IWC of Zamalek an Agreement of Cooperation was made with IWC of Patras

In a friendly atmosphere full of happiness and love and in fulfilling one of the major goals of Inner Wheel, which is Friendship, the Inner Wheel club of Zamalek presided by Hoda Malash and in the presence of Ms. Nora Fayek District 95 Chairman an agreement for cooperation was made with Inner Wheel club of Patras represented by the vice president Sophia Poula and few members of the club in different fields. They exchanged flags and few symbolic presents. The meeting took place in the new Egyptian Grand Museum and the guests were extremely impressed and happy for being in such great edifice.

IWC of Sphinx Held a Clothing Charity Bazaar at the Faculty of Music Foundation

The Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, held the second charity clothing Bazar for this year On Sunday , 12 march 2023 at the Faculty of Music Education in Zamalek for the benefit of students who are unable to pay tuition fees.  The donation amount is 10,000 pounds .  All thanks to those who contributed in the success of the Bazar

The Inner Wheel Club of Cairo North under the presidency of Perry Taher, donated a cheque to the Cancer Children’s Hospital 57357 on Sunday the 5th March.

The Club has a room, ensures a yearly donation to the Hospital, since it is considered a sustainable project for the Club

Based on the initiative of D95 Egypt & Jordan. IWC of Cairo South, made a donation for the benefits of the Syrian earthquake victims. Mrs. Ashnadelle Helmi Mortagy and Souad El Damlawi handed over the check to the Egyptian Red Crescent in the presence of the financial and administrative Director Mohamed Mamdouh, and Mrs. Sylvia Simonian, director of the Marketing Department on Saturday March 5, 2023.

IWC of Alexandria El Nozha Held a Seminar for a Consultant Dermatologist

On Monday, February 27, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria, El-Nozha, headed by Mrs. Sarah Saad, held a symposium for Dr Doha El-Nogomy, a consultant dermatologist, cosmetic therapist, and laser.

The doctor spoke about skin and hair care in scientific ways and the use of modern medical and scientific technologies.

Therefore, the seminar was useful and interesting for the audience.

On Thursday, the 23rd of February, The Inner Wheel club of Giza pyramids, headed by Mrs. Nadia Mansour, donated a sum of money to the Egyptian Red crescent for the benefit of the Syrian earthquake victims.

IWC of Amman visited the King Hussein Foundation’s Family Health Foundation’s Family Health Institute in Sweileh

To mark International Women’s Day, in line with IWC of Amman’s commitment to improving the status of women, and for the second year running, Mrs. Vivian Anz Qaqish President of the Club accompanied by members of the committee visited the King Hussein Foundation’s Family Health Institute in Sweileh on 1st March 2023 and gave a donation on behalf of the Club to cover the costs of fifty cervical smear tests for women who live in marginalized areas that the Institute serve.

Among the principles adopted by the Institute is “leaving no one behind” and providing services in response to the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities. The Institute provides its services to families and individuals in need throughout their life cycle. It is committed to empowering and supporting women, as the percentage of women employees in the Institute is 75%.

We hope that the forthcoming Club committees continue this tradition and maintain the annual donation to the Family Health Institute due to the importance of sustainably supporting women’s health, especially in marginalized areas

IWC of Petra handed over a donation to the Jordan Education for Women Empowerment and Learning Society (JEWELS)

On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Mrs. Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Petra handed over a cash donation to Mrs. Taima’a Kawar, the President of the Jordan Education for Women Empowerment and Learning Society (JEWELS) , as an education tuition of an outstanding university student.
