Inner Wheel Club D95

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, IW Gezeira Sporting Club, led by President
Mrs. Azza El Mofty, participated in acquiring equipment for a PCR room
and an X-ray facility at Baheya Hospital, which offers free care for
breast cancer patients. Aligned with the yearly theme “Shine a Light,”
this effort was backed by Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, District 95 Chairman
with donations totaling around five million pounds. The acquisition of
these tools is poised to notably enhance patient care, fostering their
well-being. It is hoped that this initiative will bring joy to families,
elevating healthcare outcomes and providing essential aid. The Inner
Wheel Club’s involvement underscores its dedication to social
responsibility and its mission to positively impact the lives of the
less fortunate.

Gezira Sporting Club.

On Thursday, January 4th, 2024, members of Gezira Sporting Club, led by Mrs. Azza El Mofty, provided a prosthetic leg for a 34-year-old young man in an emergency situation. This immediate assistance enabled him to continue moving and working.

Helping people with disabilities plays an active role in society.

On Thursday June 8, 2023 Mrs/ Wafa Zaki President of IWC Gezira Sporting club and the distinguished members in the presence of Mrs Nora Fayek , Chairman District 95 Egypt and Jordan and Mrs Aza El Mofty Honorary Secretary visited Baheya Hospital in their new location at Sheik Zayed to present a donation to the foundation to purchase a Microscope , believing in our positive role in completing its goals and supporting the health of the Egyptian women
The District Chairman and all the ladies were welcomed by the Baheya stuff who in the turn gave explanation and the importance of the required Microscope .
All thanks and appreciation to Mrs Wafa Zaki the president and all the honourable members for their efforts , always together in lending and helping hand where is needed

With the flow of charitable stream in the holy month of Ramadan, IWC of  Gezeira Sporting club headed by Mrs Wafaa Zaki & the members distributed 200 kilos of meat to Fatma El Zahraa School students and their families who are in need, in addition to the school workers .

On April 7, 2023 and on the occasion of the Orphan ‘s day and the holy month Ramadan IWC of Gezira Sporting Club headed by Mrs Wafaa Zaki  and the members provided Iftar meals to 30  Orphan students of Fatma El Zahraa School ( that our club adopt and one of our sustainable project ) to attend the Iftar at El Saf  organisation and to enjoy the pleasant show , they received gifts and sweets.

Mrs Wafaa Zaki President of IWC of Gezira Sporting and club members visited El Wafaa and Amal to make a donation to Elderly patients. Club members toured the place accompanied by the General manager , who explained the association needs of medical supplies for bed sores and critical care.

In addition, he offered to provide medical treatment to Fatma El Zahraa students who are in need.

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and in addition to the coming orphan day ,on March 18, 2023 IWC of Gezira Sporting club headed by Mrs. Wafaa Zaki and the club members visited “Fatma El Zahraa Primary School “at War’ak El Hadar Embaba to distribute 200 Ramadan packages and cash assistance to families in need.

Packages of Sweets & Candies were given to orphan students.

Fatma El Zahraa primary school is one of the sustainable projects of the club since 2003.

On Friday January 27, 2023, the annual charity clothing exhibition of IWC of El Gezira Sporting was held at El Gezira Youth Center Zamalek. Ms Wafaa Zaki, club President and distinguished club members made a great effort in preparing and holding the exhibition, characterized by the good quality and display of all items exhibited at very reasonable and affordable prices.
The exhibition started at 10 am and lasted until 7 pm with great success and a promise to redo a second one this year. The income of this exhibition will be added to the fundraised for the second major project for IW Gezira Sporting Club this year, which is a substantial contribution to an elderly shelter needs that will be chosen very soon. “Work Wonders” is what we are trying to do in conjunction with this year IW Int’l motto for all IW clubs around the world.

Inner Wheel Club of El-Gezira  Sporting headed by Mrs Wafaa Zaki renovated 32 bathrooms at Fatma El Zahraa Primary School at Embaba, the project will serve the students , teachers and all school staffs .

Mrs Aza El Mofti supervised and followed up the work until completed.

Ceramica Cleopatra company donated all the necessary Ceramics for walls and floors New wooden doors were installed at all bathrooms and external iron doors were installed in order to preserve the safety of the students.

On November 19, 2022 IWC of El-Gezira sporting celebrated the opening and was honored by the presence of:

Mrs Nora Fayek chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan,Mrs Hala Hagrass past D.chairman,Mrs Afaf Maged Vice Chairman. Mrs. Zeinab Ghazali Past D. Chairman and Mrs Aza El Mofti Honorary Secretary.

Fatma El Zahra Primary School is one of the club sustainable projects.

IWC of Al-Gezira Sporting sponsored a sewing workshop at Nahdat Al-Mansouriah Association in Al-Mansouria village in Egypt.

The club donated all the necessary sewing machines and equipment to teach women the art of sewing and crochet. The club bought their products and donated the total of 180 sets of clothes to needy students at Fatima Alzahra’ public school in Imbaba Village.

The club also celebrated the graduation of 19 women who finished their sewing course and organized a bazaar where their products were sold.
