IWC of Amman Philadelphia visited the Center of ‘Peace Lady for the Disabled

Inner Wheel club of Amman Philadelphia, coinciding with the international day of the disabled persons on December the 3rd, paid a visit to the center of ‘Peace Lady for the Disabled’ on December the 7th presided by Mrs. Duha Bushnaq Abdulhadi and a group of her administrative committee.

The director of the center father Dr Shawqi gave an overview of the history of the establishment of the center and the services it gives to autistic children, the children with speech impairment, children with down-syndrome and the replacement of artificial limps manufactured locally by those in charge of this center.

We were then taken on a tour around the different parts of the center where we visited the church ‘ The Good Shepherd’ with its beautiful walls ornament murals, each saying a religious anecdote.

We also visited a small local chocolate factory made with love called ‘ Peace’.

After the tour we joined the children and distributed small presents and some cookies, we enjoyed reaching out to them by playing some music, we took souvenir pictures with them as well as with their dignified staff.

The center serves disabled children from the age of six till sixteen.

At the end of the visit Mrs Duha donated a sum of money and the director in his turn thanked the club president and her committee for this merciful gesture in sharing these happy and blessed times with the children that are less fortunate.

Today, Saturday, December 3, 2022, IWC of El Mansoura delivered foodstuffs and cleaning materials to the Elderly Foundation in Nabarwa

IWC of Giza incurred the total cost of a pediatric cardiac operation for a little girl and A number of blankets, food and beverages were supplied to the Green Sunbulah shelter

In continuation of the course of charity and voluntary work, which is one of the most important goals of the Inner Wheel Club of Giza, the club incurred the total cost of a pediatric cardiac operation for a little girl, with a pacemaker installed on November 23, 2022.

Prof. Dr. Amal El-Sisi successfully performed the surgery at Abu El-Rish Hospital.

A number of blankets, food, and beverages were supplied to the Green Sunbulah shelter.

Thanks, and appreciation to Mrs. Janine Doss, President of the IWC of Giza, Dr. Amal El-Sisi, Mrs. Enas Al-Imam, Mrs. Olfat Zaki, Mrs. Mona Jumeli, and Dr. Noha Moussa for visiting the shelter and to everyone who contributed and participated in achieving these two great tasks.

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean held a Charity Exhibition for the students on the faculty of science

Due to their interest in education projects and their importance in society.

On, Monday, November 27, 2021, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean held a Charity Exhibition for the students, on the campus of the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University.

The club offered new clothes to the Bazaar. There was a group of exhibitors, and the funds raised from the exhibition were allocated as a contribution to the expenses of students who are in need.

 

The opening was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Vice Deans, the president of the club, and club members. The Dean handed over a certificate of appreciation to the club.

On Sunday, November 27, 2022 IWC of Sphinx, headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy held a charity clothing exhibition at the Faculty of Music Education  (Zamalek )for the defaulter’s Students who are unable to pay their tuition fees

The Inauguration of the Physiotherapy room as a part of the medical center at Ghaza Refugee Camp in Jerah By IWC of Amman Philadelphia

Under the auspices of Mrs. Duha Bushnaq Abdulhadi, the president of IWC of Amman Philadelphia and her administrative committee, the inauguration of the physiotherapy and medical treatment center took place today, November 29, 2022, at Gaza Refugee Camp in Jerash.

A welcoming reception took place by Mrs. Maha Saqqa, the executive director of Palestinian medical aid, and Dr. Zahira Awad the director of the refugee medical centers.

The specialized therapist gave a detailed explanation about each medical device and how to benefit from it.

This physiotherapy room is part of the camp medical center which serves 37 thousand people. The room is equipped with everything that is needed for physiotherapies such as therapeutic mattresses, crutches, muscle strengthening devices, a shoulder wheel, a wall ladder, a standing assistive device, a treadmill, sand weights, infrared rays, swivel chairs for the clinic and a curtain.

Afterward, Mrs. Saqqa presented a thank you medal to IWC of Amman Philadelphia which was received by Mrs. Abdulhad.

IWC of Zamalek handed a cheque to El Nass Hospital to perform a heart operation for one child

To rescue a child is one of the most precious blessings. Today November 30 Mrs. Hoda Malash president of IWC of  Zamalek handed a cheque to El Nass hospital as a donation to undergo a heart operation for one child from a long waiting list of ill poor children.

This operation is the second one for this year as per the protocol signed between the club and the hospital to pay for 2 operations a year.

God bless everyone who participated to rescue a child.

IWC of Zamalek Planted a tree in girls ‘orphanage In Old Egypt

On Thursday, November 25, Mrs. Hoda Malash President of the IWC of Zamalek together with some club members paid a visit to the girls ‘orphanage located in old Cairo where they planted a tree and this is upon the Call PLANT a TREE of Mrs. Nora Fayek District 95 Chairman and in compliance with COP 27 in Sharm El Sheikh.

This orphanage is one of the main projects supervised by our club for more than 30 years so it was in fact a visit of teaching the girls the importance of greenery and at the same time spend a few hours with them to give them some joy and happiness and check on their needs. It is important to mention that these girls are not only orphans, but they are also mentally disabled.

On Monday the 21st of November,

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Sporting headed by Mrs. Rania sherif Bayoumi went to “El-Shaheed Mohamed Mahmoud School” in Bashayer El Khair.

The campaign targeted more than 2500 students for early eyesight detection.  They provided eye glasses for students with weak sight and operations for those who were stated cataract . A donation was given from IWC of Alexandria Sporting to help these students.

Inner Wheel Club of Petra accompanied orphaned children to the mall to pick up their winter clothes

On Saturday November 19, 2022,

the Inner Wheel Club of Petra accompanied 50 orphaned children to the mall to pick up their winter clothes.

The club president, Mona Hamzeh Abu Al-Ragheb, accompanied by the club’s secretary, Lina Al-Husseini, and treasurer Mai Al-Masry, paid the full cost of clothes from the donations given by the members of Inner Wheel Petra Club, may God reward them with all goodness and blessings.

The club also sponsored the payment of lunch meals for the children to eat in the restaurant located in the mall, after they had spent an enjoyable time in the games area, the cost of the games tickets was also paid by the club member
