Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” and in continued
support of the Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association for the Care of
Special Needs Groups, headed by Mrs. Shahinaz Hashem, Mrs. Mona
El-Saeed, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, accompanied by
Past President Mrs. Eman El-Gemei, paid a visit to the association on
Saturday, September 13th.

During the visit, they delivered 20 heavy-duty plastic chairs (tamb) and
8 tables of the same type, with a total value of EGP 24,600, for the
benefit of the students in the association’s boarding section.

This initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting
civil society institutions and promoting solidarity and care for
individuals with special needs.

Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example”, and as part of its
commitment to community service, the Inner Wheel  Club of Nasr City, led
by Mrs. Mona El-Saeed, organized a heartfelt visit on Wednesday,
September 3rd to the West Nasr City branch of the Cleaning and
Beautification Authority.

She was accompanied by , Vice Chairman
 of District 95 (Egypt & Jordan)Mrs. Mona El-Gamie,  (P.P)Mrs. Gehan
Fahim, (Club Secretary)Mrs. Gehan El-Gamie , and(P.P) Mrs. Hana Belliq

The visit was arranged to extend warm congratulations to the workers on
the occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi (the Prophet Mohammad’s Birthday).

As a gesture of appreciation, the club distributed EGP 25,000 in cash,
along with traditional Mawlid sweets to the workers. The event brought
joy and gratitude among the staff, who deeply appreciated the
recognition of their hard work and dedication.

The visit concluded with group photos taken in a warm and cheerful
atmosphere, marking a memorable day of gratitude and community spirit.

Spreading Joy and Gratitude: Eid al-Adha Celebration with Sanitation
Workers

On Tuesday, June 3rd, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the
Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs. Gihan Fahim and accompanied
by the club’s correspondent, Mrs. Mona El Said, visited the
headquarters of the Cleanliness and Beautification Authority in West
Nasr City to extend Eid al-Adha greetings to the sanitation workers.

In recognition of their invaluable efforts in maintaining the city’s
cleanliness, the club distributed monetary gifts totaling EGP 16,000 and
provided meals to the workers.  The atmosphere was filled with joy and
appreciation, as the workers expressed gratitude for the acknowledgment
of their hard work.  The visit concluded with the taking of
commemorative photos, capturing the spirit of community and
appreciation.

This initiative aligns with the Inner Wheel Club’s ongoing commitment to
community service and social responsibility, reflecting the
organization’s dedication to uplifting and supporting those who
contribute significantly to society.

Supporting Cancer Hospital 57357

Under the theme “The Heartbeat of Humanity,”
Mrs. Gehan Fahim, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, accompanied by several club members, visited Hospital 57357 on Monday, April 28th.
During the visit, they met with Ms. Samar Mahmoud and toured the Art Therapy and Creativity Center at the hospital. They explored its various departments and learned how children’s fears and suffering are transformed into artistic activities that help strengthen their immunity and improve their response to treatment.
This form of therapy is particularly notable for discovering children’s talents across different age groups and for organizing exhibitions and competitions showcasing their artwork and handicrafts. The proceeds from these exhibitions are used to fund activities within the center.

At the end of the visit, the members met with Dr. Sherif Abou El Naga, the hospital director, and presented a donation check of thirty thousand Egyptian pounds to support free medical treatment at the hospital. They also purchased several pieces of artwork created by the children of the center.

Compassion in Action – Supporting Children’s Healthcare

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” on March 24th, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, led by Mrs. Gehan Faheem, along with club members, visited Al-Nas Children’s Hospital.

They were warmly welcomed by Dr. Wissam Mohamed Amir, who guided them on a tour of the hospital’s various departments. She shared the inspiring story of its late founder, Khamis Asfour, who envisioned a hospital where the poor and underprivileged receive the same quality of medical care as the wealthy. To fulfill this vision, he established Al-Nas Hospital to provide entirely free treatment to those in need.

After his passing, his children, in collaboration with businessman Ayman Mamdouh Abbas and generous philanthropists, carried on his mission. Their dedication has transformed the hospital into a world-class medical facility, equipped with cutting-edge technology in cardiology, neonatal care, burn treatment, and a specialized autism rehabilitation center that supports both children and their families.

At the end of the tour, the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City presented a donation check of 51,000 Egyptian pounds to the hospital administration, reaffirming their commitment to this remarkable medical institution.

A touching initiative that embodies the true spirit of compassion and giving.

Support Cardiac Care at Ain Shams University

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner wheel Club of Nasr
City, led by Mrs. Gehan Faheem, and Inner wheel  e- Club of New Cairo,
led by Miss Lina Shaker, hosted a charitable clothing exhibition on
Sunday, February 18th, for the students and staff of the Faculty of
Medicine at Ain Shams University .In a heartfelt act of generosity, Mrs.
Sherine Arafa, past president of the Innerwheel Club of Nasr City,
donated a collection of brand-new clothing and outfits, which were
warmly received by the attendees.

The event’s proceeds, amounting to 40,000 EGP, have been dedicated to
supporting the purchase of an echocardiography machine for the
university’s Cardiology Department, contributing to the advancement of
cardiac care unit

Supporting Elderly Alzheimer’s Patients Through Art Therapy:

Under the theme“ Heartbeat of Humanity,” on Tuesday, January 21,
Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Gihan Faheem and
accompanied by several club members attended a seminar on art therapy
for Alzheimer’s patients at the Al-Baqiyat Al-Salihat Association for
the Elderly and Alzheimer’s patients, founded by the late Dr. Abla
Al-Kahlawi, and currently managed by Dr. Marwa Yassin and Dr. Rodina
Yassin, the daughters of Dr. Abla.

The association hosted a number of speakers who emphasized that art
therapy helps to develop a greater sense of self-awareness through
creative expression. They explained how artistic activities play an
effective role in adapting to daily life, aiding in memory recall, and
enhancing focus and attention on the required artistic activity.

They also highlighted that advanced age can still be a time for
creativity, citing numerous examples of public figures, both globally
and in the Arab world, who maintained a high level of focus until the
end of their lives.

After the seminar, the members of the club viewed some of the artwork
created by the residents of the association. Additionally, a donation of
30,000 Egyptian pounds was made by the club to support charitable
activities for the residents of the association.

Caring for the Elderly

On Saturday, November 2nd
Under the theme “ Heartbeat of Humanity”,In the context of caring
for the elderly, Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona
El-Gemay, accompanied by Mrs. Awatif El-Nasharty, D95 Extension Chairman
, and a number of club members visited” Dr. Abla El-Kahlawy” Hospital
for Alzheimer’s and
 Geriatric Patients , . The club donated some gifts to the patients in
addition to one bed for the examination room and another one bed for the
hospital’s intensive care unit .Trying to provide better services to
these patients.

Support blind Women

On Saturday, November 2nd
Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” IWC of Nasr City, headed by
Mrs. Mona El-Gemay, accompanied by Mrs. Awatif El-Nasharty, D95 Egypt
and Jordan Extension Chairman who is also a member of the club, and some
group members of the club, visited (El Nour wa El Amal) Association for
Blind Women, to attend an exhibition that displayed the association’s
products.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the knitting department, in
cooperation with the sewing department, organized a defile, and the
models were blind women.

In a speech by Dr. Mona El-Sheshini, the chairman of the association’s
board of directors and a member of IWC Nasr City, explained that the
association’s slogan and goal is (If I am not able to see, I can) to
help residents face life.

In support of environmental sustainability, the board directors
encouraged residents to recycle, including recycling old clothes to keep
up with fashion.

The exhibition’s products were admired by all the visitors.

The IWC of Nasr City donated twenty thousand pounds to the association’s
management in support of caring for residents.

Charity project -IWNasr City

One of Prophet Mohammad’s great teachings is “Charity” and is
always revived on his birthday (Peace upon him). In accordance with the
great day, and under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity ”, on Thursday
September 12, IWC of Nasr City headed by Mrs Mona Elgemiee, visited the
“General Authority of Cleaning of Cairo” West Nasr City to celebrate
the Prophet Mohamed’s birthday.

The IWC members distributed sums of money and meals to the garbage
cleaners and employees in the Authority. Additionally, Mrs Shahinaz
Hashem, member of the club & CEO of the Association (Bright Tomorrow for
Special Needs), gifted a set of shirts and pants to them.

Mrs. Shereen Arafa, the past president, Mrs. Eman Elgemiee, IWC of Nasr
City treasurer, Mrs. Gihan Elgemiee, the Secretary, and Mrs. Mona El
Said, The Correspondant participated in the visit. Recognizing employees
lets them know that their work is valued and appreciated.
