Under this year’s theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, the Inner Wheel
Club of Sphinx, led by Mrs. Enas Megahed, donated EGP 10,000 to Abu El
Reesh Children’s Eye Hospital to support premature newborns suffering
from retinopathy of prematurity—a condition caused by incomplete
development of the retina, which requires urgent intervention through
specialized injections.

This critical support may help protect these vulnerable infants from
lifelong blindness. Notably, this is the club’s second donation to the
hospital’s pediatric eye unit, bringing the total contribution to EGP
100,000.

Support Baheya Cancer Hospital

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, under this year’s theme, ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Innerwheel Club of Sphinx, led by Ms. Enas Megahed, visited Baheya Breast Cancer Hospital to sign a contract for the installation of a vital signs monitor for critical care. Several members attended the installation and toured the hospital to learn more about the services provided to the brave women battling breast cancer. The hospital administration also conducted early screenings for some of the members. Our heartfelt thanks go to the hospital administration for their warm reception and the well-organized visit. We wish the Baheya Foundation continued success in its mission to support and heal these courageous women.

Spreading Joy and Generosity by Hosting the Annual Iftar for Orphanage

This news reflects the spirit of generosity and human solidarity
embodied by the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, in collaboration with the
Muslim Women’s Association. Such initiatives strengthen the values of
social solidarity and leave a positive impact on children’s lives,
especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

It was heartwarming to see the joyful atmosphere, as the event was not
limited to the iftar but also included gift distribution and
competitions, making the girls feel happy and cared for. Additionally,
the donation of EGP 34,200 for Iftar is a generous gesture that
demonstrates the club’s commitment to social responsibility.

A heartfelt salute to everyone who contributed to this event and brought
joy to the hearts of the orphanage girls. These acts of kindness are
what make our society warmer and more connected.

Final Instalment Donated for Critical Care Monitor at Baheya Hospital

On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, led by Ms. Enas Megahed, donated the
second and final instalment towards the cost of a critical care vital
signs monitor for Baheya Hospital for Early Detection and Treatment of
Breast Cancer, amounting to EGP 164,000.

Notably, the total cost of the device is EGP 300,000, which has now been
fully covered.

Today, Ms. Enas Megahed and Ms. Soha Salem visited the hospital to
present the final donation instalment
.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this essential
device, which will enhance the free, high-quality medical services
provided to breast cancer patients.

A date will soon be set for the official contract signing and
installation of the device in the critical care unit.

We extend our best wishes for continued success in all charitable
activities that serve the community.

Paranormal Science Symposium

Paranormal Science Symposium.

On Sunday, February 16, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, led by Mrs. Enas Megahed, hosted Dr. Mahmoud
Salah El-Din, a researcher in paranormal sciences, for a symposium on
The New World.

Dr. Salah El-Din explored mysterious and unexplained phenomena, the
post-2019 world, and the effects of COVID-19 vaccines. He also delved
into aspects of ancient civilizations.

The event was attended by a large gathering of club members, guests, and
representatives from other Inner Wheel clubs. Among the distinguished
attendees were Ms. Ghada Rahmy, the D95 editor, and Ms. Abeer Ezzat, a
club member and D95   International Organizer

Following the symposium, attendees celebrated the birthdays of members
born in February over dinner. The evening was filled with warmth,
camaraderie, and engaging discussions, leaving everyone with a memorable
experience.

Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx Hosts Second Charity Bazaar to Support
Students in Need

Under the theme of the year “Heartbeat of Humanity,” Inner Wheel
Club of Sphinx, headed by Mrs. Enas Megahed held its second charity
clothing bazaar of the year on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the Faculty
of Music Education in Zamalek. The event aimed to support students
unable to pay their school fees, with a total donation amounting to
20,000 Egyptian pounds.

In addition to clothing, the bazaar also offered Mother’s Day gifts.
Continuing a cherished tradition, Club President Mrs. Enas Megahed
honored an outstanding student by presenting a special gift to her
mother in celebration of Mother’s Day.

The bazaar was further enriched by the participation of students from
the college’s student union, who contributed to its organization.

Under the theme of the year, “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel
Club of Sphinx, led by Mrs. Enas Megahed has generously donated 20,000
EGP to support the purchase of medical equipment for the “Asdeka El-ghad
El Moshrik” Association for Children with Special Needs, chaired by Mrs.
Shahinaz Fouda.

These devices will enhance the effectiveness of physiotherapy, improving
the quality of care provided to the children.

We extend our heartfelt wishes to the association for continued success
in empowering children, developing their skills, and bringing smiles to
their faces.

On Saturday, January 11, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, led by Mrs. Enas Megahed, in
collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Cairo South and Inner Wheel
Club of Sharm El Sheikh, hosted Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Chairman of District
95 (Egypt and Jordan), at Le Pasha in Zamalek.

The event was attended by prominent figures, including Mrs. Samia Aboul
Fotouh, the National Representative, who emphasized the importance of
attracting young women to join as new members. Also present were Mrs.
Omneya Hanna, Honorary Secretary of the district; Mrs. Hanaa El Sadat,
Vice Chairman of the district; Mrs. Abeer Ezzat, the International
Service Organizer; along with a large number of members from the
participating clubs.

The meeting began with club presidents welcoming Mrs. Abeer Dajani,
followed by presentations from each president on the various projects
and activities planned for the year. In her speech, Mrs. Abeer Dajani
commended the clubs for their diverse initiatives, the efforts exerted,
and the spirit of collaboration among them. She also made a financial
contribution to each club and exchanged commemorative gifts.

During the event, Mrs. Abeer Dajani pinned Mrs. Dalia Hassanein, a new
member of the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, with the official Inner Wheel
pin. The meeting concluded with a friendly lunch, reflecting a spirit of
camaraderie and teamwork among the attendees.

We wish for continued collaboration and success among the Inner Wheel
clubs.

Saturday, January 11, 2025: Un
 Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx , led by Mrs. Enas Magdy, in collaboration
with Inner Wheel Club of Cairo South and Inner Wheel Club of Sharm
El-Sheikh, hosted Mrs. Abeer Dajani , Chairman of District 95 Egypt and
Jordan, for a special meeting aboard the Pasha boat in Zamalek.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Samia Abu El-Fotouh, the D95 National
Representative, who emphasized the importance of recruiting new young
members, Mrs. Omnea Hanaa, Honorary Secretary of the district, Mrs.
Hanaa El-Sadat, Vice Chairman of the district, Mrs. Abir Ezzat,
International Organizer, and a large number of members from the
participating clubs.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the club presidents, who
each presented the various activities and projects for the year. Mrs.
Abir Daghani then gave a speech, praising the different club projects,
the efforts made, and the spirit of cooperation between the clubs.

Mrs. Abeer Dajani donated a financial contribution to each club, and
commemorative gifts were exchanged. In a special moment, she presented
the Inner Wheel badge to Mrs. Dalia Hasnin, a new member of the Inner
Wheel Sphinx Club who joined this year.

The meeting concluded with a meal shared by all, fostering a spirit of
friendship and cooperation. We look forward to continued collaboration
between the different Inner Wheel clubs.

Orphen Care project

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, under the theme” Heartbeat of Humanity,”
the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, headed by Mrs. Enas Megahed, visited the
orphanage affiliated with the Muslim Women’s Association, headed by
our dear colleague, Mrs. Nahed Issa. At her kind invitation to
breakfast, Mrs. Issa provided a brief history of the orphanage at the
beginning of the meeting.During the visit, the members celebrated
Christmas with the children, enjoying music, a magician, and Santa
Claus. Gifts were also distributed.
The club donated 61,500 pounds to the orphanage for a bride. Club member
Mrs. Suzanne Samaha also donated a wedding dress for the orphanage’s
next bride. Mrs. Enas Megahed distributed a bouquet of chocolates to the
club members in appreciation and thanks for the Sphinx family.
It was a day filled with positive energy and love, felt by all
attendees, members, and children.
