRITERIA
The successful Margarette Golding Award recipients have generally been involved with a variety of charities or organisations for a very long time, often involving a great deal of commitment on a very regular basis. This work must be completely unconnected with Inner Wheel membership, Inner Wheel or Rotary fundraising activities. Alternatively or in addition they must have made great personal sacrifices for the benefit of others. The awards are given to Inner Wheel members as well as members of the general public. *The criteria for success are set high so that the award remains a truly significant marker of an individual’s commitment to others.

Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx , headed by Mrs. Amani Ezzat, participated as one of the official sponsors in the opening ceremony of the Butterflies Challenge exhibition, represented and organized by colleague Mrs. Hanaa El-Sadat, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yasmine Al-Samra Charitable Foundation – Debra Egypt.
It is considered the first art exhibition for patients with Epidermolysis Bullosa in Egypt and worldwide.
The Art Exhibition and opening ceremony was at the Russian House in Cairo.
The ceremony was attended by the Russian cultural manager, a group of journalists, and the guest of honor was the International Soprano Singer Mrs. Amira Salem.
The paintings and crafting products of the EB children were displayed.
Mrs. Hanaa El-Sadat presented the role of Yasmine El-Samra Foundation in helping children suffering from this disease and giving awareness for their families.
It was a meeting filled with warmth and affection.
Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx donated 10,000 Egyptian pounds to the foundation.
Our wishes always with more success and hope for a CURE to EB patients.

Inner Wheel binds up people with friendship and service and as an ISO, I am so delighted that i have got the opportunity to make friends with hundreds of most energetic and supportive people within Inner Wheel.
Getting to know, exchange club pennants and discussing of club activities, etc… virtually with this lovely, lively, energetic and friendly Hanaa Elsadat / Webmaster of D95 of Egypt and Jordan and member of IWC of Sphinx  was such a great moment for me.
On behalf of IWC of Ja ela Kandana my wishes go out to Hanaa and her club for an eventful IW year of 2021/22.

CD95 visit to IWC of Sphinx, news,2022

The visit of Chairman of D95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Hala Hagrass, and her Board Committee, on Sunday, January 23rd, 2022 at Hilton Zamalek at 5 pm with members of the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Amani Ezzat, and in the presence of the members of the Board Committee of D95, Egypt and Jordan:
Ms. Mona Aboul Fotouh, Honorary Secretary,
Ms. Omaima Ezzat, Treasurer
Ms. Reem Nazih, the international Service Organiser in the presence of a number of club members.
Mrs. Amani Ezzat presented the club’s sustainable and new activities and projects for this year, including:
1.Treatment of pediatric eye conditions at Abu Al-Rish Hospital
2. Treatment of two cases at Baheya Foundation, a participant in the initiative of the District Chairman Mrs Hagrass for Baheya Foundation for Breast Cancer Treatment.
3 Contribute in the cost of water connections in the poorest villages.
4. Donating to the needs of a bride at the Muslim Women’s Association.
Ms. Hanan Azmy, treasurer of the club, also presented the amounts of donations for the projects of the year.
Mrs. Hala Hagrass praised the club’s effort and the spirit prevailing among the club’s members, and exchanged symbolic gifts with the club’s president.
It was an enjoyable meeting in an atmosphere of cordiality and friendship.

Mr ISSAM Youssif Seminar

Inner Wheel cub of Sphinx presided by Mrs Abir Izzat in cooperation with the president InnerWheel club of Giza ,Mrs Fatma Fayed ,and president of InnerWheel club of Gezira Mrs Buthaina Madkour and their three club members and friends hosted at Al Safir hotel,Cairo on September 29 , the famous author and script writer Mr ISSAM Youssif,the creator and announcer of the famous program “The Geniuses “
The program ranked #1 in the Arab World highlighting the success stories ,good relationships and positive competition among college and high school students .This program is considered a complete encyclopedia in science and general knowledge.
It was a very rich and informative gathering .
