First Meeting for IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan President 2018/2019 Mrs. Dina Ghorab.

Under this year International Inner Wheel Club slogan 2018/2019

“Empower and Evolve”

The first primary meeting for IWCs district 95 Egypt & Jordon was held on Saturday the 15th of September 2018 at 12 pm at Le Pacha Boat with the presence of IWCs district 95 Egypt & Jordon board of directors for year 2018/2019.

We were honored by the presence of Mrs. Mona Sweis, member of the Board of Directors of Inner Wheel International Club in Jordan, National Delegates and former presidents of the region, as well as a gathering of heads, secretaries and treasurers of IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan.

Each member of the Board of Directors delivered a welcome speech, full of hope and optimism for a successful Inner Wheel year. President Mrs. Dina Ghorab, also delivered a speech on behalf of Mrs. Kamelah Tawfiq, treasurer of IWCs and Mrs. Hana El Sadat, who are responsible for the website.

This year IWCs main objectives to be were discussed, most importantly National IWCs for Women’s and Girls’ Project, which was approved by Melbourne Conference in April 2018 and will continue for the next three years.

At the end of the meeting, last year magazines were distributed 2017/2018 on the club delegates.

The meeting was filled with an atmosphere full of love and friendship and best wishes to a successful year to all.

Activities 2018 - 2019

First Meeting for IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan President 2018/2019 Mrs. Dina Ghorab.

On Monday, October 1st 2018, members of IWCs West Cairo met with IWCs District 95 Egypt & Jordan President Mrs. Dina Ghorab and her Honorary board members, Honorary Secretary Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti and vice president Mrs. Zaynab Al-Ghazali with the presence of the club’s Board Directors members, Mrs. Olivia Issa, Mrs. Fayza Farid, Mrs. Riri Qutb, Mrs. Suhair Issawi, Mrs. Fadia Badr El Din and other members of the club.

The Inner Wheel West Cairo Club was founded in 1981, it has 38 members, and it’s most sustainable and continuous projects that has been undertaking over the years are:

 

– Fostering two children in the Right to Live Association for special needs children.

 

– Fostering two children in Awlady Orphanage in Maadi.

 

– Assisting Nida Association for hearing impaired.

 

– Assisting Dialysis unit in Pediatrics Hospital – Ain Shams University.

 

– Help in taking care of children in Dar Al-Hana Orphanage in Mohandessin.

 

Projects in which the club participated in the past years are:

  1. The national project of the region year 2017-2018 Children without Shelter and Tahya Misr Fund.
  2. Donating to build 500500 Hospital for cancer patients in El-Sheikh Zayed, Giza.
  3. Renovating of the intensive care unit at Abassya Chest Diseases Hospital.
  4. Purchasing devices in the new Pediatrics Hospital in Ain Shams University
  5. Purchasing devices at Abu Al-Reish Children’s Hospital.
  6. Purchasing an ambulance for Ambulance Egyptian Authority.
  7. Renovating a number of (2) Sabils in Old Cairo.
  8. Many projects for The Right to Live Association for special needs children such as sewing workshops
  9. Participation in the establishment of housing in the association.
  10. Renovating the school Bemba Kadin Preparatory Boys School in Old Cairo.

And many other projects.

At the end of the meeting, Mrs. Suha Shams, the club president thanked the president of the region Mrs. Dina Ghorab, presented her with the club’s honorary shield with a bouquet of roses.

The Inner Wheel Club Philadelphia

The Inner Wheel Club Philadelphia members met with Mrs Alya Alyan the club chairman in a splendid meeting full of love and harmony with her the chairman best wishes for the club with success to achieve its honorable causes with the members’ determination and collaboration. Together we’re stronger. We’re honored to welcome the presence of Mrs Mona Sweis International club board member, Mrs Suzan El Taieh vice president, former presidents and other members of the Amman and Petra club.

EL GHAD EL MOSHREQ ASSOCIATION

On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, Mrs. Dina Ghorab, Chairman of D95 Egypt and Jordan, visited “Al Ghad Al Moshreq Association “to sponsor special categories of children with intellectual disabilities.
She was accompanied by members of Board of Directors Mrs. Azza Al-Mufti,( Honorary Secretary )and Mrs. Mona El Gemee, (ISO), Mrs Hadeel Shatat, PIWC of Nasr City , Mrs Shahinaz Hafez and Mrs Samia Wahba members of the club.
Mrs. Dina and her companions visited all the activities that the association is proud serving the needed children..
1. The illiteracy classes,
2. capacity development,
3. educational and production workshops,
4. medical department,
5. rehabilitation and employment, and then
6. the division of autism and the internal department.
Mrs. Dina visited the projects that members of IWC of Nasr City donated and participated with over the previous years, which were the preparation of educational workshops and productivity qualifying for the labor market for boys and girls.
The IWC members also gave the children of the society a mobile platform with special vibration and equipped with modern techniques to develop the senses of the child defying and addressing the lack of attention and fluctuations Strong mood, develop concentration and calm emotions.
The IWC members organized guided entertainment trips for children and students with sports courses, amusement park trips and more to share their activities and put a smile of their faces.
