Restoring Hope and Mobility: Two Lives Transformed with Prosthetic Limbs

As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria El Nozha, under the leadership of President Omima El Gharby,
successfully provided two prosthetic limbs to support women in need. The
initiative aimed to enhance their quality of life and help them regain
independence. Details of the cases are as follows:

🔹 Case 1:
A 27-year-old woman, orphaned since early childhood, is married and a
mother to a young child. She suffered a severe accident that resulted in
an amputation at the hip joint. A custom-designed prosthetic limb was
carefully crafted and fitted to accommodate her condition, enabling her
to move forward with strength and dignity.

🔹 Case 2:
A woman from an economically disadvantaged background had undergone a
below-knee amputation. An appropriate prosthetic limb was prepared and
provided to aid her rehabilitation and restore her mobility.

Thanks to the grace of God and the dedication of the club members, both
prosthetic limbs were successfully delivered, bringing renewed hope and
improved mobility to these women.

Under the gracious leadership of Mrs. Omaima El Gharby (Club President)
and Mrs. Marwa Farag (Honorary Secretary), the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria El Nozha hosted a meaningful visit to Ayady El Mostakbal
Hospital. The event welcomed distinguished guests Mrs. Hanaa El Sadat,
District 95 (Egypt & Jordan) Chairman for the year 2025/2026, and Mrs.
Mona Gamaie, Vice Chairman.

Also in attendance were club members Mrs. Mai El Deeb and Mrs. Hanaa
Sabry.

The visiting delegation was warmly received by Dr. Amr Abbasy, General
Manager of the hospital, along with esteemed members of the Board of
Directors, including:

Mr. Hossam Abdel Wahab – Board Member of Ayady 4040 Association and
Treasurer

Mr. Ayman Nazih – Board Member of Ayady 4040 Association

The program included an extensive tour of the hospital’s departments,
with special emphasis on the pediatric unit and the quality of services
provided to young patients. Guests were also presented with an
insightful presentation detailing the hospital’s journey, milestones,
and the number of patients who have benefited from its services over the
years.

In a continued show of support, IWC of Alexandria El Nozha presented a
donation cheque to the hospital, reaffirming their long-standing
commitment since its inception—through generous contributions of
medical equipment, medication, treatments, and surgical procedures.

Deeply moved by the hospital’s exceptional service to the community,
District Chairman Mrs. Hanaa El Sadat also made a personal donation in
support of its ongoing mission.

💖 Heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success
of this visit, and to the dedicated team at Ayady El Mostakbal Hospital
for their outstanding humanitarian efforts.

Supporting the Visually Impaired: IWC Alexandria El Nozha Donates
Braille Computers
Cost 60,000 EGP

On May 13th, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha, headed by Mrs.
Heba El Kady, delivered a check for 60,000 Egyptian pounds to the Girls
Care and Community Development Association to fund the purchase of four
Braille computers for the visually impaired.

Donation to Shatby Children’s ICU Cost 50,000 L.E

On March 18, Inner Wheel  Club of Alexandria El Nozha Club, headed by
Mrs. Heba El Kady, completed a previous project by donating 50,000
Egyptian pounds to the Shatby Children’s Intensive Care Unit to treat

 Donation  for Defibrillators
Cost  260,000 Pounds to Smouha University Hospital for Defibrillators

On February 15th, the Inner Wheel Alexandria Club of Alexandria El
Nozha, headed by Mrs. Heba El Kady handed over a check for 260,000
pounds to the Cardiology Department at Smouha University Hospital for
the purchase of two defibrillators. The event took place in the presence
of Professor Dr. Mohamed Lotfy and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Hassanein.

Support Blind people and Their Families

On February 24, the Inner Wheel Club CLUB OF Alexandria El-Nozha, headed
by Mrs. Heba El-Kady donated a check to the “koloub Mothmera”
Association for the Blind and Their Families to support the initiative
of feeding fasting individuals during Ramadan.

 Support Burn Patients

On February 26, the Inner Wheel Alexandria El-Nozha Club, led by Mrs.
Heba El-Kady donated a skin grafting knife to the Burns Department at
Ras El-Tin General Hospital.

This vital contribution will help enhance treatment quality and improve
recovery outcomes for burn patients.

We commend the club’s ongoing efforts in supporting healthcare
initiatives and wish them continued success in their humanitarian
endeavors.

Child Health Care Project

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,”  Inner Wheel  Club of
Alexandria El Nozha , led by Mrs. Heba El Kady presented a check on
February 3rd to the Alexandria Center for Pediatric Eye Surgery at the
Faculty of Medicine. The donation will be used to purchase medical
eyeglasses for infants suffering from cataracts.

Health Care Project (Donation to Cancer Hospital)
A Step Towards Healing

On January 10, 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Al-Nozha, under
the leadership of Mrs. Heba El-Qadi, made a significant contribution to
Ayadi Al-Mustaqbal Cancer Hospital. The club donated essential
medications and three advanced chemotherapy pumps to support the
hospital’s mission of providing high-quality care to cancer patients.
This initiative exemplifies the club’s steadfast commitment to
community service and its dedication to alleviating the suffering of
those in need.
