Inner Wheel Club D95

22/2/2021 – Believing in the online learning nowadays due to the corona pandemic, Inner Wheel Club of Amman delivered seven desktops (used in a good condition) to “Mukhayam Souf Orphans Center” in Jerash, to enable the students there to accomplish learning which was disrupted since last year.

Hoping we can support them even more once we get more computer donations.

 

14/2/2021 – On the 14^th of February 2021, the President of Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia, Mrs. Rowand Abu Hantash, and a number of members of the administrative committee provided breakfast meals to a number of workers on the occasion of the Valentine’s Day.

A new idea for “leading the change” and “empowering women” was adopted by Inner Wheel club of Amman.

Thanks to Mrs. Abeer Dajani (Honored Active Member) who took the initiative and was able to collect donations from our club members and their friends, then donated the money to a needy mother of three living in a rural village.

With this money the mother changed part of her house into a shop to sell products, where women from the village can buy feminine and children necessities.

We hope this idea will succeed, and more women can be helped this way.

Our Club’s Gratitude for all the work, effort and donations of our members. Working together we can change lives, especially during these hard times.

 

15/2/2021 – Under the slogan “Lead the change”, the Inner Wheel Petra Club, headed by Mrs.Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi , visited Ishraq Eye Center to make a financial donation to the “Kormal Oyounak” initiative to perform 6 surgeries to restore vision for patients who cannot afford these operations.

Mrs. Chehabi, the club’s president, and two members of the club’s board , were received by the Director of Ishraq Eye Center, Mr. Tamer Mehyar, who thanked them for the club’s contribution to conducting these operations for those who needed them most.

8/2/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis contributed with a sum of 85 thousand Egyptian pounds to El Demerdash Hospital

1- 25,252 thousand pounds for cancer medication adult section

2- 30 thousand pounds for cancer medication children section

3- 30 thousand pounds for a Electrocardiography machine for children section

13/2/2021 – Under the slogan of lead the change the Inner Wheel of Alexandria El Nozha headed by Mrs. Iman El-Gamal donated 2 electric wheelchairs and a prosthetic limb, the first chair for a 26-year-old man suffering from muscle atrophy and in need of a chair to help him work and rely on himself to support himself and his family.

And the second one for a man suffering from an advanced condition of kidney failure and hemiplegia, which caused his difficulty in movement.

This is our belief in our role and our commitment to our society in providing a helping hand to anyone to live a better life and be a productive member.

13/2/2021 – Under the Inner Wheel slogan of this year Lead The Change, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria headed by Mrs Omayma Helaly provided potable water connections to houses in Khorshid village aiming to change their lives for the better.

1/2/2021 – Mrs.Nagwa Qandil, president of Inner Wheel Club of El Mansoura accompanied by Mrs. Basma Saleh, honorary secretary and members of the club, Ghada Abdullah, Maysa Al-Hadidi and Shadia Al-Ashry, visited the “Light and Hope Association” one of the sustainable projects of club .Many years ago, the club started a project to teach the visually impaired mother how to use Braille tools to develop her blind child’s readiness and learning to make him an effective member of society
After that, we distributed sweets to the delight of the children, and Mrs.Nagwa made a donation for these educational commitments. We conducted an inspection tour of the house and the workshop. The attendees were impressed by the exhibits.

9/2/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Amman- Petra headed by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi visited the White Beds Association, a guest house for the elderly in Juwaida.
The president Mrs. Chehabi presented a financial donation to conduct maintenance work for the heating system, a burning head was purchased for the boiler and a thermostat to regulate the temperature in the house in the cold winter season.
In addition, The Inner Wheel Club of Amman-Petra provided foodstuffs and various cleaning materials the management of the Association informed us that it is needed.

3/2/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean headed by Dr. Mervat Ramses and a group of members visited the exhibition of Ayadi El Mostakbal Oncology Center for being the sponsor for this exhibition held at the center.
