On Monday, September 2, 2024, under the theme “Heartbeat of
Humanity,” Inner Wheel Club of Lotus Egypt, led by Maha Khairy, signed
a cooperation protocol with the Awladna Foundation for the Arts of
People with Special Abilities during a press conference. This
collaboration aims to establish joint programs that support, train, and
market the activities of the foundation’s members with special
abilities.

Key Details of the Cooperation:

Support and Training:
The Inner Wheel Lotus Club will sponsor various workshops and activities
organized by the foundation throughout the year to develop the artistic
skills and talents of its members.

The club will provide all necessary materials and supplies for the
workshops, depending on their nature, at an annual cost of EGP 200,000.

Marketing:
The club will also handle the marketing of handicrafts and artworks
produced by these children with special abilities at various exhibitions

“Cover and Warmth” campaign

“Cover and Warmth” campaign
Total Cost 34,000 EGP

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” Inner Wheel Club of Lotus
Misr, led by President Maha Khairy, participated in the “Cover and
Warmth” campaign for the needy and severely disadvantaged families by
distributing 37 blankets and 26 quilts at a cost of 14,625 EGP.

In addition, the Club contributed through a donation from colleague Mona
Nasr by distributing 100 blankets to the Women’s Association for
Health Improvement for the elderly and orphans at a cost of 19,500 EGP.

Thus, the total contribution from Inner Wheel Lotus Misr Club in the
“Cover and Warmth” campaign amounted to 137 blankets and 26 quilts,
at a total cost of 34,125 EGP.

Environment sustainability project

Among this year’s environmental projects, under the slogan
“HEARTBEAT of Humanity”  Inner Wheel  Club of Lotus Misr, headed by
Maha Khairy, along with the club’s foundation Nazek El-Alfi, visited
the National Foundation for Family and Community Development in the
Al-Asmarat neighborhood of Al-Mokattam to inspect the rooftop farming
project. The project engineer harvested 200 lettuce and cabbage
seedlings, along with some arugula, and 110 kilograms of tomatoes were
also harvested. The entire yield was distributed to institutions and
needy families in Al-Asmarat.

The onion crop will be harvested in mid-March, and a new planting phase
will commence in the latter half of March.

Inner Wheel Lotus Egypt’s Initiative in Al-Asmarat

Empowering Women Through Literacy: Inner Wheel Lotus Egypt’s
Initiative in Al-Asmarat

Inner Wheel Lotus Egypt Club, led by Maha Khairy, launched an initiative
to support education in the Al-Asmarat neighbourhood. The initiative
included sponsoring 4 literacy classes for women in collaboration with
the Farouk El-Baz Foundation for Building Tomorrow’s Scientists.

Additionally, the initiative supported a class for the children of the
women attending the literacy courses, ensuring they could continue their
education without hindrance. The total cost of the initiative amounted
to 20,000 EGP, reflecting the club’s commitment to education and women’s
empowerment in the community.

planting citrus trees at the Orphanage of “Manaber Alnour”

In line with the national Mega project of District 95/Egypt and Jordan, about the environment, & on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, members of Innerwheel Club of Lotus Egypt headed by president Mimi Khairy planted citrus trees at the Orphanage of “Manaber Alnour” at Sheikh Zaied & delivered a Cheque with the amount of 10.000 Egyptian Pounds.

IWC of Lotus participated with the “Marriage Facilitation Association” in Nasr El Nuba

On June 9, IWC of Lotus participated with the “Marriage Facilitation Association” in Nasr El Nuba in the initiative of “Our Bride is Not Alone”, by contributing to the marriage of 30 orphan brides.

Each bride was given a cooker and a washing machine.

The association held a ceremony to hand over the equipment. The ceremony was attended by the brides and their families. Happiness and joy filled their hearts, and gratitude and thanks to everyone who contributed. The ceremony was in the Nubian style, and a beautiful evening was spent with the people of Nuba.

IWC of Lotus contributed to the project for the reconstruction of the village of Al-Jabal in Fayoum

The Inner Wheel club of Lotus contributed to the project for the reconstruction of the village of Al-Jabal in Fayoum, which is one of the poorest villages in Fayoum.

The club contributed to the reconstruction and development of 10 houses in the village of Al-Jabal, fully furnished and furnished them, and delivered clean drinking water, in addition to delivering 6 wheelchairs in support of people of determination. And the delivery of 5 sewing machines to some of the village women

Under the slogan “Work Wonders “ and as a continuation of the sustainable project, and on the occasion of the start of the holiday, the IWC of Lotus, on Thursday, April 13, headed by Nabila Omran and the club members, took  the children of the “Manbar Al-Nour orphanage ” to choose and buy Eid clothes by  themselves.

IWC of Lotus Misr signed a cooperation protocol with Dar Orman

On Wednesday the 8th of March at 5:00 pm in the Automobile Club, the Inner Wheel Club of Lotus Misr, headed by Nabila Omran, signed a cooperation protocol with Dar Orman, in the presence of each of Mr. Engineer / Hossam Al-Qabbani, Chairman of the Orman Board of Directors,NR Mrs. Suzan Kilani, and  Mrs. Nora Fayek , D95 Chairman , Egypt and Jordan, and Mrs. Enaya Shararah , DeputyNR, Mrs. Hala Hagras , the P Chairman, Mrs.. Azza Al-Mufti, Honorary Secretary and Mrs. Mona Aboul Fotouh, the coming D95 Chairman

A cooperation document was signed, which, God willing, will benefit all the Inner wheel clubs. The club has delivered a check to the Orman Association for the development and rehabilitation of 10 houses in the village.

The club president welcomed the guests and club members, and a video presentation was made of the houses before and during the rehabilitation.

The President of Orman made an interesting presentation in which he showed the work carried out by Orman and its contribution over many years.

The meeting ended at exactly eight o’clock in the evening, and everyone gathered for dinner in a beautiful friendly atmosphere
