Inner Wheel Club D95

Mrs. Gehan Michael, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, accompanied by, Mrs. Nihal Al-Bakri, the DNR, D 95 Egypt & Jordan, and Mrs. Awatef Al-Nachrati, Past District Chairman, and two club members, started her first projects for the Inner Wheel year 2021-2022, with a visit to the workers of the Environmental Beauty and Cleanliness institute in Nasr City, and distributed sums of money to them on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha. It is worth mentioning that this project has been in effect from the previous year, as it relates to the marginalized class at the bottom of society who suffer from a lack of resources, a class which we were accustomed to calling the Garbage Men, accordingly the Inner Wheel Club has started its march for the new year on the banks of the River of giving  and  growth.

Under the slogan of this year, Lead the change.

The Inner Wheel Club of Al Mansoura headed by Mrs. Nagwa Kandil, as their annual habit, carried out a Medical device. This year a huge device was purchased that serves the entire Dakahlia governorate, an Echo device, which checks how the heart’s chambers and valves are pumping blood through the heart, was carried out to the Intrinsic Specialized Hospital in Mansoura .This device costs 280.000 EGP.

 8/6/2021 – During the last activity before the end of the current Inner Wheel year, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed accompanied by Mrs. Jehan Michael, the incoming president, and in the presence of Mrs. Awatef Al-Nashrati, a member of the club and Past chairman, presented the second check of the total donations to the Support Epilepsy Unit at Al-Kasr El-Einy Hospital, which is the club’s main project for this year.

It is worth noting that the treatment unit for this disease has been awarded the platinum degree in the Angels Awards for the global stroke units in the region of Africa and the Middle East.

 

31/3/2021 – Once again, generous hands are extending with a flood of emotions mixed with thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the marginalized groups in our society: the sanitation workers. An group from Inner Wheel club members of Nasr City headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed, & on the holy month of Ramadan, headed to the center of the Cleanliness and Beauty Authority’s workers in Nasr City to distribute sums of money instead of Ramadan bags, and also to re-assure them with the fact that their work is not less valuable and important than any other honorable work in our beloved country, Egypt … This meeting was also attended by Mrs. Nihal Al-Bakri, Deputy National Representative for District 95, Egypt and Jordan.

 

27/3/2021 – An elite group of Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City gathered after a long absence the meeting was filled with feelings of longing, love, sincere friendship, and longing for companionship all wrapped around the pool of Hilton Heliopolis hotel, in a new seminar for the “Book Club.”  Headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed. with a group of members of the Book Club from several other clubs where the sun of knowledge, thought and culture shone to enlighten minds and saturate the souls with meanings, feelings and human experiences through the discussion of two books.

The first book by the creative writer Rasha Samir, “The heart has another destination “.

The second story, “Laila And Orjouan”, written by the gentle, romantic young writer Rania Ezzi, who makes her way to join the ranks of the creative women writers.

A special greeting to Mrs. Nihal Al-Bakri, the mastermind behind the idea of ​​the “Book Club” and the Deputy NR who influenced our minds with this high-end project. and Mrs. Awatef Al-Nacharti, Past District Chairman, and Mrs. Dina Mashed District Assistant Governor was also present and to another meeting soon, God willing.

20/3/2021 – On an occasion that combined feelings of love, tenderness, and dedication to a group of angels with special needs who were being taken care of by hearts and minds that were able to accommodate their physical, mental and psychological needs within an edifice called “The Bright Tomorrow” … which is an elaborate name as it shines with humanitarian meanings and an enlightened thought to help and contain a group of our children with special needs to rehabilitate them and integrate them into society as productive members … through a scientific, systematic and thoughtful methodology with great care to give the desired result…Accordingly, members of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed, celebrated on Saturday, March 20, the Mother’s Day event at the headquarters of the “Bright Tomorrow Friends” Association for the Care of Special Need Groups (which is one of the club’s sustainable projects) with the Chair of the Board of Directors Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem and the honorable members of her board … The club honored several the ideal mothers who play a distinguished role with their children who are students of the association. The association also honored several faculty members as well as working in different departments to celebrate Mother’s Day. And the association’s students gave performances and singing to the guests of the ceremony, and entertainment shows were also presented ..
And at the end of the event, Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem and members of the club celebrated with the cutting of the cake along with the Ideal Mothers.

20/1/2021 – The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed, donated some preventive medical tools as well as sterilization tools to” Munira General Hospital” located in Elsayedah Zeinab area specifically targeting the isolation department.
The members of the club were received by Dr. Mohamed Aziz, Director of the Hospital, Dr. Nermin Salah El-Din, Director of the Infection Control Department, Mr. Sherif Mostafa, Director of Stores, and Mrs. Hana Hamdy, the Hospital’s Social Worker.

On the occasion of the celebration of childhood holidays and also the celebration of the International Day of Diabetics for Children. the Innerwheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed and some members of the club organized an
educational day for the nursing staff at the Pediatric Diabetes Unit at the Children’s Hospital, Ain Shams University, in cooperation with Dr. Iman Munir, head of the unit.
The title of the lecture was: “Nursing Care for Diabetics”
The lecture was given by a number of volunteer university professors.
The club members were received by Dr. Mona Al-Ganzouri, Head of the Children’s Department at Ain Shams Hospital.
At the end of the day, the nurses were given honorary certificates in appreciation of the superior care they exerted in a very professional and updated manner for the children of this disease. The club delivered certificates of appreciation to the participating doctors in the educational day, and meals were distributed and a sum of money was donated to support the nurses and another sum of money to support the unit’s needs.
At the end of the day some comic books were donated to the children of the clinic to watch & read.

In a human touch to spread happiness and joy to 65 cleaners in Nasr City Center. On the Noble Prophet’s birth. Mrs. Mona Al-Saeed, president of Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, and some members of the club distributed the traditional Prophet’s birth sweets along with a lunch box, as well as Blankets to keep them warm in winter season and some cash money for each of them … an act of giving which left a great impact on them all, & which was meant to motivate them in their work and to express the extent of society’s appreciation for this kind of harsh work they are responsible

Mrs.Mona el Saeed President of Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City and some members of the club, on Sunday, September 13, Visited the clinic of abnormal electric activity of the brain which is known as Epilepsy at Al Kasr Al-Aini Hospital .The purpose of this visit is to know the scope of this disease, its symptoms and how this unit works. The members the Club met the head of Neurology Department, and some doctors which explained to the members the details of the medical care from the first examination, the date of onset of the symptoms and seizures. Treatment of patients in this Unit depends mainly on the donations and the Unit is in needs of financial support due to increase in the number of patients mainly Children. Accordingly it is decided that the main project of Nasr City club will be the support of patient with abnormal electric activity of the brain (Epilepsy)
