IWCs of D95 Egypt & Jordan Delegate Meeting, News , 2021

A delegation from Inner Wheel Club of Petra headed by the club president Mrs. Lynne Farradj Muasher along with club delegates and members attended the  meeting for District 95 Egypt & Jordan in Cairo on Saturday the 4th of December.
The club members were proud of the announcement of choosing IW Petra member and Past District Chairman Mrs. Suzan Kilani Tayeh as The National Representative of D95 for the coming year 2022/2023
This visit coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of D95.
The 31 IW clubs celebrated the Golden Jubilee with joy at The Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel.
A curtesy visit was made to pay our condolences to D95 Chairman Mrs. Hala Hagrass on the passing away of her mother.
We ended our trip by a visit to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where the Royal Mummies were put to rest.

D95 Executive Committee and all members who participated in arranging this memorable visit.

Brain is a muscle, if you don’t use it you may loose it
This is how Mrs. Ruba Haddad, Guest Speaker at IWC of Amman from the Brain & Beyond group, began her interesting lecture.
Brain & Beyond is a group concerned with training mental skills for all age groups in order to increase focus and  ability of the mind to work more than one skill at a time and to reduce the risks of forgetfulness, memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease etc….
The morning meeting was pleasant, with most of PPs of IWC of  Amman  and club members and their friends.
District 95  Vice Chairman  Mrs. Hala Nassora, and District 95  Editor Mrs. Maha Shaheen attended our gathering.
Mrs. Ruba also involved the attendees with some nice games of level difficulty that stimulate the mind and its capabilities.
P. Fayrouz Badwan presented a certificate of thanks and appreciation to the club’s Guest Speaker Mrs. Ruba Haddad.

Inner Wheel Club of Amman’s First Meeting for the General Assembly Members under the Title “Open Dialogue”

On Tuesday 10th, Inner Wheel Club of Amman, chaired by its Presiden Mrs. Nuha Asfour, hosted its first meeting for members of the general assembly under the title “Open Dialogue”, at King Hussein Club. The meeting was held in the presence of the President of District 95 Egypt and Jordan Mrs. Suzan Al-Tayeh, and the Regional WebMaster of District 95 Mrs. Abeer Dajani
During the meeting, the Club’s President spoke about the methodology of constitution and dialogue in all future activities and projects of the club. She highlighted that the love of giving and goodness that brings together the club’s members is rooted and represented by the work of Inner Wheel Club of Amman, and it shall continue with the same pace this year to make every effort to sustain previous projects and accomplish more. She also stressed the existence of a range of expertise and experiences in various areas among the members of the club, which must be utilized to achieve the desired goals
The President also presented a number of themes for discussion during the meeting, and the attendees shared ideas for sustainable projects and interactive social activities, which shall enhance the participation of all
furthermore, the District President, Mrs. Suzan Al-Tayeh, answered some questions regarding the Inner Wheel constitution and regulations, and her vision for this year
The meeting concluded by agreeing on some priorities that the administrative committee will work on developing and later share with all members. The President thanked the attendees for their attendance, commitment, and distinguished interactions during the discussion, confirming the continuation of open dialogue, and wishing God’s blessings and success for all. the meeting was followed by a brunch buffet

InnerWheel club of Amman district 95 visit to Inner Wheel Club of Suadiye District 242 In Istanbul

members paid a visit to their twin sisters at InnerWheel club of Suadiye district 242 inIstanbul to promote international understanding and friendship .We were welcomed by their district chairman Mrs Meltem Gökman 242 and the president Mrs Inci Yilmaz.
Both clubs had their twinning in 2009 by Mrs. Abeer Dajani from Amman club and Mrs. Esra Kepkep from Suadiye club.
The two clubs talked about future ventures together under our presidential logo “Together we can”
Also, a Rotary twinning was held at the same time between our husbands from the Rotary Club of Amman and Rotary club of Suadiye. A full program was arranged in Istanbul and all had a wonderful time together with full programs in harmony and bonding strongly together.
The logo “Together we can “ can make dreams come true.

Inner Wheel Clubs of Jordan Celebrates Inner Wheel International Day

The three Inner Wheel clubs of Jordan: Amman, Philadelphia and Petra celebrated today at Marriott Hotel Amman with Inner Wheel International Day.

The ceremony was opened by Mrs. Suzanne Al-Tayeh, Vice President of the district, where she conveyed to the Jordanian clubs the wishes of the National Delegate of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordon Mrs. Laila Al-Aswad, President of the IWCS 95 District Egypt & Jordon Mrs. Dina Ghorab and Board of Directors with a new year filled with love and friendship and serving the disadvantaged groups in our communities.

Mrs. Mona Soweis, member of International Inner Wheel Council, gave a speech in which she spoke about her work experience with International Inner Wheel and explained to the attendees the duties and responsibilities of this position.

At the end of the ceramony, they cutted the cake on the melodies of Inner Wheel song

Inner Wheel Suadiye Club April 2019

On Saturday, 6 April 2019, she received in her home in Oman Mrs. Jumana Mutawea, former President of the Amman Club, members of the Suadiye Club in Istanbul and their spouses from Rotarians.

A protocol with this club was implemented in 2010 when Ms. Jumana Mutawea was a national delegate and Mrs. Abeer Dajani was the club’s president that year.

The Turkish delegation was received by members of the current and former administrative board and members of the club.

Rotary Club Amman

On the occasion of the visit of the club’s Inner Wheel Club, the club’s twin club with their Jordanian partners, Inner Wheel Amman and Rotary Club Amman held a dinner on Monday 8/4/2019 at the Burj Al Hamam Restaurant at the InterContinental Jordan Hotel. Inner Wheel Amman Mrs. Laila Salameh attended the meeting, including Mrs. Susan Al Tayeh, Vice President of the Region 95 of Jordan

 

This visit, which began on 6/4/2019 until 10/4/2019, included a visit to Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, Madaba and the landmarks of Amman. The program of the visit included two invitations for dinner by HE Dr. Samir Jumana Mutawea, Mr. Mohamed and Abeer Dajani

 

It is worth mentioning that the twinning between the two clubs took place in 2010 when Abeer Dajani was president of Inner Wheel Amman Club and with the assistance of the former national delegate from Amman Club, Jumana Al Masri. The visit was very successful and the members of Saadia Club and their spouses expressed their happiness with this visit and their love for Jordan and its people and the feeling of mutual love. Gifts were exchanged between the parties.
