Inner Wheel Club o Giza’s Heartwarming Annual Visit to Al Sunbula Al Khadra Orphanage

In line with the Inner Wheel theme for 2025–2026 , “Step Up and
Lead by Example “, and under the leadership of the esteemed member Mrs.
Reem Nazih, the Inner Wheel Club of Giza was delighted to make its
annual visit on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, to Al Sunbula Al Khadra
Orphanage for Girls in Katameya, in celebration of the beginning of the
2025 school year. The members spent meaningful time with the girls,
listening to their interests, hobbies, and how they spent their summer
vacation, and were deeply touched by their warm personalities, admirable
values, and eagerness to grow and succeed. As part of the visit, the
club presented the girls with school supplies including backpacks,
notebooks, book covers, pens, and calculators. The group was warmly
welcomed by Mrs. Bahira Nassif, a devoted member of the orphanage’s
Board of Directors, who lovingly cares for the girls and is dedicated to
developing their artistic and athletic abilities. Among the many
heartwarming moments during the visit, two girls were proudly recognized
for joining Al Ahly’s women’s first football team as professional
players, while others actively participate in the orphanage’s sewing
workshop, producing prayer garments and home textiles—some of which
were purchased by club members in support of their talent and hard work.
The girls, aged between 10 and 16, impressed everyone with their
excellent manners, creative talents, and strong determination to
succeed. The visit helped strengthen the bond between the club and the
girls, with a promise of ongoing communication and emotional support
throughout the year. It was truly a touching and uplifting experience
spent with bright young souls full of hope, resilience, and dreams for
the future. The club extends sincere thanks to the orphanage’s
management and kind supervisors for their outstanding efforts and wishes
all the girls a successful school year filled with joy, growth, and
achievement.
