IWC of Alexandria Sporting Club, Projects, 2022

On Thursday 31st of March 2022, the members IWC of Alexandria Sporting headed by Mrs. Reem El Milady celebrated the Day of the Orphan, attending by P.P/ Reem Khalaf , P.P/ Hala Ghitany ,Vice President/ Ranya Sherif Bayoumi and member/ Haydi Abdou.
A fun day was spent at Alex West with the children of the Association for Social Advancement to sponsor the orphan child at Karmouz, by providing buses, lunches, sweets, clothes and Ramadan lanterns, a wonderful celebration, DJ and clowns which added joy and pleasure to the children.

To complete the charitable work and provide everything that helps to achieve this noble goal, and on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan and the day of the orphan, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean headed by Mrs. Mona Abadir visited the Life Association for the care of orphans with special needs and donated to them an amount of L.E. 10,000.00 as a contribution from the club to meet the needs of the association.

Ramadan is here, and the race for charity and doing good deeds is accelerating. Mrs. Fairouz Badwan, president of IW Club of Amman preferred to start early this year, as she met with some of the board committees ladies on Sunday 27/3/2022 to distribute 200 Ramadan food parcels to representatives of societies in Amman, Irbid, Karak and Aqaba: details as follows:-
– Cerebral Palsy Association.
– Cystic Fibrosis Society.
– The National Association for People with Special Needs.
– Al-Shahd Association for Orphans.
– Abdoun Valley Charitable Society.
Many thanks for the ladies who donated these parcels, we are still receiving your contributions so that we can reach more families in need. Happy Ramadan.

Inner Wheel Club of Cairo West received a kind and thoughtful invitation from Mrs. Magda Fahmy -the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of “Nidaa Association for the Rehabilitation of Hearing Impaired Children”- on Thursday, March 31st, 2022, to attend and witness the opening of the NEW NURSERY established at the new branch of the association in Sheikh Zayed.
This was gratitude and honoured, having this fine establishment inaugurated and equipped under the name of late Mrs. Fadia Badr Eldin as an ongoing sustainable charity (sadaka garya صدقة جارية) in her memory and to honour her pure soul.

The members of Inner Wheel Club of Port Said headed by Mrs.Heba Al Kilani held a meeting at the Shooting Club on Wednesday 30/3/2022, that after the club’s status was reconciled in the Social Solidarity Directorate.
The new club members elected Mrs. Heba Al-Kilani as Club President for another year.
A check was donated to the Nour El Rahman Association for the care of people with special needs with the amount of L.E. 15000.00 and the Al-Noor and Al-Amal Association with check amounting of L.E.5000.00 .
It was also agreed to make Ramadan bags distribute to needed people.

On Tuesday, March 29th, 2022
Mrs. Amira Aref, President of IWC of Tanta, attended the grand opening of the “Al-Falak” project to sponsor and rehabilitate Down Syndrome champions in the village of Hessa Akwa in Kafr El-Zayat, Gharbia Governorate.
The Inner Wheel Club of Tanta participated in contributing to this great project, believing in the importance of the project in providing its services to children with Down syndrome, in addition to providing full accommodation from the age of 18 for orphans from among them.
All thanks and appreciation to His Eminence, Bishop Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and its dependencies, as well as everyone who contributed to this great project.

On Wednesday 23rd of March, The Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids under the presidency of Mrs Eman Selim honored & rewarded the learners of literacy class in ElMashabek youth center in El Haram district that passed the test successfully to motivate other learners to persevere learning. The club is taking over the supervision on this class since 2004 as one of the sustainable projects that the club is keen to keep following to assure its success.
On the same day, as a usual thing before Ramadan, the club distributed charitable food supplies bags on all the learners of literacy classes, the staff of the center & the cleaning workers around the center in Boulaq district.
In addition, the club distributed other charitable food supplies bags on the workers of Yacht club in Cairo, as an initiative to support the families with most need in the light of the current global crisis that the world is going through.

On the good faith of charitable work and fulfillment of providing a standard of living befitting the dignity of Egyptian women and providing everything that helps them to achieve this noble goal, the charity workshop was opened on Monday, March 28th, 2022, under the patronage of Mrs. Hala Hagrass, Chairman of Inner Wheel D 95 Egypt and Jordan, and Mrs. Inas El Imam, President of Inner Wheel Club of Giza , and in partnership with the Hassan Azzam Charity Foundation, a bed sheet and 2 pillowcases were manufactured at the presence of the honorable audience.
All gratitude and appreciation to those in charge of this project and to everyone who contributed and participated in achieving sustainable community development to put a smile on faces with the ultimate goal of raising the nation .

The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Al-Nozha headed by Mrs. Omayma El Gharbi, on Sunday, March 27th,2022 and we believe in our positive role in society to provide a better life, by handing over a prosthetic limb to a 54-year-old man who worked as a driver and lost his leg as a result of a disease that led to his amputation from above the knee.

On March 23rd, 2022, the IWC of El Tahrir , headed by Mrs. Noha Maatouk and honorary secretary Lamia Fawzy, and in the presence of PP   Mrs.Souad Gretley, visited the “Misr Al-Mahrousa Baladi Association” Dar Al-Salaam branch, and participated in the celebration of Orphan’s Day and Mother’s Day. Gifts and sweets were distributed to children and (Abayas) to the mothers, in addition to Ramadan cartons.
The program of the ceremony included children’s choir singing and poetry.
The Club members paid L.E.  12,000  (twelve thousand Egyptian pounds), for the gifts distributed to the children and mothers with Ramadan cartons.
The ceremony was filled with an atmosphere of intimacy, love, and joy on the faces of the children.
