IW Of Alexandria Capital Club – students’ clothing exhibition at the Faculty of Medicine

The Alexandria Capital members , headed by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul, and
secretary Dr. Ola Owais, attended the students’ clothing exhibition at
the Faculty of Medicine on March 19 and 20, 2024. Sales proceeds will
benefit the Social Welfare Home for Boys. May our efforts be accepted,
and Ramadan Kareem.

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club .

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital,
led by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul and Secretary Dr. Ola Hamed Ewais,
organized a seminar titled “Egypt and the Economic Crisis” in
collaboration with the Rotary Club of Alexandria Capital, under the
leadership of Mrs. May Khadragy.
This event was conducted in partnership with various Inner Wheel and
Rotary clubs in Alexandria.

The seminar was hosted by Professor Dr. Sayed Elseify, Dean and Finance
Professor at the Faculty of Business, Alexandria University, and
featured distinguished journalist Mr. Ahmed Salem. Notable attendees
included Rotary District Governor Ayman Nazih, along with several past
district governors and leaders from Inner Wheel District 95 and Rotary
District 2451, as well as presidents of participating clubs.

The session commenced with a moment of silence to honor the late
Governor Mounir Thabet, followed by the screening of a documentary
showcasing his legacy. Professor Dr. Sayed Elseify presented a
documentary highlighting Egypt’s current economic status, projecting
future trends until 2030, envisioning Egypt rising to the seventh spot
globally in terms of economic strength.

Journalist Mr. Ahmed Salem discussed the evolving economic landscape in
Egypt, emphasizing the government’s role in incentivizing investors and
streamlining procedures for local and collaborative investments. Rotary
Governor Ayman Nazih stressed the importance of bolstering social
initiatives during this critical period to aid and serve the community

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club- social care home for homeless children donation

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club.

On Saturday, the 24th of February, 2024, the IWC of Alexandria Capital members, led by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul and Honorary Secretary Dr. Ola Owais, donated a television and a receiver to the social care home for homeless children in the presence of Mrs. Heba El Chamy.

They installed and operated the TV in the living room before the holy month of Ramadan to enable the children to watch various programs. Additionally, they donated quantities of fresh meat, heva, sesame paste (tahini), and molasses for the children’s food. The house was also inspected, and efforts to enhance the growth of vegetables and fruits were made. Ramadan Kareem!

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club – Comprehensive Annual Medical Convoy event

IW Of Alexandria Capital Club.

On January 26, 2024, the IWC of Alexandria Capital members organised a significant medical outreach led by president Dr. Nevine Abdel Rasoul & secretary, Dr. Ola Owais, & many board & club members.

The event, entitled “Comprehensive Annual Medical Convoy,” was a collaborative effort with IWC of Alexandria Sporting, under the leadership of Engineer Rayna Allam & other board members.

Taking place in the village of El Wadi at the Volunteer Life Foundation, the convoy ran from 10 am until 5 pm and provided a wide array of medical services, including examinations in ten specializations. A total of 637 free medications were dispensed, and cases requiring surgery were referred to Amiri University Hospital for complimentary procedures.

Dr. Heba Salama, the president of the foundation “Volunteering is the Life,” briefed Inner Wheel members on the organisation’s diverse activities, encompassing initiatives to eradicate illiteracy, promote Quran memorisation, and conduct workshops for crafting quilts, school bags, mattresses, and other household items.

The members also expressed their admiration for the order and cleanliness of the institution and the commendable efforts of those managing the educational project.

Special thanks and appreciation were extended to Professor Dr. Wafaa El Sehly, Convoy Rapporteur at Alexandria University, as well as to all the distinguished doctors and organisers of the comprehensive medical convoy.

IWC Alexandria Capital – Donation for homeless children – sustainable projects

IWC Alexandria Capital .
14th January.
On January 10th, 2024, the members of IWC of Alexandria Capital, led by
Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul, and the secretary, Dr. Ola Owais, commemorated
the 100th anniversary of Inner Wheel by visiting a social care home for
homeless children. They brought joy by donating 40 lunches.
Additionally, they provided essential food supplies such as 50 kilos of
rice, 50 kilos of lentils, 10 kilos of sweets, and 20 kilos of fruit
jam, along with 20 blankets.
The team also distributed dental care items like brushes and toothpaste
and conducted a lecture on dental hygiene by Dr. Ola Owais. This visit
marked the beginning of a monthly commitment to support the home,
recognizing it as a sustainable project for the club’s activities.

Alexandria Capital Club – Social Education House for Boys Care visit

Alexandria Capital Club.

On Wednesday, December 27th, 2023,

In accordance with the national project for environmental preservation and afforestation, Alexandria Capital club members , led by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul, and secretary Dr. Ola Ewais, paid a visit to

the Social Education House for Boys Care

(Social unit for child care).

During the visit, the house was inspected, and various requirements were identified.

Additionally, vegetable seedlings including onions, potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce, and strawberries were planted,

as well as tangerine, lemon, guava, basmala, and pawpaw trees.

This initiative aims to fulfill the living needs of the boys residing in the home.

Alexandria Capital Club – charitable exhibition of clothes for students of the Faculty of Medicine of Alexandria University

Alexandria Capital Club.

On Wednesday and Thursday, December 13th and 14th, 2023,

Members of Alexandria Capital, led by Dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul,

and secretary Dr. Ola Owais, actively participated in a charitable exhibition of clothes for students of the Faculty of Medicine of Alexandria University. This event was organized by the esteemed member, Prof. Dr. Pacint Moez.

It was agreed that the proceeds from the exhibition would be allocated to the environmental protection and agriculture project held at the Social Welfare Home for Homeless Children.

We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all our members who generously donated clothes and made remarkable efforts for this cause.

Alexandria Capital Club – Egyptian Red Crescent visit for Gaza donation

Alexandria Capital Club.

November 14th.

Donations.

The members of IWC “Alexandria Capital” headed by dr. Nevine Abdel
Rassoul visited the Egyptian Red Crescent & contributed a donation of
42500 E.G,

It included basic food items such as rice, lentils, beans, cowpeas,
sugar, powdered milk, mineral water, and diapers for children, women,
and the elderly.

300 wool blankets were also purchased.

Deepest prayers for Peace during these challenging times.

Alexandria Capital Club – Donations for Gaza

Alexandria Capital Club.
November 7th
On Monday, the 6th of November,2023 members of IWC of Alexandria Capital
headed by president dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul, started their
second campaign to donate
for the relief of Palestinians in Gaza.

 The donations amounting to 20,000 were delivered, including a variety
of food items.
Sanitary items were also included.

Alexandria Capital Club – Breast Cancer Awareness month

November 4th
Alexandria Capital Club:-

On Tuesday 31st of October,2023
Members of IWC of Alexandria Capital headed by dr. Nevine Abdel Rassoul,
organised a seminar about “ Breast Cancer Awareness Day” at the
Syrian Club, attended by members of IW and Rotary clubs in Alexandria.
Professor of Surgical Oncology Dr. Ahmed Tarek Awad, and Assistant Dr.
Rana Eimara, public health and nutrition consultant held the meeting.
 Awareness was shed on the importance of the early detection of cancer,
the signs of this disease & how to do self-examination. The indicators
for this, and performing the necessary tests.
 Also methods of prevention, were introduced by following healthy steps,
including nutrition and the importance of exercises.
