On Tuesday 19/4/2022 the Inne Wheel Club of Petra headed by Mrs. Lynne Farraj Muasher visited the Mar Mansour Charitable Association, which provides needy families with food, education and medical needs, in addition to providing a home for children and women in need of shelter.

Members of Inner Wheel Petra were welcomed by the president of the association, Mrs. Taroub Kalis, who received the food parcels to be donated to the needy families before Easter Sunday , and thanked the ladies for their generous donation .

  • On Monday, April 5th, 2022, Inner Wheel Club of Petra, headed by Lynne Muasher, and in the presence of the VC of District 95 Egypt and Jordan Hala Al-Banna Nassoura, DE Maha Karram Shaheen, and Club members visited Al-Malath Foundation for Humanitarian Care, which was established in 1993 with the aim of meeting an important human need, relieving pain and providing palliative care to patients suffering from permanent diseases.

IWC memberes were welcomed by the Society’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mahmoud Sarhan, who received the donation of four computers dedicated to the Foundation.

Dr. Sarhan thanked the Inner Wheel members for their generous donation.
Mrs. Lynne Muasher, the club’s president, expressed her appreciation for the humanitarian services provided by the Al-Malath Foundation and those in charge of it.

On Tuesday 23/3/2022, members of Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by Mrs. Lynne Farraj Muasher visited the southern Jordan Valley, to Al-Naqa’ Secondary Mixed School, where the ladies of the administrative board, Lynne Muasher, Lina Al-Husseini and Fadia Hamarneh, distributed shoes to all the school’s 561 students.
The members of the club were welcomed by the Head of the Educational Supervision Department of the Directorate of Education of the Southern Jordan Valley Brigade, and the school director, Mrs. Khadija Al-Bawat.
The principal of the school presented a certificate of appreciation to the members of the club in appreciation of their generous donation.

In celebration of Mother’s Day, which falls on Monday, March 21st, 2022, Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by Lynne Farraj Muasher, visited the Families Development Charity Association, which is concerned with improving the conditions of poor families, raising the status of women and making them partners in solving their economic problems in the targeted area. In particular, enabling them to increase their awareness, train them well, and integrate them into society.
Mrs. Mayssar Al-Saadi, the association’s president, welcomed members of Inner Wheel Club of Petra where she handed over money and symbolic gifts to the mothers who support their families in appreciation of their efforts.
Mrs.Al-Saadi thanked the club members for their kind donation and support.

On February 13th, 2022, IWC of Petra headed by Mrs. Lynne Farrad Muasher, made a donation to the Sama Gaza Association for Community Development, in support of the center established in the camp, which works to establish sports, cultural and artistic activities for the camp’s children.
The check was received by Mrs. Heba Khoury, the representative of the association, who thanked the members of the club for their continuous support to the children of the camp.

Members of Inner Wheel Club of Petra , headed by Lynn Farraj Muasher, distributed winter coats to protect 370 children from the cold of this severe winter that all the charitable organizations work to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate of the people of this country.
Each delegate of the following three associations received parcels of coats to distribute to those in need, and thanked members of the club for their generous donation:
1. The Islamic Charitable Center Society / Al-Nazif Orphans Center.
2. Martyr Azmi Al-Mufti’s Orphanage Center.
3. Sama Gaza Foundation for Community Development.

In celebration of the International Inner Wheel Day on January 10th, 2022, members of IWC of Petra headed by Mrs. Lynn Farraj Muasher planted a carob tree in Amman Martyrs’ Garden.
This tree is one of the tender evergreen trees that endow humans, earth, animals and birds with many benefits.
On this occasion, IWC of Petra extends its sincere congratulations to NR, Mrs. Iman Al-Bashari, and CD Mrs. Hala Hagrass and all IW members around the world.
Together we raise the banner of friendship and hand in hand we work to achieve everything that is good for the country and its people.

 Members of Inner Wheel Club of Petra, headed by Mrs. Lynne Farraj, made a cash donation to the Orphan Care Center in the Church of “Our Lady of the Mountain” in the town of Anjara who supports  and cares for  approximately 35 children, males and females of age 1 month to 18 years old.
This donation will cover a part of their clothing, food and education.
The Pastor of the Church, “Our Lady of the Mountain”, Father Youssef Francis, thanked  IWC of Petra members for their generous donation, and wished everyone a glorious Christmas and a year full of blessings.

IWCs of D95 Egypt & Jordan Delegate Meeting, News , 2021

A delegation from Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by the club president Mrs. Lynne Farradj Muasher along with club delegates and members attended the  meeting for District 95 Egypt & Jordan in Cairo on Saturday the 4th of December.
The club members were proud of the announcement of choosing IW Petra member and Past District Chairman Mrs. Suzan Kilani Tayeh as The National Representative of D95 for the coming year 2022/2023
This visit coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of D95.
The 31 IW clubs celebrated the Golden Jubilee with joy at The Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel.
A curtesy visit was made to pay our condolences to D95 Chairman Mrs. Hala Hagrass on the passing away of her mother.
We ended our trip by a visit to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the Royal Mummies were put to rest.
A big thank to D95 NR Mrs. Iman El Bashary , DC Mrs. Hala Hagrass,
D95 Executive Committee and all members who participated in arranging this memorable visit.
