 Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Cleopatra, led by Mrs. Soheir Fahmy and
Honorary Secretary Mrs. Doaa Hamdy visited Alexandria University
Hospital (El-Miri Hospital) on December 25, 2024, to support a critical
case of a patient suffering from immune deficiency.

The required medications were purchased and delivered to the hospital,
where the medical team welcomed us, including
Dr. Sara Nawar,Dr. Dalia Nafeh, Haematology Specialist and Dr. Mostafa
Mabrouk, Vascular Specialist.The club has committed to maintaining
regular visits to the hospital and ensuring the provision of necessary
medications for those in need.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024
Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, IWC of Alexandria, led by Mrs.
Mona El Hakim and accompanied by Dr. Mervat El Azzouni, Vice Chairman of
District 95, paid a heartfelt visit to the Pediatric Oncology Center at
Borg El Arab University Hospital. The delegation was warmly welcomed by
the hospital’s director, Dr. Sherif El Zawawy.

Demonstrating their unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, the
club generously donated 220,000 L.E. to support the purchasing of
life-saving chemotherapy treatments for children battling cancer,
particularly those unable to afford such critical care.

The visit also included a guided tour of the hospital’s newly
established radiotherapy department, reflecting the institution’s
dedication to advancing cancer treatment and care.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the International Women’s
Club (IWC) of Alexandria Capital, led by Prof. Dr. Suzan Darwish and
Honorary Secretary Dr. Ola Ewais, launched a heartfelt winter aid
initiative.

As part of their ongoing commitment to community support, the club
distributed 155 winter blankets to some of the most underprivileged
communities in Alexandria. The recipients included:

1. Residents of Al-Tabiya Area (Ezbet Nashaat and Ezbet El-Bahr),

2. Daughters of Light Association Shelter, which supports the blind and
promotes community development

A Day of Love and Care :

Under the theme “Heart Beat of Humanity: On 18 December 2024, Inner
Wheel Club of Amman presided by Ms Fadia Yared and Committee Members,
visited the ” Dar Al-Salam Elderly Care Association” The purpose of
this visit was to show love, care and spend quality time with the
residents.

We were warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival.Smiles lit up the faces
of the elderly, who showed great enthusiasm for the visitors’
presence. We made a tour in the home, and some of the elderly shared
heart-warming stories about their lives, offering wisdom and lessons
that deeply resonated with everyone present. One of the elderly
residents played the drum while we sang and danced together for
everyone. It was a joyful and heartwarming moment that brought joy to
the residents. The Red Noses team who visit the center every now and
then, where they make a tour around and amuse the elderly creating a
lively and cheerful atmosphere.
We handed over several cartons of adult diapers, essential food items
such as rice, sugar, milk, honey, jam, various beans, vegetable & olive
oil, Tuna, sardines, sausages, olives, cheeses, cupcakes, biscuits,
Etc., as well as toiletries like soap. These items were received with
immense gratitude by the staff, who explained how much these provisions
would ease the challenges of caring for the elderly.

Upon departure, the staff expressed their heartfelt appreciation, not
just for the provisions but for the time and effort spent in making the
elderly feel loved and valued.

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, Inner wheel Club of Damanhour delivered
several adult diaper packs, essential for cancer patients in intensive
care, as well as two wheelchairs to assist with their mobility within
the Damanhour Oncology Institute. These items aim to ease patient
transitions between examination rooms and radiation or chemotherapy
sessions.

This initiative was made possible through the contributions of
Innerwheel Damanhour Club members and anonymous donors who preferred to
remain unnamed.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this noble humanitarian effort.
May God protect us all from illnesses and bless you with health and
wellness.

under the leadership of Mrs. Heba El Kady. Distributing 270 blankets to
families in Alexandria and Upper Egypt aligns perfectly with the club’s
principals of being the “heartbeat of humanity.” Such actions truly
embody the spirit of compassion and community service, especially during
the winter season when these blankets can make a significant difference
in the lives of those in need.

As part of its noble humanitarian and social mission, Inner Wheel Club
of Giza, under the distinguished leadership of Mrs. Mona Gomaiy
organized a visit to the “Ebnty” Association for Orphans’ Girls Care on
Sunday, December 15, 2024. This meaningful initiative was graciously
hosted by board members, Mrs. Magda Azzam and Mrs. Jeanine Doss.

The visit was marked by generous contributions from the club, including
the donation of blankets and clothing, as well as financial aid to cover
the educational expenses of two girls supported by the association.
Furthermore, the club contributed 24,000 EGP towards the preparation of
two brides. During their visit, members also toured the association to
admire the handcrafted creations made by the girls, showcasing the
remarkable efforts dedicated to empowering and uplifting them.

The delegation was warmly received by the girls of the association, and
the visit unfolded in a heartwarming atmosphere filled with joy,
compassion, and meaningful connections. Held under the inspiring theme
“Heartbeat of Humanity,” this initiative reaffirms the club’s
unwavering commitment to its humanitarian mission and its vital role in
serving the community.

This exceptional endeavour reflects the club’s dedication to fostering
solidarity, empowering young women, and upholding the highest values of
generosity, kindness, and social responsibility.

Charitable Clothing Exhibition

On Monday, December 10, 2024, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
Inner Wheel Club (IWE-C) of New Cairo, led by Ms. Lina Shaker joined
forces with IWC of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona El-Gemaiee, and IWC of
Tahrir, headed by Mrs. Sahar Gadallah, to organize a charitable
exhibition of new and gently used clothing.

The event, held at the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, aimed
to support students and staff in need. It was inaugurated by Dr. Ghad
Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University, and Mrs. Hanaa El
Sadaat,District 95 Vice Chairman .The exhibition featured a wide range
of clothing and footwear at affordable prices, and all proceeds were
directed to the university’s Social Solidarity Fund to assist
underprivileged students.

On Monday, December 23, 2024, Inner Wheel Club of West Cairo , under the
leadership of Mrs. Nadia El Rashidi, Vice President Mrs. Olivia Reda,
Treasurer Dr. Zeinab El Ghazaly, and Organizer Mrs. Soheir Shams visited
the Al-Taarof Association for Elderly Care.

During the visit, the club presented a cheque to dedicate a room in the
name of Innerwheel West Cairo Club. An agreement was made to fully
renovate the room and equip it with the necessary devices, ensuring it
remains permanently associated with the club. The cheque was received by
Mrs. Nadia El Kateb, one of the association’s founders, in the presence
of several association members.

Additionally, the club donated an electric wheelchair to the home to
support its elderly residents. The administration expressed heartfelt
gratitude to the club members for their generosity and support.

On Monday, December 23, 2024, Innerwheel Club of Alexandria Sporting led
by Mrs. Amani Sleem, alongside Honorary Secretary Hala El-Ghitani,
Treasurer Ghada Fadel, and members Shahenda Sharaf El-Din, Heba Magdy,
and Randa Abdel-Aty, presented a cheque of 60,000 EGP to Safia Gamai
Association, headed by Engy Nasr El-Din, to support families of leprosy
patients. Additionally, a second cheque of 20,000 EGP was donated to
sponsor and care for orphans.

These contributions reflect the club’s ongoing commitment to sustainable
projects.
