Support for Disabled Orphans at Dar Al-Qods Orphanage

On April 6, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”  IWC members  of Altahrir visited Dar Al-Qods Orphanage for children with special needs.

As part of their ongoing commit
ment to making a meaningful impact, a donation of EGP 35,000 was made to fund CT scans and necessary tests for children suffering from epilepsy, as well as for other children who have undergone brain surgeries and require regular tests and CT scans every three months. The orphanage is home to 48 disabled orphans, providing them with essential care and support.

This donation will go a long way in assisting the medical needs of these children, helping improve their health and overall well-being.

Providing Hope to Leprosy Patients

On Thursday, March 6, 2025, under the inspiring thene “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, led by Mrs. Amal Galal Ezzat, demonstrated a profound act of compassion and support. The club provided two below-the-knee prosthetic limbs for two leprosy patients at the Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy Hospital in Tanta.

This charitable initiative, totaling 40,000 EGP, reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to community service and improving the lives of the most vulnerable.

Distribution of Ramadan Grants to Support the Community

Total Sum: EGP 74,000
On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” members of the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, led by Mrs. Amal Galal Ezzat, visited the Directorate of Social Affairs to distribute Ramadan grants to seasonal workers, with a total contribution of EGP 9,300.
This initiative is part of the club’s broader commitment to social responsibility, bringing the total Ramadan grants provided to EGP 74,000, distributed as follows:
Al-Noor Institute for the Blind: 152 grants totaling EGP 45,300.
Seasonal workers at the Faculty of Agriculture: 55 grants totaling EGP 16,500.
Directorate of Social Affairs: 31 grants totaling EGP 9,300.
Families of female breadwinners: 13 grants totaling EGP 3,900.
Through these efforts, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta reaffirms its dedication to uplifting communities, spreading kindness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need.

Meals Distributed to Needy Families

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel  Club of  Alexandria Mediterranean, led by Heba Abul Nasr, distributed 150 hot meals to the most vulnerable families at the Canal Martyrs Association for Development. The initiative brought joy to widows and female breadwinners, offering them the comfort of a warm, nourishing meal for their families.

A Heartwarming Ramadan Iftar Initiative

As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end and in adherence to this year’s theme, ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of Giza Ahram, led by Mrs. Eman Salim, has continued its commitment to one of its sustainable projects.

In a spirit of generosity, the club distributed 136 Ramadan food packages at Mashabek Youth Center, as well as to staff members of Al-Wahda and Khalid Ibn Al-Walid schools in the Kerdasa area, and workers at Cairo Yacht Club.

As part of its annual tradition, the club also contributed to an Iftar gathering for orphans at Mashabek Center and distributed 1,185 Iftar meals to fasting individuals at Qasr Al-Aini Hospital, Baheya Hospital, as well as to those in need in Kerdasa and various areas across Greater Cairo. This entire initiative was made possible through the generous donations of the club’s members—may they be rewarded for their kindness.

Supporting Eye Health for Children with Cataracts, Glaucoma, and Cancer

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” members of the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital, led by Dr. Suzan Darwish and Honorary Secretary Dr. Ola Owais, visited the Pediatric Ophthalmology Center (Alexandria Children’s Eye Association), affiliated with the Alexandria Faculty of Medicine.
As part of this humanitarian initiative, the club generously donated a check to fund essential eye surgeries for underprivileged children, giving them the chance to regain their sight and improve their quality of life.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nihal El Shakankiry, club members toured the facility, visiting various departments, including the reception hall, operating rooms, recovery units, and patient wards. To brighten the children’s spirits during this holy month, they also distributed gifts and toys, bringing joy and comfort to their young hearts.The project’s objective was to provide essential support for children suffering from eye conditions, ensuring they have the opportunity to live healthy and fulfilling lives.

Blind Care Project Beneficiaries 100 Families

Celebrating Orphans’ Day with Love and Care

Under the inspiring theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of East Alexandria embraced the spirit of compassion and inclusion by celebrating Orphans’ Day with a heartfelt visit to El Hayaa Lilgamee Association for Intellectual Disabilities and Orphans.

On Sunday, March 23, 2025, Club President Mrs. Magda Sallam, alongside Club Secretary Nevine Shehayeb and Treasurer Jailan Mokhtar, spent a memorable evening with 30 resident children—young souls who have called this home their refuge since early childhood, having no other shelter.

This visit, held during April’s Orphans’ Month, aimed to uplift spirits and bring warmth to the children’s hearts. As part of this meaningful initiative, club members shared a special Ramadan Iftar with the children, fostering a deep sense of love, care, and belonging.

The evening came alive with music, dancing, and heartfelt laughter, as the children embraced the celebration with pure joy, expressing their happiness in the most touching ways.

This act of kindness left a lasting impact, reinforcing the club’s unwavering commitment to nurturing hope, spreading joy, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Spreading Eid Joy to Children of Social Care Home.

Under the theme ” – The Heartbeat of Humanity,” Inner Wheel Alexandria Mediterranean, led by Heba Abou El-Nasr, distributed complete Eid outfits and shoes to the children of the Social Care Home in Quesna, Monufia Governorate.

This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to reaching the most underserved areas, which are often overlooked by civil society and rarely receive aid. During the visit, the children, overwhelmed with joy over their new Eid clothes, curiously asked, “What is Inner Wheel? What does it do? What does this emblem mean?”

Amid their excitement, they expressed their gratitude and made a heartfelt request: “Please don’t forget us—come back again!”
