On Monday 27th of February 2023, the IWC of Alexandria delivered a donation to the Egyptian Red Crescent for the victims of the Syrian earthquake.
The club also handed over the donation check to make water connections for areas deprived of clean drinking water at the Alexandria Drinking Water Company.
On January 18, the ladies of IWC El Nile contributed to bridal necessities of two orphan brides by donating 2 blankets, 2 covers, 8 sets of sheets and 2 sets of towels
Under the slogan “Work Wonders “, the ladies of the IWC of El Nile, visited, on January 16, the illiteracy education project in the village of Abu Nomros, Giza Governorate, as it is one of the club’s sustainable projects to follow up on the classes of the 2021-2022 session, as part of the activities of the protocol signed between the club and the Egyptian General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education. One session consists of five classes, 104 women enroll in them. Thankfully, 95 women have succeeded. Certificates and gifts were distributed from the club in the presence of Mrs. Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Head of the Adult Education Department in Giza, and Mrs. Amal Pasha, President of the El Nile Club, with the organizing committee
The IWC of Nile donated the costs of Atrial Septal Defect for a 5-year-old child in Abu El Rish Hospital. On February 8,2023 at Abu El Rish Hospital. The club members donated the operation in full.
IWC of Mansoura headed by Mrs. Basma Saleh, visited El Mansoura University Hospitals on February 21,2023. They were received by Prof. Dr. El Shaarawy Kamal Moussa, General Director of the Hospital
IW members donated a Surgical diathermy machine to the hospital.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Shaarawy accompanied them to the recently inaugurated departments in the hospital.
On Saturday, February 18th, 2023, under the slogan of ‘Work Wonders’, the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo headed by Vice President Lina Shaker and members of the club held an exciting yoga session led by @flowwithjenane who gracefully donated her share to the club. Through every breath, pose, and om we helped raise funds for children of special needs at ‘Friends of A Better Future Association’.
Today, February 21, 2.23, Inner Wheel Club of Al-Shorouk headed by Mrs. Tatou El Menaiwy made a donation to the victims of the Syrian earthquake, through the Egyptian Red Crescent , they also donate 45 cartons of infant formula
Under the slogan ‘Work Wonder’ and to help to rescue Syrian people in the disaster of the earthquake and the heavy losses that resulted to the Syrian people especially in the bad conditions and the extreme cold, and based on the invitation of Mrs. Nora Fayek, Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan to help in rescuing The Syrian and Turkish people.
The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City donated a cheque to purchase tents and mattresses to help shelter, and 32 cartons of new winter clothes to protect people from the harshness of the cold.
The donations took place on February 20, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Red Crescent
Inner Wheel Petra Club, headed by Mrs. Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, collected donations for the relief of victims affected by the earthquake. Tens of thousands have lost their lives, with countless more injured in Turkey and Syria.
A friend of the club distributed food parcels, and infant formula herself to the victims in the city of Aleppo. She also paid for two eye operations for two inmates of the blind centre in the affected area. Their condition was severe, and the two operations saved their sight.
In addition, a three-story building was rented and the process of strengthening its walls and ceilings began, in order to accommodate those affected by the earthquake.
In continuation of the support provided by the Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis to “Ahl Misr Hospital” for Burns (One of the sustainable club projects of the club)
IWC of Heliopolis donated a cheque to the hospital to purchase a suction device for blood and fluids from the patients ( Aspirator)
