Empowering Women Through Literacy: Inner Wheel Lotus Egypt’s
Initiative in Al-Asmarat

Inner Wheel Lotus Egypt Club, led by Maha Khairy, launched an initiative
to support education in the Al-Asmarat neighbourhood. The initiative
included sponsoring 4 literacy classes for women in collaboration with
the Farouk El-Baz Foundation for Building Tomorrow’s Scientists.

Additionally, the initiative supported a class for the children of the
women attending the literacy courses, ensuring they could continue their
education without hindrance. The total cost of the initiative amounted
to 20,000 EGP, reflecting the club’s commitment to education and women’s
empowerment in the community.

“Dafa Campaign: Distribution of 300 Blankets to Support Needy Families”

As part of the “Dafa” campaign to protect the underprivileged from the
cold of winter, on Thursday, January 9, 2025, the Inner Wheel Sporting
Club, under the leadership of President Amani Selim, Honorary Secretary
Hala El-Ghitany, and club member Dina Makki, distributed 170 blankets in
the Al-Awaid area and 40 blankets to brides in the Abis area.

This brings the total number of blankets distributed by the club this
winter to 300, provided to the most needy families, reflecting their
noble humanitarian mission and spirit of solidarity and generosity.

Under the theme of “Heartbeat of Humanity,” and in an effort to
alleviate the suffering of children, IWC of Garden City , led by Didi
Al-Sourani, made a generous donation of 15,000 Egyptian pounds to
Hospital 57357. This donation is part of the club’s ongoing sustainable
projects, reflecting its unwavering commitment to supporting children’s
health and well-being.

Orphan care project

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, under the theme“ Heartbeat of
Humanity,” Mrs. Mona Gomaa, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Giza,
and Mrs. Hala Hagras, former Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan,
accompanied by members of the Giza Club, visited the Fustat Home for
Boys. The visit included spending enjoyable time with the children of
the home and presenting them with gifts. Additionally, the club made a
donation of 20,000 Egyptian pounds to support the home

Health Care Project (Donation to Cancer Hospital)
A Step Towards Healing

On January 10, 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Al-Nozha, under
the leadership of Mrs. Heba El-Qadi, made a significant contribution to
Ayadi Al-Mustaqbal Cancer Hospital. The club donated essential
medications and three advanced chemotherapy pumps to support the
hospital’s mission of providing high-quality care to cancer patients.
This initiative exemplifies the club’s steadfast commitment to
community service and its dedication to alleviating the suffering of
those in need.

Equipping a hospital with a vital medical device(ventilator)

In recognition of the importance of medical devices in the healthcare
sector and the challenges faced by university hospitals due to a
shortage of critical equipment that impacts human health and lives, and
in alignment with the theme of the IW Year “ Heartbeat of Humanity,”
Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria El-Nozha, led by Mrs. Heba El-Kady
delivered a ventilator to the ICU of El-Hadra University Hospital for
Orthopaedics (Nariman Hospital) on December 25, 2024.

This initiative highlights the club’s dedication to supporting the
healthcare system and enhancing patient care.

In recognition of the importance of medical devices in the healthcare
sector and the challenges faced by university hospitals due to a
shortage of critical equipment that impacts human health and lives, and
in alignment with the theme of the IW Year “ Heartbeat of Humanity,”
Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria El-Nozha, led by Mrs. Heba El-Kady
delivered a ventilator to the ICU of El-Hadra University Hospital for
Orthopaedics (Nariman Hospital) on December 25, 2024.

This initiative highlights the club’s dedication to supporting the
healthcare system and enhancing patient care.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, and as part of the
contributions of Innerwheel Club of Alexandria East to support the
treatment of underprivileged cancer patients by purchasing medicines and
donating them to the centers that provide free cancer care, the club,
headed by Mrs. Magda Sallam, along with several esteemed members,
visited Ayady El Mostakbal Hospital 4040 on Wednesday, December 18,
2024.

The purpose of the visit was to deliver essential medicines required by
the hospital to treat its patients free of charge.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. General Amr Abbasi, the General
Manager of the hospital, who accompanied them on a tour of all the
hospital’s departments. The visitors expressed their admiration for
the advanced facilities and the remarkable progress of the hospital.

essential medicines on December 24 to Borg El Arab University Hospital
for Children with Cancer, addressing a critical need of the hospital.
