Joint Seminar on Women’s Health and Nutrition

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and in alignment with the goals of Inner
Wheel International to promote awareness and care for women’s
health—and in the spirit of cooperation and friendship among Inner
Wheel clubs—the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, headed by Ms. Shadia
Al-Ashry, hosted a joint seminar on women’s health and proper
nutrition with the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Ms. Amal Ezzat.
The event took place at Gezira Al-Ward Club in Mansoura and was attended
by Ms. Ghada Rahmy, editor of the District95  and a member of IWC of
Tanta.

The guest speaker, Dr. Henda Omar El-Saeed, a nutrition specialist,
delivered an insightful presentation on the latest developments in the
field of nutrition. She emphasized the principles of healthy eating,
which include maintaining a balanced diet with a variety of foods and
minimizing the intake of harmful substances.

The floor was then opened for an engaging discussion and questions from
attendees, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable information
shared.

At the conclusion of the seminar, Ms. Shadia Al-Ashry presented Dr.
Henda with a symbolic gift and shield of honor in gratitude for her
valuable contribution, on behalf of the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura.

The event was both meaningful and informative, and all participants
expressed their enthusiasm for future seminars that foster continued
collaboration and lasting friendships.

By the grace of God and His blessings—and in the spirit of ongoing
generosity and goodwill—the members of the Inner Wheel Club of
Mansoura, headed by Ms. Shadia Al-Ashry, continued their cherished
annual tradition of supporting Mansoura University Hospitals. This
esteemed medical facility serves Mansoura and its surrounding areas,
receiving thousands of patients in need of critical care.
This year, the club’s donation was dedicated to the ENT Department, and
included a bone drill motor used in facial surgeries caused by
accidents. The device, valued at 420,000 EGP, fulfilled an urgent and
essential need for the department.

needs and Orphans

Under the theme “The Heartbeat of Humanity,” on Monday, February 17,
2025, as part of its ongoing sustainable projects, the Inner Wheel Club
of Mansoura, led by Ms. Shadia Al-Ashry, visited the Al-Nour Wal Amal
Association for the Blind.

Years ago, the club initiated a program to teach mothers of blind
children how to read Braille, enabling them to support their children’s
education and help them become active members of society. The delegation
was warmly received by Ms. Effat Abdel-Jalil, a board member of the
association and a fellow member of the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura.

During the visit, President Shadia presented the club’s annual
donation check of EGP 10,000. The event was filled with hope and
optimism for a brighter future for these children.

As the second half of the holy month began, the Inner Wheel Club of
Mansoura continued its annual tradition by visiting Dar Al-Nabaa, a
center for children with special needs. The club has been supporting
this center for many years. During the visit, members served Iftar meals
to the children and staff and also provided a cash donation.

The delegation then proceeded to the Health Improvement Association for
the Care of Orphan Girls, an organization dedicated to sheltering,
educating, and supporting orphaned girls, including assistance with
their future marriages. The club, which has been following up with this
home for years, provided Iftar meals for the girls and staff, along with
a cash donation.

In total, donations to Dar Al-Nabaa and the Health Improvement
Association amounted to EGP 15,000. The visit left everyone with a sense
of fulfillment and renewed energy, inspiring them to continue giving and
supporting those in need.

Elderly Care project

On Wednesday, January 5, 2025, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of Inner
Wheel Club of Mansoura, accompanied by several club members, visited the
Social Care Foundation for the Elderly in Nabroh, Dakahlia Governorate.
This facility is one of the homes that Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura has
been diligently supporting for several years by providing them with
their essential needs. The home currently cares for 30 men and 28 women.

Mrs. Shadia communicated directly with the director of the facility, and
the club supplied urgently needed food items, cleaning supplies, and
medications. Additionally, we distributed gifts and sweets to the
residents, which filled their hearts with joy and happiness. We also
conducted a tour of the home with a promise to follow up regularly, God
willing.

The residents were overjoyed by the visit, and the experience added to
their feelings of satisfaction and gratitude. We, too, felt the profound
impact of our visit. We left recharged with positive energy, inspiring
us to continue our journey of goodness and giving.

Support people with special needs

On Wednesday, November 4, 2024, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, the President of
Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, accompanied by Mrs. Maysa Al-Hadidi,
Treasurer, and Mrs. Nagwa kandil, past President of the Club, headed

to Dar Al-Nabaa house for the Care of People with Special Needs , which
is one of the projects that the club has been following up and
supporting for years. They were received by Mrs. Enayat Al-Sherbiny,
Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the House, the Club presented
the annual donation check to them. We also distributed winter clothes to
the girls,which added a lot of satisfaction and gratitude to their
feelings. We also felt happy with the impact we left in their hearts

Orphans Care project

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity” on Wednesday, November 4, 2024,
and within the framework of completing the sustainable projects
supported by the Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura . Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry,
the president of the Club, accompanied by Mrs. Maysa Al-Hadidi,
Treasurer, and Mrs. Nagwa kandil Past President, headed to Dar Al-Fadl
house for the Care of Orphaned Girls. There are 30 girls in the house at
different educational levels. The house takes care of them and spends on
their education and marriage. We were received by Mrs Rana, the director
of the house, the club’s president, Mrs. Shadia donated the annual check
to cover girls’expenses.

Celebrating the 31st anniversary of IWC of Mansoura

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity” and during Inner Wheel
Mansoura’s trip to Ras El Bar, the club members headed by Mrs. Shadia El
Ashry went to the Elderly Care Home (in Ras El Bar), which is one of the
sustainable projects that the club has been following up and supporting
for several years. The delegation was headed on this visit by Mrs. Abeer
Dajani, District 95 Egypt and Jordan,Chairman accompanied by Mrs. Jumana
El Masry, a member of Inner Wheel Club of Amman and a former member of
Inner Wheel International, and Mrs. Mai Shweihat, a member of Inner
Wheel Club of Amman. They kindly donated cash to the home and its
workers. The honourable Mrs. Abeer Dajani also distributed gifts to the
residents of the home, which brought joy and happiness to their hearts.
Mrs. Abeer was also accompanied on this visit by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, the
editor of the newsletter in the district.
The President, Mrs. Shadia presented the annual cash donation, and the
members of Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura donated cash and distributed
sweets and gifts to the residents. How happy the residents were with
this visit, and it added a lot of satisfaction and gratitude to their
feelings. We also felt happy with the impact we left on them, hoping to
God that we will always be able to do good and give more.

IW Clubs of Mansoura and Tanta and a trip to Ras el Bar

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, headed by
Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry and Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Amal
Ezzat, held their annual celebration at the Steigenberger Hotel in Ras
El Bar City, with the presence of Mrs. Abeer Dajani, district 95 Egypt
and Jordan Chairman, accompanied by an esteemed delegate from different
IWCs members of Jordan.The ceremony began with the Egyptian and
Jordanian national anthems, then a minute of silence for the soul of
Mrs. Abeer Dajani’s nephew, may he rest in peace. Then, the President of
Mansoura Club welcomed the attendees, and the two presidents spoke and
presented the projects and activities that have been completed, as well
as the projects and activities planned to be implemented until the end
of the year. The Chairman of the district gave her speech and praised
the implemented projects and activities, and stressed the need to
implement the theme of the year by paying attention to orphanages and
the elderly and working to visit them and bring joy to their hearts.
Memorial gifts were exchanged between the head of the district and the
heads of the two clubs, and Mrs. Abeer Dajani presented a cash amount to
the two clubs as a contribution to their charitable projects.
Everyone had lunch to the tunes of the saxophone in a cheerful
atmosphere of friendship and joy. Many thanks to the head of the
district, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, and to the clubs that honored us with their
presence: Amman, Philadelphia and Petra from Jordan, and the clubs of
Tanta, Cairo, Giza, Al-Ahram, Al-Nil, Sphinx, Tahrir, Cairo North,
Garden City, Heliopolis, Al-Gezira, Nasr City, Port Said, Minya,
Alexandria and Alexandria East. Here’s to more success for all clubs and
a happy new year to everyone .The group spent two days enjoying the
scenic views and sea trip in an atmosphere of familiarity and
friendliness.

 On Sunday ,October,20th Under the theme”Heartbeat of Humanity,” Mrs.
Shadia Al-Ashry, President of Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, accompanied
by Mrs. Ghada Abdullah, Honorary Secretary of the Club, and Mrs. Nagwa
Kandil, past president of the Club, headed to the “Nidaa Association”
for Rehabilitation of Hearing Impaired Children and those with Multiple
Hearing and Visual Disabilities, which is one of the sustainable
projects that Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura has been following for years.
Mrs. Shadia presented the annual donation check and distributed sweets
to the children, which brought joyful lights to their faces.

Mansoura IWC -support for environmental projects

Under the slogan “Shed A Light,” and with the guidance and support for environmental projects from District 95 /Egypt and Jordan, the Mansoura IWC led by Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, made a donation of 2000 pounds to the project aimed at protecting the environment from stray dogs. This initiative is being spearheaded by the Innerwheel Giza Club, under the leadership of Mrs. Mona Gamaee, and is sponsored by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, the head of District 95. This contribution reflects the club’s commitment to serving the environment and the community.
