The IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited the Children’s Cancer Hospital 3939

The IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited the Children’s Cancer Hospital Association of Alexandria 3939 on April 13, 2023.

The club members were received by Prof. Dr. Shady Fadel, Director of the club donated a check as a contribution for the treatment of children. The hospital is a charitable hospital based on donations and treats children from the age of one day to 18 years. The hospital serves about 1,500 children annually.

The vision of the hospital: to provide medical services at the highest level for children with cancer, and its mission is to transform the hospital into an integrated centre for the treatment of child tumours free of charge.

Its goal is to provide free treatment for children fighting cancer without discrimination and without waiting lists. It also tries to provide all the needs of children fighting cancer, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or operations for free.

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean Visited Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357

On Tuesday April 4, IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean Visited Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357. The club members were received by Dr. Sherif Abo El Naga. The club donated a Cheque as a contribution from the club for the treatment of Children.

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited the “Saint Mary & Saint Athanasius Church.”

On the occasion of Blessed Coptic Easter, On April, IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited the “Saint Mary & Saint Athanasius Church” in Abdel Kader Village . The club members distributed prepaid cards to 50 needed families.

IWC of Mediterranean visited the Alexandria Association for Cultural and Social Care for the Blind

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean visited the Alexandria Association for Cultural and Social Care for the Blind, and Oasis Nour Al-Hayat Charitable Association for the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy.

 

During their visit, the club members met some of the children’s parents and distributed a number of cards from the  Gomla market to support their needs during the holy month of Ramadan

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited “Dar El Hana” for elderly women

On Wednesday, 22nd Mar 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean visited “Dar El Hana” for elderly women to celebrate Mother’s Day.

During the visit the members learned more about the service of the home.

Gifts, food and sweets were presented to the inmates.

At the end, a certificate of thanks and appreciation was presented to the club.

On March 19, 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean visited the “Friends of the Holy Bible Association”, for orphaned children. The IW Club presented

gifts, clothes, and a check to support this association

The Club members were received by the CEO of the Board of Directors.

At the end of the visit the club received a certificate of appreciation for their donation

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean sent 100 blankets through the Egyptian Red Crescent Society to Syria

On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean purchased 100 blankets, to participate in “Al-Khair Convoy” for the relief of those affected by the earthquake in Syria, praying to God Almighty that the victims rest in His mercy and heal all the injured.

The blankets will be sent through the Egyptian Red Crescent Society in Alexandria.

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean visited “Wahet Nour El hayat Charity Organization.”

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean has visited “Wahet Nour El hayat Charity Organization” for rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy. The club has donated a cheque to purchase compensatory devices and 2 Special Wheelchairs for the disabled children.

The club has also provided medications for children. The organization presented a certificate of appreciation to the club.

IWC of Alexandria Mediterranean signed a cooperation protocol with the Alexandria Drinking Water Company (AWCO)

Under the presidential initiative “Hayat Karima A Decent Life” on January 31st, 2023, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean signed a cooperation protocol with the Alexandria Drinking Water Company (AWCO)

The protocol was signed by Eng. Ahmed Gaber Chairman and Managing Director of the Drinking Water Company and Dr. Zizi Olama President of the Club.

The protocol entails cooperation between the two parties in the areas of community participation, delivering water to the areas and families most in need in Alexandria Governorate, and raising awareness of the importance of preserving water and avoiding waste. It is worth highlighting that the club has paid the cost of delivering water to 16 families relating to the initiative (Decent life ) in the villages.

The company handed over to the club a certificate of appreciation and gratitude.
