IWC of Amman Philadelphia headed by Mrs. Nazi Qopti Fares and some IW members celebrated the International Inner Wheel Day, which was on January 10th, 2022.
The celebration began with cutting the cake and taking pictures while listening to the IW song.
This was followed by a speech by P. Nazi and Mrs. Mona Sweiss, past IIW Executive Board member, in which they discussed the history of the first IWC founded in Manchester in 1924 by Margaret Golding.
Mrs. Nazi also referred to the establishment of our club in 1987/1988 and spoke about the first club project, which was the dental clinic with Hemetna initiative, and the second project, which is under study, about helping battered women who should be independent and to be able to live in dignity.
The atmosphere of the meeting was festive and positive, which the members enjoyed.
We wish all IWCs of D95 EGYPT and JORDAN and IWCs worldwide all the best in their volunteers work they do for needed people.

Mrs. Nazi Copty Faris, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia , delivered  woolen blankets with bags of chocolate to three representatives of charities.
The first association represented by Father Shawki Batrian, director of the Our Lady of Peace Center for people with special needs and disabilities, which provides its services such as physical therapy and teaching children aged 6-14 free of charge.
The second association is SOS Children’s Villages, which takes care of orphaned children by providing family, educational and rehabilitation care to integrate them into the community, represented by Mr. Siraj Al-Hamoud.
 The Third  is Dar Al- Salam Center on Gardens Street,  which Mrs. Wedad El-Far, one of the club’s members, also received her collection of wool blankets and chocolates, representing the Love Committee, which in turn will donate these blankets to them
Mrs. Nazi and a number of members of her administrative board thanked Mrs. Muna Sewais who welcomed us in her house .

President of Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia Mrs Nazi Copty and her accompanying delegation of club members visited Cairo to participate in the  meeting of the Executive Board Committee of District 95 Egypt and Jordan(the meeting of delegates).
Mrs. Nazi pointed to the importance of this meeting and there were questions and answers that clarified a number of issues that required some clarification.
The club’s delegation participated in D95 Golden Jubilee celebration, the 50th anniversary of its Founding.
The President, Mrs. Nazi, would also like to thank NR Mrs Iman El-Bashari, the and DC Mrs Hala Hagrass, and everyone who participated in organizing and arranging this visit and for the hospitality and reception that accompanied it.
We hope that the bonds of friendship and affection will continue between everyone, looking forward for the visit of the Egyptian delegation in their second home Jordan .

IWCs of D95 Egypt & Jordan Delegate Meeting, News , 2021

A delegation from Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by the club president Mrs. Lynne Farradj Muasher along with club delegates and members attended the  meeting for District 95 Egypt & Jordan in Cairo on Saturday the 4th of December.
The club members were proud of the announcement of choosing IW Petra member and Past District Chairman Mrs. Suzan Kilani Tayeh as The National Representative of D95 for the coming year 2022/2023
This visit coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of D95.
The 31 IW clubs celebrated the Golden Jubilee with joy at The Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel.
A curtesy visit was made to pay our condolences to D95 Chairman Mrs. Hala Hagrass on the passing away of her mother.
We ended our trip by a visit to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the Royal Mummies were put to rest.

D95 Executive Committee and all members who participated in arranging this memorable visit.

Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia At “Move to Connect” Symposium in Rotterdam, Netherlands

Our Colleagues from The Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia, Mrs. Muna Sweiss (Past International Inner Wheel Board Director) and Mrs Hala Akkad (Past District 95 Chairman and national representative) attended a Symposium in Rotterdam, Netherlands entitled “Move to Connect” which is the first European Rally of 2019.
Times are changing! In the process of changing and adapting, Inner Wheel Rotterdam had to share their experience and knowledge with one another. This required a cohesive collaboration between all European members and friends. The goal of the symposium was to create a valuable Inner wheel network. Inner Wheel members worked under the title “Move to Connect” to keep in line with the theme and merge the old with the new to create and connect new friendships under mutual understanding. After the symposium, an elegant dinner with festive celebrations took place along with impeccable arrangements; where International Inner Wheel President Mrs Phyllis Charter gave a short speech. The event included a beautiful dinner cruise and a city tour followed by a farewell formal elegant dinner on the following day at the famous Rotterdam cathedral, where around 400 participants were attending the event.
Mrs. Phyllis Charter handed over the flag of Inner Wheel “Together we Can” to Muna Sweiss & Hala Akkad, where the latter in exchange handed over the flag of Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia to Mrs Charter.
It has been announced about the upcoming European Rally to be held in Berlin during the period 13-15 September 2022.

Thanks to God, Inner Wheel insisted that Philadelphia should be the end of a beautiful year in Cyprus at a ceremony and the finest match of our club with Inner wheel Paphos. Within the activities of the Inner Wheel Philharmonic in 2018-2019, a delegation of the club’s members headed by Ms. Alia Alyan, President of the club, took part in the announcement of twinning with the club Eneruel Pafos, chaired by Ms. Eliana Sava.

This step achieves the principles of the Inner Wheel, which promotes the development and consolidation of relations between clubs internationally.

It is well known that Jordan and Cyprus are stable and secure countries with similar values ​​and culture.

Finally, we wish the club more progress and prosperity in his career. Mr. Mona Sweis, member of the International Board and seventeen members of Philadelphia, accompanied by colleague Nahla Sweis and colleague Meroubi Badr from Amman Club participated in the important event. Thank you very much to our dear colleagues in Cyprus for their warm hospitality and great honor. .

The most important projects:

  1. In order to implement the slogan “Empower and Develop”, the main project was chosen. It is supported by the Women’s Program Center in Suf camp, which serves a large group of the local community and works to raise women’s cultural, social and economic efficiency the cost to12000 Jordanian Dinar.

 

  1. Donating the winter clothes, shoes, stockings for students of the mixed primary orphaned school in the province of Madaba cost 2000 dinars

 

  1. On the occasion of the Arab Orphan Day, a special entertainment program was held for the orphaned children followed by a luncheon. The distribution of sweets and various gifts brought joy and joy to the children’s hearts.

 

  1. With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan was distributed “Charitable Packages” worth 500 dinars for the homes of children’s villages SOS Branch of Irbid city, and was also purchased “Eid clothes” for all students of the village resident of dresses, pants, blouses, shoes and socks “worth 500 dinars won the admiration of children.

  1. Signing of the twinning agreement of the Philadelphia Club Area 95 with the Paphos Club Area 96 at a grand ceremony in Paphos.

Hamad and his sisters Shorouq and Boudoir and their colleague Bakr and their mother Shahira his family of SOS, Hanan mother sent by God to raise and mourn the children deprived of parents!

The feelings of sadness overwhelmed me and cried my tears to come back and smiled and reassured.

 

On Wednesday the 22nd of May 2019, Members of Philadelphia Club accompanied by President Aliya Alyan and International Board member Mrs. Mona Sweis visited the headquarters of SOS Society in Irbid to distribute Eid clothing to 85 children and many other goods!

 

As we thank the good people, we turn to Almighty God to help us continue
