21/4/2021 – The  Inner Wheel Club of Amman Petra, headed by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi, visited the Charity Clothing Bank,  accompanied by women from the club’s administrative body.
The Director in charge of the Charity Clothing Bank, Mrs. Rawan Masaada, received a check from Mrs. Chehabi, the President of the Club,  a cash donation for a number of Ramadan parcels containing household items such as dishes, cups and cooking pots, provided by Inner Wheel Petra Club.
The Charity Clothing Bank is considered one of the most important projects of the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization since its launch in 2013, it aims to provide appropriate clothes for Jordanian families in need in all governorates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and throughout the year, through a clothing showroom that gives the pleasure of shopping to families and selects their needs freely Completely free of charge.
The club’s women toured the departments of the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization and found out about the services provided by the clothing bank, in addition to visiting the Arzaq project and the Tarabot project, these charitable projects that work to extend a helping hand to all those in need through the services, assistance and training they provide. .
At the end of the visit, the club’s ladies expressed their thanks for the warm reception of the charity clothing bank, and their pride in this distinguished Jordanian charitable Establishment with all its services .

21/3/2021 – In celebration of Mother’s Day on Sunday 21st of March 2021, the Inner Wheel Club of  Petra members headed by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi visited the Jordanian Children Villages SOS , which provides care for two hundred and fifty orphan children, in thirty-two family homes , in each house five to seven children live with a mother who nurtures them in an environment full of love and security.

Mrs. Shehabi presented all working mothers at the Children’s Villages with cash coupons that give them the opportunity to choose the gift they would prefer to receive on Mother’s Day, in appreciation of their humanitarian efforts to take care of all children and youth in the homes of the village.

Mrs. Nancy Afram, Director of Donation Development and Communication at SOS Children’s Villages, presented the SOS shield to Mrs. Chehabi in appreciation of their generous donation.

15/2/2021 – Under the slogan “Lead the change”, the Inner Wheel Petra Club, headed by Mrs.Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi , visited Ishraq Eye Center to make a financial donation to the “Kormal Oyounak” initiative to perform 6 surgeries to restore vision for patients who cannot afford these operations.

Mrs. Chehabi, the club’s president, and two members of the club’s board , were received by the Director of Ishraq Eye Center, Mr. Tamer Mehyar, who thanked them for the club’s contribution to conducting these operations for those who needed them most.

9/2/2021 – Inner Wheel Club of Amman- Petra headed by Mrs. Seneen Baghdadi Chehabi visited the White Beds Association, a guest house for the elderly in Juwaida.
The president Mrs. Chehabi presented a financial donation to conduct maintenance work for the heating system, a burning head was purchased for the boiler and a thermostat to regulate the temperature in the house in the cold winter season.
In addition, The Inner Wheel Club of Amman-Petra provided foodstuffs and various cleaning materials the management of the Association informed us that it is needed.

IWC of Petra donated a large of funds to the Gaza Refugee Camp in Jerash as part of the Club’s sustainable project to support the Children’s winter camp Art and Music Center
The center was established in 2016 by IWC of Petra.

IWC of Petra donated a large monetary contribution to support the initiative
“Your Daily Income Is On Us”
to provide many families with one month of food supplies. Many of these families maikn breadwinners their daily income due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and resulting worldwide economic crisis.
This initiative was presented by NAUA “An online platform that helps donors in Jordan by providing access to trusted social projects.

IWC of Petra donated money to the following charity organizations in their mission to help the local community in need and supporting families struggling during difficult times of worldwide COVID19 pandemic.
Our club collaborated with Organizations and accredited charities that immediately mobilized to help those in need, such as orphans, widows, families with special needs children and divorced women
A- Social Solidarity Society
B- Goodwill Family Relief Fund
C- DAR Al Ihsan
D- Friends of Jordan Association
E- Mary Mother of Hope Children’s Home

IWC of Petra continues to support projects to support women in rural areas in Jordan to obtain a sustainable income. The club donated a large monetary contribution to establish a productive kitchen in the city of Jerash in the North of Jordan, The facility is owned and supervised by two women from the local community.
The kitchen will offer organic products to sell. This project will go in partnership with BookAgri (A social enterprise dedicated to developing agricultural tourism by showcasing the rural Jordanian cuisine.

IWC of Petra continues to support woman empowerment projects. The club adopted a small boutique in Jarf Al-Daraweesh village south of Jordan by offering a large monetary contribution. This project will provide a woman and her family with a steady income.

IWC of Petra donated a substantial monetary sum to Jordan Education For Women Empowerment and Learning Society (JEWELS) a non-profit organization that offers underprivileged young women a chance to pursue their higher education.
