Gezira IWC – exhibition at Al Safa Youth Center in the Haram area

Gezira IWC
This year’s slogan, “Shine a Light,” guided the efforts of Gezeira Sporting IW Club led by Mrs. Azza El Mofty and its members. They organized an exhibition at Al Safa Youth Center in the Haram area on Friday, May 3, 2024, to sell new and used clothes at affordable prices. Twenty-five boxes of clothes were contributed, demonstrating the club’s dedication to social responsibility and its aim to positively impact the lives of low-income students and families.

Sporting IWC – plastic surgery consultant seminar

Sporting IWC
On February 17, 2024, Sporting IW Club, led by Mrs. Raina Allam, with
Mrs. Reem Khalaf as the organizer and Mrs. Reem Al-Milady as the
honorary secretary, hosted a seminar featuring Professor Dr. Karim
Rafla, a plastic surgery consultant. The event showcased the latest
modern techniques in plastic surgery, with Dr. Rafla sharing valuable
insights. Attendees engaged with questions, fostering a sense of
camaraderie and learning among all present, making it a memorable and
enlightening gathering.

IW Of Zamalek Club. – the importance of revisiting ancient interpretations of the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s hadiths

Zamalek IWC under the leadership of Ms. Sanaa Al-Malwani, organized a
cultural symposium on February 27, 2024, at the Pasha Complex. The event
featured researcher Dr. Islam Al-Behairy, drawing a notable audience
from various clubs including the Zamalek IW club, with the presence of
Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, D95 chairman, and district secretary Omneya
Hanna.
Dr. Al-Behairy emphasized the importance of revisiting ancient
interpretations of the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s hadiths to
align with the evolving Muslim societies, engaging with the audience’s
inquiries.
Wrapping up, the club president expressed gratitude to Dr. Al-Behairy,
presenting him with a commemorative shield from the club and capturing
the moment with souvenir photos.

In the presence of club members, Ms. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, chairman of D95
visited Zamalek IW Club on 23 September 2023 .Together with the club
president, Ms. Sanaa Al-Malwani, they reviewed the club’s projects for
the year.

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club – Iftar for the children of “The Social Welfare Home for Boys”

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, IWC of Alexandria Capital, led by Dr. Nevine
Abdel Rassoul and Secretary Dr. Ola Owais, hosted a special Iftar for
the children of “The Social Welfare Home for Boys” in Ezbet El Matar
during the blessed month of Ramadan. Alongside Mr. Ayman, the house’s
head, supervisors, and Dr. Heba Salamah from the Volunteer Life
Foundation, & our club members shared the Iftar with the children. The
boys received new clothes including pants, a T-shirt, two underwear, two
socks, and Crocs sandals. Additionally, we celebrated the birthdays of
our colleagues Ghada El Mosslemani and Iman Karkoura. Happy Birthday!

Naser City IWC – Annual Charity Iftar

Naser City IWC.
On Saturday, March 25, 2024, which coincided with Ramadan 15, the
Festival of Love and Goodness took place, sponsored by Mrs. Siham El
Gohary, the founder of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, who has been
organizing this event since 1997.

The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs. Sherine Arafa,
collaborated with the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, under the
leadership of Mrs. Nihal Al-Bakry, and with the assistance of Mrs.
Shahinaz Hafez, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Friends
of a Bright Tomorrow Association, Mrs. Hend Mortagi, Past President of
the Club, and Mrs. Eman El Gemei, the Club’s Treasurer. Together, they
organized the annual Charity Iftar Party, inviting orphaned children and
those with special needs from various associations and institutions.

The Iftar, graced by the presence of Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, Chairman
of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, along with esteemed members of the
District Board, presidents, and members of different Inner Wheel clubs.
The Iftar was held at the Eagles Complex of the Air Force in Almaza,
Heliopolis, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy. Renowned artists,
singer Sameh Yousry and singer Sabreen Al-Nagili, entertained the
children and guests, while star Mr. Ahmed Shaker Abdel Latif,
accompanied by Mr. Ahmed El Essawy, Director of Public Relations at the
Media Production City, engaged with the children in games, singing, and
competitions. The children had a delightful time at the Iftar Party and
received gifts as well.

IW Of New Cairo Club – annual “Iftar ElKheir” party

IW Of New Cairo Club.
On Monday, March 25, 2024, Mrs. Nihal ElBakry president of New Cairo IWC
and Mrs. Sherine Arafa president of Nasr City IWC collaborated to host
the annual “Iftar ElKheir” party in celebration of Ramadan. Under the
patronage of Mrs. Siham El Gohary and Mrs. Maggie Shanen.
The event was a joyful gathering. Renowned singers Sameh Yousry and
Sabreen Al-Nigili performed at the ceremony. while artist Ahmed Shaker
Abdel Latif engaged warmly with the children present.
The event united 250 orphans and special needs youth sponsored by eight
Inner Wheel Clubs in Egypt,
including the Friends of a Bright Tomorrow Association, Foundation for
Intellectual Education, Right to Life Association, Awlady Association,
Dar Al-Huda Association, Sons of Jerusalem Association, El Fustat
Association, and Dar El Hana.
This celebration, attended by various Inner Wheel Club presidents and
guests, featured dancing, music, and gifts for the children and youth,
fostering a festive ambiance.

IW Of Alexandria Mediterranean Club – 4 earphones to 2 students – Club’s initiatives

IW Of Alexandria Mediterranean Club.

Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by Dr. Eman Shafshak and honorary
secretary Shadia El-Derini, provided 4 earphones to 2 students, each
receiving 2 earphones for their severe hearing impairment. This donation
aims to improve the students’ academic performance—one in primary and
the other in secondary school. The earphones were handed over on March
31, at Amplifon Middle East in Sidi Gaber, supervised by specialists.
The project cost totaled 43,900 EGP and is part of the club’s
initiatives for the year’s theme “Shine a Light,” as advocated by
District 95 Egypt and Jordan.

IW Of Giza Pyramids Club – Iftar for orphans at the Mashabek Youth Center in Haram

IW Of Giza Pyramids Club.
On Wednesday, March 27th, the Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids took
part in an Iftar for orphans at the Mashabek Youth Center in Haram, a
longstanding event for the club. They distributed 100 hot meals and Mrs.
Nadia Mansour generously donated money to the orphans as gifts joined by
Mrs. Eman Selim and Mrs. Azza Dowidar during the visit.

IW Of Mansoura Club – Light and Hope Association for the Blind donation – sustainable projects

IW Of Mansoura Club.
Carrying the slogan “Shine A Light,” on Sunday, March 31st, Mansoura IWC
as part of their ongoing commitment to sustainable projects, President
Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry of Innerwheel Mansoura, along with club members,
visited Dar Al-Fadl to support orphaned girls. The home caters to 30
girls at various educational levels, covering their education and future
needs. A donation check of 10,000 pounds was presented by President Mrs.
Shadia to Dr. Siham Anan, Chairperson of the House’s Board of Directors.
Subsequently, they visited the Light and Hope Association for the Blind,
where Braille training for blind mothers began years ago to aid their
children’s education, warmly welcomed by Mrs. Effat Abdel gelil, a club
member and association board member. An annual donation of 10,000 pounds
was also presented. The day concluded with Iftar Al-Mohammadi restaurant
in the Ramadan ambiance of love and friendship at Rose Island Sports
Club, ushering in hope and positivity for the children’s bright future.
