18/3/2021 – The Members of Inner Wheel club of Alexandria Sporting headed by Mrs. Dina El-Hadary, delivered two overlock sewing machines at a sum of 15,000 EGP to the Al-Ahrar Village formerly (Bab Al- Ubaid) women’s sewing workshop, to help them to support their families.

14/3/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis make a donation of 15 thousand & 750 EGP to kasr El Einy Hospital , Department of burn.

24/3/2021 – Under this year slogan “Lead the Change “

The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean headed by dr. Mervat Ramses and some members visited Ayadi El Mostakbal Oncology Center to present a donation Check of 20.000 EGP as a contribution from the club in the treatment of cancer patient who are financially in need.

After that, the members of the IWC headed to Sporting club for a meeting to elect the new president and the board of directors for the incoming year 2020/2021.

19/3/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of El Gezira Sporting, under the presidency of Dr. Asrar El Barki, and with the effort of its honorable members, participated in celebrating Mother’s Day by giving the trainees of the tailoring workshop sponsored by our Club the opportunity to exhibit and sell their products in a designated corner at a garment exhibition for men, women, and children at affordable prices. The exhibition was held at El Mashabek Youth Center, Boulaq El Dakrour. The proceeds will go to the charity projects of the IW Club of El Gezira Sporting Club. We are determined to continue our mission with the hope of making a positive change in the lives of the less fortunate in our society.

 

17/3/2021 – Under the slogan of lead the change, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Al Nozha , headed by Mrs. Iman El Gamal,  donated the costs of an open heart surgery for a young girl.

21/3/2021 – In celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday 21st of March 2021, the Inner Wheel Club of  Petra members headed by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi visited the Jordanian Children Villages SOS , which provides care for two hundred and fifty orphan children, in thirty-two family homes , in each house five to seven children live with a mother who nurtures them in an environment full of love and security.

Mrs. Shehabi presented all working mothers at the Children’s Villages with cash coupons that give them the opportunity to choose the gift they would prefer to receive on Mother’s Day, in appreciation of their humanitarian efforts to take care of all children and youth in the homes of the village.

Mrs. Nancy Afram, Director of Donation Development and Communication at SOS Children’s Villages, presented the SOS shield to Mrs. Chehabi in appreciation of their generous donation.

28/2/2021 – Talking about women empowerment,

Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Talal  our Honorary President, visited (corn corner) seven  sisters who due to tough times and lack of jobs, took an inventive step to make a living out of selling grilled fresh corn, chestnut, and fresh grilled kunafa to sell to passersby their home garden.

 

This created a big stir as there were opponents with old school thinking that this job is not for women,

On the other hand, many liked the idea and supported the sisters including HRH Princess Basma when she visited them.

 

The support came either by buying from them or putting their story on social media which made more people know about them, so people went to see them, bought and tried their products, and appreciated them.

 

“Corn corner”

is an example of women leading the change in a changing world?

Hats off for all women who won’t sit idle and create the change themselves.

Five wheelchairs were donated to Inner Wheel club of Amman.

 

We contacted societies in needy areas, and donated the chairs in the name of IW club of Amman as follows:

27/2/2021 – Under the slogan of lead the change, the Inner Wheel of Alexandria El Nozha Club headed by Mrs. Iman El-Gamal delivered a prosthetic limb to a man who had an accident that led to the amputation of his leg.

3/3/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean headed by Dr. Mervat Ramses and a group of members visited the Fairhaven School of the disabled and we were received by the School administration, the doctors, supervisors, trainers, and those on charge of the handicapped in the school. Dr. Mervat Ramses donate 5000 EGP from the club.

We have looked for the different activities that the school offers to its students, from children up to the age of 50 years with special abilities and what has been made from carpentry, sewing, drawing and preparation of detergents …. etc. we also looked at the latest computer that can be controlled by relying on the movement of the eye. We had fun with the students. The school administration provided a letter of thanks and appreciation for the club donation.
