IW Of Petra Club .
The Petra IW Club conducted an event on 25/1/2024 under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Aya bint Faisal in collaboration with the Hashemite Jordanian Charity Organization by donating parcels to cover the women’s needs in Gaza.
The initiative led by Ms. Hanadi Al-Aloul.
On January 23rd 2024, Mrs. Dina Alawneh, President of IWC of Petra, along with Mrs. Nadine Al-Muasher, Vice President, Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini, Secretary, and Mrs. Mai Al-Masri, visited The National Center for Agricultural Research, where they were welcomed by Dr. Nizar Haddad, the Director General of the center. During the visit, the IWC of Petra extended support to the “Zero West Garden” project, an initiative within the agricultural innovation and entrepreneurship incubator. This project involves cultivating specific earthworms that consume organic waste, resulting in the production of vermicompost, a high-quality organic fertilizer.
Mrs. Alawneh highlighted that this backing aims to implement and transfer the project’s outcomes to three leading farms to optimize its advantages and promote the use of organic fertilizers.

Inner Wheel Club by Margaret Golding in Cairo.
Over the years, a lasting friendship has united us with our District 95
& our Charitable projects have left a beautiful impact.

Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Fattouh, chairman of District 95 Egypt & Jordan, and
the board for their generous hospitality during our visit to Cairo to
celebrate this joyful occasion.

Representative, and Mrs. Rula Hawi and Mrs. Reem Nazeih for their
sincere efforts and high-level organization, making our stay filled with
happiness and joy.

IWC of Petra donations to King Hussein Cancer Center “KHCC”
1- Participating in covering part of the expenses of treatment at
Al-Hussein Cancer Center for children coming from Gaza by donating 1000
jds
2- Donating 1700 jds in order to purchase a ( Bair Hugger Patient
Warmer) a medical device for cancer patients. This donation is part of
the club’s sustainable project in cooperation with King Hussein
Foundation.

Petra IW Club donated the amount of 1000JDs to the Palestine International Institute which aspires to bind Palestinians in diaspora and expatriates to the homeland, as a contribution to their aid campaign to Gaza.

On November 11/2023, Petra IW Club donated 2000 dinars to the Palestinian Civil Cooperation Foundation, which contributes to the development of Palestinian human capabilities and the preservation of their heritage, in order to contribute to the foundation’s campaign to send humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, the Inner Wheel Club of Petra
organized a charitable fundraising event to provide essential
humanitarian aid to Gaza amidst challenging times through the Hashemite
Aid Fund. The event featured a serene walk through the forests of
Al-Kamaliah area, accompanied by a delightful traditional Palestinian
breakfast. Club members and esteemed guests came together to support
this noble cause, showcasing unity and compassion in action
The Inner wheel club of Petra under the presidency of Mrs. Dina Kababji Alawneh , organized an outdoor running and walking event on Sunday, October 15th, as part of the club’s October Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

This event was held at king Hussein Park in the presence of D95 Vice Chairman, Mrs. Rula Farradj and D95 Webmaster Mrs. Alia Alayyan. All participants gathered for coffee after the run where influencers and Breast Cancer Awareness advocates Mrs. Ghada Zada, Mrs. Lina Sakkijha and volunteer members from Sanad Support Group which works under King Hussein Cancer Foundation were present to share their personal experiences in recovering from the disease and demonstrated the importance of regular check up and early detection.
finally we would like to thank all the participants and our members for their contributions which will be donated to Al Hussein Cancer .
