Under the presidential initiative “Hayat Karima A Decent Life” on January 31st, 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean signed a cooperation protocol with the Alexandria Drinking Water Company (AWCO)

The protocol was signed by Eng. Ahmed Gaber Chairman and Managing Director of the Drinking Water Company and Dr. Zizi Olama President of the Club.

The protocol entails cooperation between the two parties in the areas of community participation, delivering water to the areas and families most in need in Alexandria Governorate, and raising awareness of the importance of preserving water and avoiding waste. It is worth highlighting that the club has paid the cost of delivering water to 16 families relating to the initiative (Decent life ) in the villages.

The company handed over to the club a certificate of appreciation and gratitude.

Under the patronage of his highness Crown Prince Hussein the son of his Majesty king Abdullah the second,‘ Himitna’ the charitable association had the honor of opening the project for rehabilitating and developing the comprehensive princess Basma medical center in Al -Muhajireen area/ Ras al Ein on Thursday 26/1/2023.
The past president of the club of Inner Wheel Amman Philadelphia for the year 2021/2022 Mrs Nazi Faris was invited to the opening of this project where the club donation was for restoring the dental clinic and providing a dental examination device.
This project was one of many projects that were carried out by the administrative committee of last year.
The name of club the was written on the door of the dental clinic and on the list of supporters at the entrance of the center.
His highness Crown Prince and the attendees were impressed by this medical edifice which caters for 22000 persons monthly.
We congratulate Mrs Nazi Kupti Faris and congratulate ourselves, the Innerwheel club of Amman Philadelphia for such an achievement and look forward to more success to our club

On, January 26,2023, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II inaugurated Princess Basma Health Center in Al Muhajireen area in Ras Al Ain.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi, the president of the IWC of Petra, in the year 2021, in which a donation was made to this project, with the entire cost of establishing a children’s clinic at the center, in cooperation with the “Himmetna” association headed by Dr. Fadia Samara.

On Saturday, January 21,2023 The Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo acted under the slogan of “Work Wonders .

In celebration of the International Day of People of Determination and in line with the state’s policy of paying attention to the issue of disability, The Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo’s president, Mrs. Nihal Al-Bakry, and the club secretary, gifted The Friends of the Bright Tomorrow Association a computer to create programs and help develop children’s skills. Additionally, the club promised to provide more assistance in the coming months

Under the slogan “Work Wonders”

On January 25, IWC of El Sherouk  has inaugurated a unit of desalination & purification of water in “Ghamaza El Kobra village” at El Saf in Giza Governorate.  This unit will provide continuous potable water for 30.000 residents of this village. It  is one of the sustainable projects of the club.

IIWC of El Sherouk will ensure follow up and supervision for this unit.

On Friday January 27, 2023, the annual charity clothing exhibition of IWC of El Gezira Sporting was held at El Gezira Youth Center Zamalek. Ms Wafaa Zaki, club President and distinguished club members made a great effort in preparing and holding the exhibition, characterized by the good quality and display of all items exhibited at very reasonable and affordable prices.
The exhibition started at 10 am and lasted until 7 pm with great success and a promise to redo a second one this year. The income of this exhibition will be added to the fundraised for the second major project for IW Gezira Sporting Club this year, which is a substantial contribution to an elderly shelter needs that will be chosen very soon. “Work Wonders” is what we are trying to do in conjunction with this year IW Int’l motto for all IW clubs around the world.

Under the slogan “ Work Wonders “Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis, headed by Mrs. Salwa Selim, donated to the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at Ain Shams University Hospital (Al-Demerdash) to perform open heart surgeries for five critically ill children suffering from a congenital heart defect.

Under the slogan of the year “Work Wonders “ the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, made a donation  to the Muslim Women’s Association in Abdeen, which is headed by our dear colleague / Nahed Issa.

On January 23,2023 Inner Wheel Club of Cairo South headed by Mrs. Nevine Abd El Wahab made a donation to Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357

The Inner wheel Club of Alexandria, El-Nozha, headed by Mrs. Sarah Saad, paid the fees of a second-year secondary student.
