Inner Wheel Club D95

CD95 Mrs. Hala Hagrass accompanied by her Board Members  NR  Mrs. Iman El Bashari, VC Mrs. Afaf Maged, HS Ms. Mona Aboul Fotouh, and ISO Mrs. Reem Nazih, had her official visit  to Inner Wheel Club of El Tahrir headed by Mrs. Noha Maatouk .

The president reviewed the club’s 14 projects, and the donation paid for prosthetic limbs and wheelchairs for special needs people.

 Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha headed by Mrs. Omayma El Gharbi donated 213 blankets, quilts , food cartons and a cash amount to the winter campaign in cooperation with Misr El Kheir Foundation.

On December 15, 2021, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting , headed by Mrs. Reem Al-Milady, and in the presence of PPs Reem khalaf, Hala Ghaitani and colleague Manal Sultan

donating the preparation of 20 incapable brides in Aswan, at a total cost of 139 thousand Egyptian pounds, in a Nubian celebration to bring joy and happiness to them and their families.

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting headed by Mrs. Reem El-Melady organized a free medical convoy and comprehensive surgery for five days, starting from 13th to 17th of December 2021 in the City of Aswan at Kom Ombo Hospital with specialized doctors in all fields for the people of Aswan.

The convoy was organized by the club with the Leaders Social Association and Pharco Pharmaceutical Company and under the auspices of the “Good Life” Initiative and Aswan Governor Major General Ashraf Attia.

The convoy was accompanied by PPs Reem Khalaf, PPs Hala Ghitany and colleague Manal Sultan.

The club’s initiative to make the medical convoy included specializations in various fields, and a pharmacy was provided with all the necessary medicines and a laboratory to conduct the necessary analyzes.

A total of 2702 people were examined in the clinics in the following specialties:

– Opthalmology 950

– Dental 290

– Internal detection 275

– Surgerical 190

– Orthopedic 330

– Dermatology 232

– Pediatric 250

– Gynecology 185

385 people were medically analyzed to prepare them for operations.

Operations were performed for patients free of charge as follows:

– 193 cataract surgeries.

– 45 general surgeries, including two laparoscopic removal of the gallbladder and fetora surgery.

1230 medical prescriptions were spent on patients.

The total donations for the medical convoy were 460,000 Egyptian pounds.

Inner Wheel Club of Garden City Club, headed by President Azza Selim, made a trip to the city of Alexandria to stimulate domestic tourism on December 11th and 12th 2021.

The IW members visited the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Jewelery Palace, and the Qaitbay Citadel. During the trip, we were invited to the Umm al-Dunya Association by our colleague Sarah Salah Sorour, Director of Public Relations in the office of Mr. Mostafa El-Feki, Director of the Library of Alexandria, and a member of the Egyptian Yacht Club’s board of directors.

Guest were Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, Eng. Auf Hammam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Umm Al-Dunya Association, and former Governor Nadia Abdo, and after that dinner was held at the Yacht Club.

 CD95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Hala Hagrass, held an official visit to Inner Wheel Club of Giza headed by Mrs. Enas Al-Imam and the club’s members at El-Gazira Sporting Club.

The president of the club presented the most important voluntary and charitable projects this year which are as follows:-

1. Completing the payment of school fees for students who are unable to pay their fees in various educational stages at Al-Sayeda Khadega School and Al-Orman Primary and Preparatory Schools.

2. A number of school bags and shoes were distributed to orphans, and winter clothes were purchased for some students as well.

3. A heart surgical fees were paid  to Abou El Reich Hospital for a five-year-old girl from New Valley.

She also referred to a new project, which is purchasing sewing machines to help women with no income to support their families.

At the end of the meeting, CD95 Hala Hagrass, thanked the members for their projects that spread happiness on the faces of the less fortunate people.

 Members of Inner Wheel Club of Petra, headed by Mrs. Lynne Farraj, made a cash donation to the Orphan Care Center in the Church of “Our Lady of the Mountain” in the town of Anjara who supports  and cares for  approximately 35 children, males and females of age 1 month to 18 years old.

This donation will cover a part of their clothing, food and education.

The Pastor of the Church, “Our Lady of the Mountain”, Father Youssef Francis, thanked  IWC of Petra members for their generous donation, and wished everyone a glorious Christmas and a year full of blessings.
