5/5/2021 – Lead the change
Under this slogan, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, and in the presence of the treasurer Mrs. Shadia El-Shennawy visited the Foundation for the Handicapped in Tanta and donated the following
One prosthetic limb in the village of Shabshir Al-Hessa, Shabashir Al-Hasa center, so that the total number of prosthetic limbs becomes and 4 wheelchairs in Qutour Center in Tanta.
Two medical shoes to treat deformities of the foot were delivered to the village of Shabshir Hessa.

 

20/4/2021 – Lead the change
Under This slogan, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by
Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, in the presence of Mrs. Shadia El Shennawy, Treasurer and Mrs. Mona Khalil, the representative of the club.
The club donated check of 18,000 EGP for 180 seasonal and permanent employees.

Caring for the breadwinner women is one of the club’s sustainable projects. Thus another donation was given to a women  to bring goods for her kiosk
The check was for 2000 pounds.

7/4/2021 – Lead the change Under this slogan, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy and in the presence of several members, visited Al-Amal School for the Deaf and Mute in Tanta. After supervision and coordination with the Audiology Department of the university and with the cooperation of Dr. Tandil El-Mahallawi, the club donated 6 advanced medical stethoscopes to 3 students of the secondary section of the school. So that they can communicate in a  better way. The  gifted headphones are of the type Beltone. IWC of Tanta also offered some symbolic gifts. The value of the project was 16,600 EGP.

 

 

 

 

1/3/2021 – Lead the change
Under this slogan, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, and in the presence of some members, visited the Foundation for the Disabled, Noah’s Ark in the village of Hessat Akwa, one of the villages of Kafr El-Zayat Center, Gharbia Governorate.

This institution aims to care for the mentally handicapped with Down Syndrome and provide a decent life for them.

The institution includes an internal section that accommodates 170 beds with all its services from internal rooms, each with a private bathroom, library, medical clinic, physiotherapy center, and a special gym for the handicapped to strengthen their structure under the supervision of specialists, its place has wide activities and kitchens for food and it also includes a large and small theater and a spacious room for games. There is also a chapel, and a church, and the mother or family of a disabled person visits him once a week and spends an entire day with him .We were accompanied on this visit by Anba Paula, Bishop of the Tanta Church and its Coptic Orthodox dependencies, where this project is being held under his auspices. All accommodation and services are free of charge.

The Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy , visited Al-Amal School for the Deaf and Mute in Al-Galaa Educational Complex in Tanta. IWC of Tanta donate the tuition fees for 42 students. They also donate a Singer sewing machine to train the students in their practical session.

26/12/2020 – Lead the change
Under this year slogan, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, paid the tuition fees of 38, financially unable, university students in Tanta Medical School. Fourteen in the first year and 24 students in the other years.
The project was delivered in the presence of prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of Tanta College of Medicine, and prof. Sahar Hazaa, Vice Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Service.
The donation was 24 thousand pounds. Part of it is from the clothes exhibition, and the other part is a personal donation from the club members.
The president of the club extends her appreciation to the members for their generous donation.

Lead the change
Under this slogan, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmi and in the presence of several members paid a visit to El Al-Wafa Orphanage for girls. The club presented two checks to contribute to the marriage of two girls from the orphanage, this is one of the club’s sustainable projects of the Club. One of the members donate a wedding dress to the orphanage in order to make the girls happy.

Lead the change
Under this year slogan, the Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Ghada Rahmy, on Wednesday October 28, donated to Tanta Fever Hospital a set of medical supplies and protective equipment’s for the doctors and nursing staff to protect them from the Covid-19 virus, and the following was donated
300 gown for Doctor
Six packs of latex gloves( 400 Gloves)
300 Doctor head covers
Six medical mask packages(400 masks)10 liters of alcohol
The supplies & equipment’s were delivered to Dr. Maha Abed, as it is difficult to IW members to be present in the hospital due to the presence of Covid- 19 cases .

IWC OF TANTA donation to the “Amal Vocational School “for the deaf and mute children in Tanta City. Five school divisions were helped by donations and supplies for: Computer department, Carpentry department, Sewing department, Pottery department and knitting department each to his needs in order for the students to be able to learn a skill that will help them in their future life career.

IWC OF TANTA donation to El Nour and El Amal society for the blind in Tanta. They supplied them with all the necessary tool kits needed for the knitting section from needles to all colors of yarn ,lace , tracing paper and threads from the manufacturers in Mahalla city to make it ready for 200 blind girls to learn a skill ,earn a decent income and spend a joyful time together. All was handed to the society for the blind president Mrs. Zeinab El Sayad who thanked Inner Club of Tanta for supplying their urgent needs.
