Inner Wheel Club D95

Under the International Inner Wheel Theme, (Lead the change), the Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek, headed by Mrs. Samia Aboul Fotouh, Nelly Helmy, the treasurer, Eman Abdel Latif and Tahani Zaher, members of the Board of Directors, visited Ahl Masr Hospital for Burns.

They were received by Mrs. Heba El Sewedy, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Ahl Masr Foundation.

A cooperation protocol was signed between the club and the Association.
A sum of 140,000 pounds was donated for an intensive care bed.
Ahl Masr Hospital is considered the defining moment hospital because it is the first and largest research center for treating burn victims and accidents free of charge in Egypt and the Middle East.

16/6/2021 – The President of the Inner Club of Gezira Sporting believes in the importance of the engagement of the civil society to help local hospital upgrade their medical services. With this thought in mind, Dr. Asrar El Barki, President of the Club, and some of its honorable members paid a visit on Theodore Bilharz Research Institute to donate two medical devices, costing L.E 90,000, to its blood bank:
– Balance- mixer:
Prevents blood coagulation during the blood donation process until the required quantity is withdrawn then automatically cuts the blood bag.
– Sealer:
Seals the blood bag to keep it sterile and prevent the penetration of air and microbes into it.
These two devices guarantee maintaining the required level of quality for the blood donation process.
It is worth noting that IWC of  Gezira Sporting Club  has made a donation a few years back to the same Institute of a device that tests the donated blood.

We pray for the safety of all the patients and will continue to put in practice the Inner Wheel International slogan “Lead the change”.

Inner Wheel Club of Garden City headed by

Nora Al Zoghbi signed a cooperation protocol with the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater chaired by Dr. Refaat Abdel Wahab to support the Water for Life initiative.  To implement the project of constructing a productive underground well using natural filtration technology, in Qena Governorate

. the Inner Wheel Club of Garden City Club has taken on the work of a full well in Qous  City, Qena Governorate.  Its cost is 400,000 EGP  (four hundred thousand pounds).  To supply the city with clean drinking water in an amount that is sufficient for 30,000 (thirty thousand people per day…),

The signing of the protocol was attended by the club’s president, Nora Al-Zoghbi , Incoming President Azza Selim , Didi Sourani and Fatma Abou Hatab

15/6/2021 – Inner Wheel of Club Amman Philadelphia represented by its President Mrs. Rowand Abu Hantash, organized a hand over ceremony at the Campus Hotel in the presence of the incoming president of the club for the year 2021-2022, Mrs. Nazi Qopti, members of the administrative board and some of the old administrative board.

Mrs. Rowand Abu Hantash donate a sum of money as assistance to some needy families to pay their water and electricity bills.

On June 15, 2021 IWC of Tanta headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy and in the presence of the treasurer, Mrs. Shadia El-Shennawy donating to Al-Minshawi General Hospital in Tanta (one of the isolation hospitals in Tanta) the following, 300 Gowns for doctors and nursing staff, with a value of 4,500 pounds, 110 surgical mask boxes Each box contains 50 masks with 5500 EGP.

The total donation costs were ten thousand EGP. The medical supplies were received by Dr. Tawfiq Al-Minshawi as the members were unable to attend due to the current circumstances.

 

Under the motto of International Inner Wheel (Lead the Change) and according to the protocol between Inner wheel club of Zamalek and Al Menia Governorate, the club president Mrs Samia Abou Al Fotouh, the Club Treasurer Mrs Nelly Helmy and the board member Tahabni Zaher handed a check with the amount of 215 Thousand EGP.
The donation is to cover 163 clean water and sanitation connections that were already installed, according to the ongoing projects of the club, for providing clean water and developing the villages.
The project took place in the villages of Bani Ahmed, Damshir and Toukh Al-Khail in Menia Governorate.

As a continuation of this year’s projects 2020/2021 The Inner Wheel Club of Giza followed up a pediatric heart surgery to close a hole between the ventricles for a 6-year-old girl at Abu Al-Rish Hospital which is performed by Dr.Amel El Sisi.  The cost of the operation is 34,000 EGP.

Also, IWC of Giza paid the tuition fees for 35 students at the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom who graduated, to obtain their certificates as they were withheld due to nonpayment, so the club paid 15000 EGP.

The club also paid the tuition fees for 15 students in different grades.

Under the slogan of this year, Lead the change.

The Inner Wheel Club of Al Mansoura headed by Mrs. Nagwa Kandil, as their annual habit, carried out a Medical device. This year a huge device was purchased that serves the entire Dakahlia governorate, an Echo device, which checks how the heart’s chambers and valves are pumping blood through the heart, was carried out to the Intrinsic Specialized Hospital in Mansoura .This device costs 280.000 EGP.

 8/6/2021 – During the last activity before the end of the current Inner Wheel year, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed accompanied by Mrs. Jehan Michael, the incoming president, and in the presence of Mrs. Awatef Al-Nashrati, a member of the club and Past chairman, presented the second check of the total donations to the Support Epilepsy Unit at Al-Kasr El-Einy Hospital, which is the club’s main project for this year.

It is worth noting that the treatment unit for this disease has been awarded the platinum degree in the Angels Awards for the global stroke units in the region of Africa and the Middle East.

 

8/6/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Petra, headed by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi, visited the “Himmetna” charity organization, which works for all patients to receive the best treatment service within adequate health conditions, and in a safe environment that preserves their humanity and dignity.

The women of the administrative body were received by Dr. Fadia Samara, founder, and president of “Himmetna”, who briefed the audience on the projects accomplished by the organization, which contribute to the development and support of the public health sector, and the improvement of health care provided to citizens. It also presented the steps taken by the Society in implementing its recently launched project to develop and modernize 25 health centers in various regions of the Kingdom.

Mrs. Chihabi, President of Inner Wheel Club of Petra, commended the good efforts made by the “Hemmitna” and made a cash donation in the name of IWC of  Petra to cover the costs of equipping the children’s clinic at Princess Basma Health Center, which represents the first phase of the project.

At the end of the meeting, Mrs. Chihabi expressed her pride in the good efforts and remarkable achievements made by those in charge of managing the “Himmetna” charity organization and are still achieving them to serve the less fortunate in our society.
