Tanta IWC – Tanta Oncology Institute Donation

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Tanta IW Club, led by Mrs. Amal Jalal Ezzat and attended by Mrs. Ghada Rahmi, a member of the Executive District 95, visited the Tanta Oncology Institute. Accompanied by Mrs. Omaima Nassar, the Treasurer, and several club members. They donated medicines worth 105 thousand pounds to treat tumor patients at the institute. 
This generous contribution was made possible by the donations from members of Tanta IW Club. May God reward them for their kindness and generosity. We wish all patients a full and speedy recovery. This initiative marks the conclusion of the Tanta IW Club’s projects for the year.

Under the theme “Shine a Light” and to foster camaraderie among Innerwheel clubs, members of Inerwheel El Nile Club, led by President Mrs. Maha Serour, along with Mrs. Mona Abulfetouh, District 95 chairman of Egypt and Jordan, and their esteemed board, visited the Innerwheel clubs of Alexandria and Damanhour on 27/4/2024. Each club proudly showcased their successful projects and achievements for the current calendar year. The meeting was productive and the visit rewarding, with best wishes extended to all clubs for continued success and groundbreaking initiatives.

IW Of El Nile Club – University of Banha visit donation

IW Of El Nile Club
In accordance with the “Shine a Light” theme and recognizing the vital role of education and student well-being, El Nile IW Club, & under the leadership of President Mrs. Maha Serour, visited the esteemed University of Banha on 7/5/2024. Inspired by the initiative of Mrs. Azza El Mofty, President of El Gezira Club, the club donated 11,000 LE to cover the annual fees for graduates who have successfully passed their final exams but are unable to receive their graduation certificates due to outstanding tuition fees. This support will enable these graduates to obtain their certificates, pursue job opportunities, and enhance their professional lives.

Under the slogan “Shine a Light,” Mrs. Fatma Barrada, President of Al Tahrir IWC visited Dar Al-Iman, a facility providing care for children with disabilities in the Fifth Settlement area. The club donated 10,000 EGP, marking its second donation of the year, following a previous donation of the same amount to Dar Al- Iman.

Under the theme “Shine a Light” and with the goal of improving lives through a sustainable project focusing on providing prosthetic limbs, the El Nile IW Club, led by Mrs. Maha Serour, has effectively donated 168,500 Egyptian pounds to support sixteen patients in need of prosthetic limbs. The El Nile club and its president express deep appreciation to Mrs. Mounira Kafafi for her dedicated efforts and significant contributions to the success of this project.

El Nile IWC – sustainable donations – Nidaa Association for the rehabilitation of deaf children and the hearing-impaired

Carrying forward our commitment to sustainable donations under the theme “Shine a Light,” the members of El Nile, IWC led by President Mrs. Maha Serour, contributed twenty-six thousand Egyptian pounds (26000 LE) to the Nidaa Association for the rehabilitation of deaf children and the hearing-impaired in Sheikh Zayed. Our visit was a joyful success as we interacted with the children, sharing moments of play and laughter. Innerwheel El Nile extends heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Magda Fahmi, the head of the Board of Nidaa Association, for her warm reception and
generosity.

IW Of Giza Club – garden beautification and planting project in Al-Asmarat neighborhood square

IW Of Giza Club.
Under the slogan “Shine A Light” and in alignment with the national project for Inner Wheel District 95/ Egypt and Jordan, led by Mrs. Mona Abul Fotouh, which focuses on environmental preservation, the Lotus Inner Wheel Club proposed a garden beautification and planting project in Al-Asmarat neighborhood square. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Cleaning and Beautification Authority and the Urban Communities Authority. The Giza Inner Wheel Club, presided over by Mrs. Mona Gomaa, contributed 7,000 EGP to support this community service project.

IWC – vaccinate and sterilize stray dogs in the tourist area of the Giza Pyramids

Under the slogan “Shine A Light,” the Giza Inner Wheel Club, led by Mrs. Mona Gimaie, is actively engaging in environmental preservation projects aligned with District 95 initiatives in Egypt and Jordan, overseen by Mrs. Mona Aboul Fotouh. Among these initiatives is the project to vaccinate and sterilize stray dogs in the tourist area of the Giza Pyramids. Twelve dogs have been vaccinated and sterilized at a cost of 1,000 EGP each, with the participation of several Inner Wheel clubs (Sphinx, New Cairo, North Cairo, West Cairo, Zamalek, Nile, Mansoura, Lotus, and Gezira), totaling 42,000 EGP. Additional dogs will be vaccinated and sterilized with the remaining funds. We extend our thanks to the participating clubs for their efforts in preserving the environment and promoting tourism.

Alexandria IWC – visited the Faculty of Education at Alexandria University

On Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, members of Alexandria IWC led by Mrs.Shahira Maher, visited the Faculty of Education at Alexandria University. They were welcomed by the Dean, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Farag. The IWC of Alexandria donated 36,300 pounds to cover the expenses of outstanding final-year students, enabling them to graduate and enter the job market. The university expressed their profound thanks and gratitude for this initiative.
