On January 4, 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Garden City, headed by Didi
Al-Sourani, presented a financial donation to leprosy patients. The
amount was received by an official from the hospital, who was grateful
for this donation and stressed the need to take into account the leprosy
colony because it is in dire need of donations
On Thursday 29th December 2022
The members of the IWC of Alexandria headed by Mona El Hakim visited Borg El Arab University Hospital Pediatric Oncology Center to donate a check to the hospital manager Dr Shady Fadel for medications for the children cancer patients.
Then Dr Mohamed Zahran the Executive Director of the Alexandria Pediatric Oncology Charity Organization gave us a presentation about the hospital founding and it’s development plan to be fulfilled by 2030.
The members also inspected the room currently designated for art therapy for children cancer patients, their families, doctors, nurses and hospital staff.
Dr Manal Elewah, Egypt’s delegate to the WHO for Global International Children Cancer Initiative and Art Therapy Consultant gave us a detailed presentation about the new art therapy room that is currently being equipped in the new building attached to the hospital. The Club will contribute to help with the required furnishing and tools in the near future.
Our members joined the children and their families in drowning and coloring which filled the place with an atmosphere of joy and hope in their hearts and the hearts of all of us.

On December 25, 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Hend Mortagi, visited the Home for Blind Elderly Women in Nasr City, which is affiliated with the Al-Nour and Hope Association. Subsistence and treatment for 43 elderly and blind women.
The club donated to purchase cameras to keep the home under supervision all the time.
The Club also donated a cheque for the living and medical cost for the inmates.
The club was touched by the dedication of those in charge of the house for the comfort and happiness of the elderly. Meals were also distributed to them and gifts of shawls and tassels to protect them from the cold of winter. They were pleased with the club’s visit to them.
The club thanked those in charge of the house and promised another visit.
On Wednesday, December 28, 2022 the Inner Wheel Club of El-Tahrir, headed by Lobna El-Messiri, and in the presence of club members, donated towards a cardiac catheterization operation for an 8-year old. He suffered from a complex posterior heart defect. Dr. Amal El-Sisi successfully performed the operation at Dr. Alaa Ezzat Hospital in Maadi. Additional donations were collected for the child patient to travel abroad to perform an open-heart surgery.
On January 4, 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of El Mansoura, headed by Mrs. Basma Saleh, visited the “Nidaa Association for the Rehabilitation of Hearing-Impaired Children,” which is one of the club’s sustainable projects. Mrs. Saleh presented a financial donation to the Nidaa Association on behalf of the IWC of El Mansoura
On Monday, January 3, 2023, the members of the Inner Wheel Club of El-Mansoura, headed by Mrs. Basma Saleh visited Dar Al-Fadl, one of the sustainable projects of the club. The delegation was received by Dr. Siham Annan, the chairman of Dar Al-Fadl. IWC of El-Mansoura provides financial and in-kind donations, including winter clothes, to Dar El-Fadl to support people with special needs.
On December 28, 2022, under the slogan of the year “Work Wonders” the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, attended the day of Henna of a bride at the orphanage of the Muslim Women’s Association which is headed by Mrs.Nahed Eissa a member of the club.
They participated by a financial donation to the bride’s expenses and in-kind gifts on the day of Henna.
On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Cairo visited 57357 Cancer Children Hospital. The club members were received by Dr. Sherif Abu El-Naga the CEO of the hospital, a donation was made from the president Dr. Waguida Anwar and the club members
In continuation of achieving the slogan (Work Wonders). On Tuesday, December 20,2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta headed by Mrs. Amira Aref, in the presence of the Vice President of Tanta University for Environmental affairs inaugurated the second clothing exhibition for this year at the Faculty of Commerce, Tanta University
The exhibition lasted 3 days with great success the revenue of the exhibition was directed to financially unable students

IWC of Sharm El-Sheikh visited the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 in the presence of D95 Chairman Mrs. Nora Fayek to participate in supporting this important medical edifice, they met Dr. Sherif about Naga the hospital Manager, and granted him a donation.
The club members presented some in-kind gifts and winter clothes during their visit and participate in the celebration held by the “Moral Affairs of the Armed Forces “with the participation in support of the hospital and to bring joy and happiness to the children on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Then, the club members accompanied by Mrs. Nora Fayek visited the club’s sustainable project inside the hospital, which is a studio “Art to cure”
which has been developed and expanded with new activities and arts to accommodate the largest number of children. A special room has also been established for children with special needs, and autism, to learn drawing and music, which will have a great positive impact on their response to treatment and integration with all children in the hospital.
At the end of the visit, the club members and the District Chairman Ms. Nora Fayek, took some souvenir photos with the children as well as their drawings and the art exhibition, to encourage and support them to develop their various talents and enjoy their presence in the hospital during the treatment until full recovery, God willing.
