On Thursday (February 21st), Inner Wheel Club Garden City, headed by Mrs. Nehad Badawy and attended by Mrs. Wafaa Younis, Mrs. Effat Fawaz, Mrs. Amal Al Ghamry and Mrs. Dedy Al Sourany, visited Om Hany’s Nursing House in Imbaba. Which is one of the club’s sustainable projects to distribute bed sheets they requested and the food they need. It was a wonderful visit and we were happy to meet all the ladies who welcomed us with all love and generosity which is under Inner Wheel theme for this year “Taking Care of Women”

On 19/2/2019, Chairman of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan Mrs. Dina Gharab, paid a work visit accompanied by Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti, Honorary Secretary to Inner Wheel Club of Al-Jazira Sports Club. It was a fruitful meeting where the members listened and benefited from Ms. Dina’s 30 years of work experience in the field of working in IWCs, its origins, provisions of its Constitution, and the directives of the current and upcoming work … The meeting was full of harmony & love.

On Monday, 2 November 2019 in Syrian Club in Alexandria, members of Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria celebrated Alexandria 48th Founding Anniversary of Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria founded in 1971 (the second Inner Wheel Club in the 95 District of Egypt & Jordan) with its twin Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria East in an atmosphere full of love and friendship, which is one of Inner Wheel International main goals.

We’re honored with the presence of Inner Wheel District 95 Egypt & Jordon board of directors.

The ceremony started with Egypt’s National Anthem. Followed by a speech by Mrs. Rawda Al-Shazly, the club’s chairman, about the establishment of the club and its founders Mrs. Samira Al-Alaily, Mrs. Fareeda Kamel, Mrs. Huda Abdel Hadi Al-Deeb, and about former chairmen and their role in social work and community service in Alexandria.

Then, Mrs. Hoda Abdel Hadi El-Deeb, one of the founders of the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria, and Mrs. Sherifa Saqr gave a welcoming speech.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, a small charitable market was held where Egypt’s Society for Culture Association and Development and Life for All Association were hosted.

Wednesday, 23 January 2019, Inner Wheel of Club Giza headed by Mrs. Lobna Al Koumy made a Nile trip followed by a lunch at the Happy Dolphin Boat in Manial.

The day was enjoyable and full of friendship and harmony among the club members.

On 22 January 2018, Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek headed with Mrs. Maali El Gemeay visited the new Egyptian Museum in the presence of National Delegate, Mrs. Lalia Al-Aswad, and former regional presidents Mrs. Samia Abul-Fotouh, Mrs. Nelly Helmy and members of the board of directors Mrs. Salwa Zaki, Mrs. Sanaa Abd, Mrs Hoda Malsh, Mrs. Madiha Mohi Eddin, Mrs. Hasna Reyad and Mrs. Bahia El-Maadawy. The museum has been built and monuments has been restored by Egyptian hands and we were impressed by what we have seen and it is a great tribute to what has been pride for us and will be officially opened in 2020 and after that the members had launch Andrea Restaurant where they spent a wonderful time in a wonderful atmosphere. On 22 January 2019 at Pasha Boat, members of Inner Wheel Club of Cairo, headed by Mrs. Laila Khaled, and in the presence of Mrs. Dina Ghorab, President of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan. With an invitation of the Stop HCV team, one of the President Abdel Fatah El-SiSi’s initiatives to stop hepatitis C. The team carried out hepatitis C tests, blood sugar level tests and blood pressure tests for members of IWCs in Cairo and Sharm el-Sheikh, as well as employees of Pasha Boat.

 

This was followed by a meeting for Inner Wheel Club of Cairo members with Dr. Suheir Zaki Hawas, Professor of Architecture and Urban Design, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, responsible for the development of Cairo Khedive. Everyone enjoyed an interesting talk about the architectural heritage of Cairo and the efforts exerted to maintain and develop Cairo’s Khedive buildings.

On January 20, Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Abeer Ezzat, held a seminar for the lead actors of Last Chance for Love series on Pasha Boat compound in Zamalek.

The seminar was attended by the actor leads of the series, actress Dalia El-Beheiry, Firas Saeed, Heba El-Abasiri, Ahmed Abd Allah Mallah, Sabah Gameel, Writer Shahira Salam, and Director Manal El-Sefy.

The seminar was attended by Mrs. Dina Ghorab, President of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan, and members of the Board of Directors Mrs. Iman Al-Bishari, Deputy Delegate, Mrs. Kamla Tawfik, Treasurer, and Mrs. Mona Al-Ghali, International Organizer.

Members of IWC of Sphinx were present Mrs. Omeima Ezzat, Vice President, Mrs. Amany Ezzat, Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Nadia Annan, Treasurer, Mrs. Hanan Azmi, Mrs. Enas Mugahid, Bulletin Editor and other members.

It was a light-hearted seminar which was enjoyed by IWCs team and staff who were respectful, spontaneous and loving.

On February 18, 2019 at the Syrian Club in Alexandria, members of Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria under the chairmanship of Mrs. Rawda Al-Shazly hosted the journalist Bilal Al-Dawy.

A joint seminar was held with Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting headed by Mrs. Ghada Fadel in the presence of Mrs. Samia Hatata, former chairman of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan.

The writer told us about women’s role in crises … Members also gave a copy of his book the writing of “State Security” and signed them.

Inner Wheel Club of Cairo, headed by Mrs. Laila Khaled, held its annual ceremony on Tuesday 16 February at Safir Hotel. We were honored by the presence of the National Delegate of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan Mrs. Laila El-Aswad, Deputy National Delegate Mrs. Iman El-Bashary, Mrs. Dina Ghorab Chairman of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordon and Mrs. Mona El-Ghamiee International Organizer. The event was attended by members of Inner Wheel Club of Cairo and other ladies of the community and many of the former chairmen and members of Inner Wheel Clubs. The ceremony included a Mazoura fashion show and a Bazaar. The ceremony outcomes will go to the club’s charitable projects.
