Inner Wheel Club D95

Under the slogan of the year “Shine a Light,” Mrs. Soha Salem, President
of of Sphinx IW Club, participated in the Iftar event hosted by the
Muslim Ladies Association on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Giza Yacht
Club. Joining her were Club members Mrs. Hanan Azmy, Mrs. Ghada Barakat,
Mrs. Amina Reda, and Mrs. Madiha Hammad. The Innerwheel Club of Sphinx
generously donated 17,500 Egyptian pounds to the association.
Appreciation to all who contributed to this donation.

On Sunday, February 25, 2024, the Innerwheel Club of Sphinx, under the
leadership of Mrs. Soha Salem, hosted a delightful dinner at Saheb Al
Saada Restaurant on Al Moez Street, brimming with ancient historical
allure. Attendees relished dinner amidst music and a captivating Tanoura
show. Notable guests included Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh D95 chairman, Mrs.
Ashnadil Helmy, Mrs. Hala Hagrass, and Members from Innerwheel clubs of
Giza, Nasr City, Tanta, and Mansoura, along with several guests,
attended the occasion. The day sparkled with joy and positivity, leaving
everyone yearning for more beautiful activities benefiting for
charitable endeavors.

IW Of Sphinx Club.
On Sunday , 3 march 2024
Sphinx IW Club headed by Mrs. Soha Salem , held the second charity
clothing Bazar for this year.
The bazar was held at the Faculty of Music Education in Zamalek. The
proceeds were for the benefit of students who are unable to pay school
fees.
The donation amount is 15,600 Egyptian pounds.
Thanks to all those who contributed in the success of the Bazar.

IW Of Sphinx Club.

On Sunday, February 4th /2024, the Innerwheel Club of Sphinx, led by Mrs. Soha Salem hosted District chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fotouh, at the Diplomatic Club in Tahrir. The meeting was graced by the presence of many board members & Inner wheelers.

Mrs. Soha Salem commenced the meeting by a warm welcome to all attendees.

She subsequently highlighted the successful completion of various projects and commended the collaborative spirit exhibited by all club members.

Following this, Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fotouh provided a summary of this year’s accomplishments and lauded the cooperative atmosphere evident among the different Innerwheel clubs. The gathering concluded with the exchange of souvenirs, a delightful dinner, and the commencement of February birthday celebrations. It was an occasion marked by a prevailing sense of friendship and cooperation among all present.

Sphinx Club.

On Saturday, December 30, 2023, Sphinx IW club led by Mrs. Soha Salem, hosted a breakfast at the Diplomatic River Club, embracing the year’s theme “Shine a Light” in celebration of Christmas and New Year’s. Among the attendees were Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fotouh, Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, along with members of the board, presidents and members from various Innerwheel clubs, and other guests. During the event, Mrs. Reem Maguid delivered a brief speech highlighting the origins of the Christmas tree in Pharaonic civilization. The gathering along the Nile fostered a friendly atmosphere , with hopes for more events to support their charitable projects.

November 14th.

Within the framework of friendship Sphinx Innerwheel Club headed by Mrs.
Soha Salem, organized a one night trip to Wadi al-Rimal Resort in Wadi
al-Natroun on Saturday, November 11th/2023. A large number of club
members participated along with Mrs. Ninette Sharara – from Alexandria
IWC, Mrs. Hala Hagrass and Mrs. Reem Nazih from Giza IWC, and Mrs. Mona
El-gamaie from Nasr City IWC. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful trip.

The IW clubs all over the world are celebrating 100 years of the
formation of the first club in Manchester. On this special occasion,
many IW clubs in Cairo met. New Giza club with some members met @ Andrea
restaurant to celebrate the occasion.

In order to enhance the concept of friendship and cooperation between the various Innerwheel Clubs, Sphinx Innerwheel Club

headed by Mrs. Soha Salem, & Innerwheel Club of West Cairo headed by Mrs. Samia Wahba, with the

Innerwheel Club of Sharm El Sheikh headed by Mrs. Zozo Al-Abd; all the three clubs participated in organizing a joint meeting in Al-Basha Restaurant in Zamalek. They hosted one of the psychiatry scientists in Egypt, Professor Dr. Tarek Okasha, and the topic of the talk was “the connection between the brain and the body.”

Questions were answered regarding some psychological topics. It was an enjoyable meeting.

On December 29, 2022, Under the slogan “Work Wonders”

Mrs. Hanan Azmy, the president of the IWC of Sphinx D95, invited Mrs. Hind Mortagi, the president IWC of Nasr City D95 to her home to receive Mrs. Nashreen from the IWC of Bombay Bayer, District 314, from India.

Flags were exchanged between the two IW Clubs D 95 and IW Club of Bombay Bayer D 314

Each club presented its different projects, and they exchanged ideas in an atmosphere of friendship.

Sunday, December 4, 2022, the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, headed by Mrs. Hanan Azmy, hosted Mrs. Nora Fayek, Chairman D95 Egypt and Jordan in the Diplomatic Club. Mrs Azza Al-Mofti Honorary Secretary and Mrs. Omaima Ezzat, Treasurer with a large number of club members attended the meeting

The meeting started with a tour of the Diplomatic Club about its history.

Then Mrs. Hanan Azmy welcomed the guests and club members, praised the spirit of cooperation among the club members, then she presented the projects of the club. Mrs. Nora Fayek in her speech noted the importance of cooperation between the different IW clubs.

Then, the dinner was served in an atmosphere of friendship
