Summary of the first preliminary meeting of District 95 /Egypt and Jordan on

16/9/2023

The meeting was opened with the Egyptian anthem followed by the Jordanian Royal anthem.

Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, District chairman began the meeting by welcoming the National Representative Mrs. Nahla Sweiss, the distinguished Jordanian executive council, the former heads of the District, the club heads, and all the honorable attendees.

The National Representative, Mrs. Nahla Sweiss, delivered her speech welcoming all attendees.

The speech started with the slogan of the year chosen by International Inner Wheel president Mrs. Trish Douglas

– Shine a Light , which emphasis on the contribution of women and girls in building peace, and the scientific research on health and physical safety.

– The International Innerwil Conference, which will be held in Manchester in May 7-10 / 2024 was mentioned with details of how to join & attend to Shine the light on our District 95.

– The national project adopted by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh for this year about the environment as the Mega project to be submitted in Manchester Convention.

The District with all clubs in Egypt & Jordan started implementing the project by having 3 important seminars to be held in Cairo Jordan & Alexandria with prominent speakers.

The activity of the House of Culture was mentioned at the international conference.

– Nomination of Mrs. Eman Al-Bashari as a member of IIW  Board Director.

-Request a decision for a new club in Alexandria.

– Two ladies were nominated to The Margaret Golding Award:

Ms. Samia Hatata from

Alexandria Club and Mrs. Nevin El Abrashy from Zamalek Club.

Mrs. Nahla the National Representative of D95 concluded her speech with wishes for a successful and distinguished year, and an honorable presence at the international conference in Manchester.

ملخص الإجتماع التمهيدي الاول للمنطقه 95 مصر والاردن بتاريخ

                 16/9/2023

افتتح الإجتماع بعزف السلام الوطنى المصري تلاه السلام الملكي الاردنى .

استهلت رئيسة المنطقة السيدة / منى أبو الفتوح الاجتماع بالترحيب بالمندوبة القومية السيدة / نهلة صويص و المجلس التنفيذى الموقر و الوفد الاردنى و رئيسات المنطقة السابقات و رئيسات الاندية و كل الحضور الكريم .

القت المندوبة القومية السيدة / نهلة صويص كلمتها وابتدأتها بالترحيب برئيسة المنطقه السيده منى أبو الفتوح والمجلس التنفيذي و بالحضور. تضمنت الكلمة النقاط التالية :

– شعار Shine a Light و المقصود منه . التركيز على مساهمة النساء و الفتيات فى بناء السلام ، والتركيز على سلامه الصحه العقلية والبدنية .

– تكلمت كذالك عن المؤتمر الدولى للاينرويل و الذى سيعقد فى مانشستر فى مايو 2024.

– والمشروع القومى الذى تبنته السيدة / منى أبو الفتوح  لهذا

العام و هو مشروع البيئة و آلية تنفيذه .

– ذكرت فعالية بيت الثقافة فى المؤتمر الدولي .

– ترشيح السيده ايمان البشاري  كعضوه في مجلس الانرويل الدولي

–ارسال طلب تأسيس نادي جديد في الإسكندرية.

– جائزة مارجرت جولدنج المرشحة لها السيدة / سامية حتاتة من نادى

اينرويل الاسكندرية و السيدة / نيفين الابراشى من نادى اينرويل الزمالك .

و اختتمت السيدة نهلة حديثها بالتمنيات بعام موفق و متميز و حضور مشرف فى المؤتمر الدولى

 فى مانشستر .

ثم القت السيدة منى أبو الفتوح كلمتها و قامت بالترحيب بالمندوبه القوميه والمجلس التنفيذي والحضور .

و قدمت عضوات المجلس الموقر وهن :

السيدة / نهلة صويص المندوبة القومية . السيدة / عناية شرارة نائبة المندوبة القومية . السيدة / فيولا رمسيس نائبة رئيسة المنطقة فى مصر . السيدة / رولا حاوى نائبة رئيسة المنطقة فى الاردن . السيدة / نورا فايق المستشارة الرئيسة السابقة . السيدة / امنية حنا السكرتيرة الفخرية . السيدة / اميمة عزت أمينة الصندوق . السيدة / نيللى حلمى مسؤولة تنمية الاندية . السيدة / ريم نزيه المنظمة الدولية . السيدة / غادة رحمى محررة النشرة . السيدة / عاليه عليان مسؤولة الموقع الاكترونى .

وعبرت السيدة منى أبو الفتوح خلال كلمتها عن اتجاه رؤيتها هذا العام موضحة :

1) الهدف الرئيسى للاينرويل و واجبنا ان نتوصل اليه بالحب و العطاء .

2) دعم قضايا تمكين المرأة و النهوض بالتعليم و الصحة و ذوى الاحتياجات

الخاصة و كبار السن . 3) المشروع القومى للمنطقة 95 و هو حماية البيئة و آلية تنفيذه. هذا و سيتم

عرض هذا المشروع فى مؤتمر مانشستر المنعقد هذا العام فى مايو 2024 ان شاء الله بمناسبة مرور مئة عام على تأسيس هذه المنظمه العالميه .

4) الطلب من أندية الاينرويل فى المنطقه مصر و الاردن زراعة الاشجار بمناسبة اليوم العالمى للسلام الذي يوافق 2023/9/21

5) الطلب بعمل ارشيف لكل ما يخص مشاريع اندية الاينرويل مصر و الاردن .

6) التعاون بين الاندية في المنطقه فى تنفيذ المبادرات الاجتماعية التى قدمت من بعض الاندية مثل نادى اينرويل لوتس مصر لتطوير و تأهيل قرية الجبل .

7) مبادرة استكمال حجرة PCR و السونار فى مستشفى بهية .

8) تفعيل مبادرة اعرف بلدك و ترتيب الرحلات إلى المناطق التاريخيه مثل

الاقصر واسوان و زيارة المنطقة الى اندية المحافظات و الى اندية الاردن .

9) الدعوة الى تناول افطار رمضاني جماعى فى شهر رمضان المبارك والاحتفال بعيد المرأة المصرية .

10) تشجيع حضور الندوات الثقافية و الفنية و اقامة المعارض .

11) الدعوة الى تنمية العضوية و التوسع بانشاء اندية جديدة . 12) اعادة مجلة الاينرويل الورقية المتعارف عليها بجانب المجلة

الالكترونية .

اختتمت السيدة / منى أبو الفتوح كلمتها بأمنياتها الطيبة لجميع العضوات و الرئيسات و مجالس الادارات بعام اينرويلى موفق.

القت كل عضوة من عضوات المجلس التنفيذى كلمة خاصه لتوضيح الدور الذى تقوم به كل منهن .

في الختام عرض فيلم وثائقى خاص يحمل صفة العرفان بالجميل لايقونات الزمن الجميل قامت باعداده السيدة / منى عارف رئيسه منطقه سابقة .

و فى نهاية اللقاء ، وبكل حميمية التقطت الرئيسة و المندوبة القومية و وفد الاردن و جميع العضوات من اندية الاينرويل الصور التذكارية فى جو من السعادة و الوعد ببذل كل الجهد و العطاء فيما هو قادم ان شاء الله .

On June 17, 2023, the general assembly of District 95 (Egypt and Jordan) and handover ceremony for the new, 2023-2024, chairman was held at the Safir Hotel in Dokki, Cairo.

The meeting began with the Egyptian & Jordanian national anthems. National Representative, Ms. Suzanne Kilani, delivered her speech welcoming the District Chairman, the executive committee and the audience. She announced “Shine a Light” as the slogan for the next year, 2023-2024. She then awarded certificates and the “Margaret Golding” badge to  Mrs. Magda Fahmy and Mrs. Shahinaz Hafez, who received this award for their outstanding work outside the Inner Wheel.

Next, Ms. Nora Fayek, District 95 Chairman, gave a speech in which she thanked the NR for her distinguished work this year and the continuous presence of D95 on International Inner Wheel magazine & social media. She announced that the district was selected for a national project (Mega Project) to be presented at the IIW Convention on the occasion of the Centennial of the Inner Wheel. Ms. Fayek thanked the members of the District Committee, Ms. Enaya Shararah , Deputy National Representative, Ms. Hala Hagrass, Past Chairman , Mrs. Afaf Maged, Vice-Chairman, Ms. Abeer Dajani Vice-Chairman from Jordan, Ms. Azza Al- Mofti, Honorary Secretary, Ms. Omaima Ezzat, Treasurer, Ms. Reem Nazih, the ISO , Ms. Fatma  Abu Hatab, Editor, and Ms. Mervat Al-Azzouni, webmaster, for their outstanding work for the success of this year. Certificates of appreciation were presented to the 32 club presidents, in recognition for their efforts this year.

Shields of appreciation were presented to the members of the District Committee who ended their term this year, in gratitude for their hard and professional work together.

Finally, the handover ceremony for the incoming Chairman for the year 2023-2024, Mrs. Mona Aboul Fotouh, took place. Congratulations to Mrs. Aboul Fotouh, and her esteemed district committee . We wish her success in the coming year.
