On Wednesday 9th,2022, under the patronage of Chairman
D95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Hala Hagrass and her Board Committee and to activate this year’s Theme (Pink First), the IWCs in Egypt and Jordan participated in establishing a full room for analyzes and PCR at Baheya Hospital in Sheikh Zayed (under construction) and in line with the world’s celebrations of International Women’s Day, IWCs of D95 Egypt and Jordan donated an amount of L.E. 619,000.00 ( six hundred nineteen thousand Egyptian pounds )and signed the contract between Baheya Foundation and the clubs involved in this great project (28 IWCs from 31) which serves the largest category of Women treated for breast cancer free of charge.
The officials of the Baheya Foundation received the members and held a seminar to raise awareness of breast cancer diseases and presented a documentary film in which they explained the Foundation’s activities and their role in caring for and rehabilitating from depression which led to the admiration of the audience and they praised the effort made by all the employees of the Baheya Foundation.
All thanks to all the Inner Wheel Clubs in Egypt and Jordan, who contributed to the success of this generous initiative.

On March 13th, 2022, and under the slogan of this year, Pink First, the Inner wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha, headed by Mrs. Omayma El Gharbi handed over a prosthetic limb to a woman suffering from an amputation above the knee.

On Saturday, March 12th, 2022, Mrs. Maha Ragab, President of IWC of Sharm el Sheikh, and a number of IWC members visited the Charitable Society for Child Care in Al Fustat Complex in Al Umraniya, which is the club’s sustainable project.
This visit coincided with the opening of the various clinics prepared by the association to serve the community and treat the residents of the area on the one hand, and disbursement to the association and the house on the other hand. The Deputy Governor of Giza opened the start of these clinics.
Mrs. Afaf Maged, Vice Chairman of t District 95, and a number of members of the IWC of Giza attended the opening ceremony with the members of IWC of Sharm el Sheikh.
Mrs. Maha Ragab, the club’s president, and the distinguished ladies of the club, donated to the association to cover the needs of the nursing home, including children’s clothing, and their home’s needs of clothes, food needs, and household appliances. Mrs. Amira Khafagy, who is in charge of liaison between the club and the association, distributed sweets and chocolates to the children and attendees, which added an atmosphere of joy and love among everyone. The members of the club also donated LE 15,000 (fifteen thousand pounds) to the account of the house on the occasion of the holly month of Ramadan, may God bring it back to everyone with goodness and blessings.

On Saturday the 12th of March 2022,
In fulfilment of the protocol agreed with the “Ahl Masr Association”, an amount of 63,000 Egyptian pounds was donated for the equipment of the intensive care room from Inner Wheel Alexandria Sporting Club’s members.

IWC of Gezira Sporting Club, Projects, 2022

On Friday, March 11th, 2022, IWC of Gezira  Sporting Club members headed by Mrs Wafaa Zaki organized a Bazaar at Gezira club garden on the occasion of Mother’s Day and the month of “Ramadan” .
Chairman of D 95 Egypt and Jordan Mrs Hala Hagrass attended the Bazaar and praised the idea of allowing the chance to women who support their family to increase their income by exposing and selling their products. Many thanks to all the participants to this event, the profits already went to the exhibitors and part of it to IWC of Gezira Club for organizing the event, to be used for completing the sustainable charity projects of the club and the new one for the year 2021/22

On March 5th, 2022, Chairman District 95 of Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Hala Hagrass and board of committee members , Mrs Laila Al Aswad BM at the IIW and some IWCs’ Presidents and members visited IWC of Tanta headed by Mrs. Amira Akef and IWC of Mansoura were headed by Mrs. Nagwa Kandil.
Presidents of IW clubs of Tanta and Al-Mansouriah presented their projects and exchanged best practices in social volunteer work in the fields of education, health care, children, people with special needs, and the elderly.
DC Mrs Hala Hagrass delivered an inspiring speech , thanked the members for their tremendous achievements, and pinned three new IW members at IWC of Tanta.
Everyone enjoyed the hospitality and took souvenir photos.

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean , Projects, 2022

On Saturday, March 5th, 2022, IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean headed by Mrs. Mona Abadir and club members visited the Future Hands Center, where it set up a charitable market in cooperation with the center to sell clothes and household items at low prices for the benefit of the Patient Care Fund. The club donated L.E. 20,000.00 pounds to this charitable project.

Under the patronage of Mrs. Hala Hagras, Chairman of D95 Egypt and Jordan and Eng. Yasser Nashat, Governor of Rotary District 2451, IWC of Sharm el Sheikh, headed by Mrs. Maha Ragab and the Cairo North Rotary Club, headed by Mrs. Manal Essa, held on Wednesday 2nd of March 2022, an educational seminar for the great banker Mr. Hisham Ezz el Arab, past Former Member of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Commercial International Bank-Egypt and the main founding partner of HE Advisory. The symposium was organized by Mrs. Nora Fayek, past president of IWC of Sharm el Sheikh, and also a member of the public image of Cairo North Rotary Club. In the distinguished presence of the ladies and gentlemen, members of the IW and Rotary clubs, our guest spoke about his many international banking experiences during more than forty years inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt. His Eminence preferred to answer all the attendees’ questions that indicated and reflected everyone’s interest in the global financial affairs in general and the economic situation & its impact on Egypt as well as the policy and performance of banks and the Egyptian Stock Exchange in particular. All the attendees praised the symposium and its topics and the distinguished meeting of Professor Hisham Ezz el Arab and his interest in explaining and answering everything that concerns the attendees with utmost transparency and clarity.
DG Eng. Yasser Nashat pinned Mr Hisham with an honorary membership pin at RC of Cairo North for one year.
The meeting was concluded with memorial photos and a promise of another meeting and continuous and fruitful cooperation between the IW Clubs and the Rotary Clubs to serve the community and to continue giving to those who deserve it.

IWC of Aalexandria , Projects, 2022

The Inner Wheel of Alexandria was headed by Dr. Amel El Ghitany held a celebration on Monday (March 7th) to mark the end of the club’s project “Economic Empowerment of Women.” The project achieves the general objectives of The Inner Wheel, especially since this year’s logo is “Women First.” The project was completed for three sessions from October 2021 to February 2022. The women and girls “28 women” were trained on the characters and professions required for the labour market at the moment. The project was in cooperation with the African Center for Women’s Health Services and was a permanent partner until the end of the three courses and represented the center Mrs/ Sherine Farag, Director of the Department of Women’s Development at the Center. In cooperation with the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Alexandria, the celebration was attended Mrs/ Laila Al-Qadi, Director of the Department of Women’s Affairs in the Directorate. Also, the Faculty of Quality Education at Alexandria University was a partner in training the ladies. We were honoured by the presence of Dr. Mona Moussa, Dean of the College, and Dr. Bahia Al-Akhreety, Undersecretary of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development. Also, the presence of the remaining implementation and training partners, Mrs/ Nasrin Jebali (Kiko Event Company) and Mrs/ Rania Ayad (Portal Training Academy). The celebration included presenting the project in detail and the developments of the various stages over a period of months. Then, we gave thanks and certificates of appreciation to all who participated. Some of the trainees presented their personal experience in front of the audience, and the certificates of attending the courses were handed to all the interns. We thank all those who contributed to this project, which we hope would have had a great impact on developing the role of women in society. May God count this as a good deed for us all.
