awarded the prestigious Margarette Golding Award in recognition of her
outstanding humanitarian and community service, both within and beyond
the scope of Inner Wheel.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable community
groups, a delegation led by Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini, accompanied by Club
Secretary Mrs. Suha Khouri and several members of the administrative
board, paid a heartfelt visit on Monday, June 17, 2025, to the Day
Center for the Elderly in the Wadi Al-Haddadeh area – Downtown Amman.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the center’s director and
administrative team. The visit included a tour of the facility and an
introduction to the various programs and services offered to the
elderly. Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini expressed her admiration for the
center’s organization and the care provided to its beneficiaries, and
she spent time listening to the seniors’ rich life stories and
experiences.

In a gesture that reflects the true spirit of service and humanity,
several garden benches were donated to enhance the outdoor
area—providing a safe and comfortable space for the elderly to relax
and enjoy the fresh air.

The initiative was met with deep appreciation and gratitude from both
the center’s staff and its beneficiaries, who expressed heartfelt
thanks for the meaningful support.

 The visit concluded with warm conversations, mutual appreciation, and
memorable photos capturing the spirit of the day.

✨ This initiative, in collaboration with the Greater Amman
Municipality and the Family Development Association, marks a first step
towards future sustainable projects in the field of elderly care, God
willing.

Twinning Agreement with District 242

On May 3rd, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Chairman of Inner Wheel District 95
(Egypt & Jordan), embarked on an official visit to Turkey, accompanied
by a distinguished delegation of esteemed Inner Wheel members from both
countries. The visit marked the formalization of a twinning agreement
with District 242 in Turkey.

The ceremony was held in the refined setting of the Marmara Hotel’s
conference hall, gracefully overlooking the Bosphorus. The event
commenced with the national anthems of Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey,
creating a solemn and respectful ambiance. Mrs. Dajani delivered an
inspiring opening address, followed by heartfelt remarks from the
Chairman of District 242. The two leaders then exchanged flags and
officially signed the twinning agreement, symbolizing a bond of mutual
collaboration and friendship.

A second twinning celebration was also held between the Inner Wheel Club
of Alexandria Cleopatra (Egypt) and the Beyazit Club (Turkey). This
momentous exchange took place virtually via Zoom, with the participation
of both club presidents and the district Chairmen from Egypt, Jordan,
and Turkey.

The ceremony concluded with a spirit of warmth and camaraderie,
accompanied by music, lively conversation, and the forging of new
friendships. The occasion was beautifully captured through commemorative
photographs, preserving the memory of this meaningful and historic
event.

At the kind invitation of Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Chairman of District 95
(Egypt & Jordan), a distinguished group of Inner Wheel members from
Egypt and Jordan traveled to Turkey to formalize a twinning agreement
with District 242.

Set against the backdrop of a city steeped in culture and history, the
visit was more than a ceremonial event—it was a heartfelt journey of
connection and mutual understanding. The charm of the past met the
warmth of the present, as members shared moments of friendship,
elegance, and intercultural exchange.

Attendees delighted in the beauty of the city, the warm hospitality,
delicious cuisine, and the uplifting spirit of joyful weather—all of
which made the experience truly unforgettable.

This gathering beautifully embodied the essence of Inner Wheel: building
bridges across cultures, inspiring unity, and promoting cooperation for
the greater good and lasting peace.

District 95 Egypt and Jordan Book Club Gathering

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, our hearts came together for the fifth Book
Club meeting—one of our beloved gatherings inspired by the 2024–2025
theme, “Heartbeat of Humanity.” This meaningful event was
thoughtfully organized by the Inner Wheel Club of New Cairo, under the
warm guidance of Ms. Lina Shaker, in heartfelt collaboration with Mrs.
Gihan Fahim, the devoted President of the Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City.

We were truly honored to be hosted by Mr. Mustafa Ebeid, the respected
Executive Editor-in-Chief of _Al-Wafd Newspaper_. He graciously shared
profound insights into his latest novel, _”The Dictator’s Daughter”_,
set in 20th-century Egypt—a time of sweeping political and social
transformation. The narrative skillfully intertwined reality and
fiction, presenting readers with a compelling dilemma from beginning to
end. Mr. Ebeid masterfully explored the visible and hidden figures of
the era, inviting us to reflect on the past in order to better
understand our present, and to seek truth in a world where reality and
imagination merge.

The evening was made even more special by the presence of esteemed
guests, including members of the district’s Board of Directors:
Mrs. Awatef El Nasharty, Club Extension Chairman for District 95;
Mrs. Hala Hagras, Past Chairman of District 95; and
Mrs. Reem Nazih, Past International Organizer for District 95.
We were also deeply honored by the participation of Mrs. Siham
El-Gohary, former member of the Board of Directors of the International
Inner Wheel (IIW), and Mrs. Mona Gemie, President of the Inner Wheel
Club of Giza.

Our gratitude extended to the distinguished members of various Rotary
Clubs, as well as our dedicated Book Club members and their cherished
guests. A highlight of the evening was the presence of Mrs. Nihal
ElBakry, founder of the Book Club and Past Deputy National
Representative, who generously presented a symbolic gift to the author
and shared heartfelt Easter gifts with attendees—beautifully prepared
by the young students of the Friends of the Bright Future Association.

This gathering was a true celebration of literature, reflection, and the
enduring bonds of love and friendship that unite us all.

Successful Workshop Organized by District 95 Egypt and Jordan

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance skills and strengthen communication among clubs, District 95 organized a distinguished workshop delivered by  Dr . Awatif Al-Nasharty, the D95 Chairman Extension for the Jordan Clubs Assembly, who has previously conducted numerous seminars and workshops in  Egypt.

The event was also attended by several club presidents and members from Jordan, adding an interactive and enriching atmosphere to the workshop. The presence of Mrs. Suzan Al-Kilani, former NR, further distinguished the gathering.
The workshop concluded with great success, serving as a fruitful opportunity for exchanging experiences and ideas, and contributing to the development of participants’ skills and knowledge in the fields of volunteer and social work.

Flag Exchange

On Friday, April 18th, 2025,  under the heartfelt theme  ‘Heartbeat of Humanity’ set the stage for a moving flag exchange between the IWC of New Cairo, with the presence of Nihal Elbakry, PDNR & PP of IWC of New Cairo, and Pallavi Choksi, Immediate Past District Chairman of the IWC of Bombay Airport and member of the Association Council of IW Clubs of India.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Ashnadelle Hilmy Mortagy, our dedicated PIIW Board Director, whose efforts made our meeting with Pallavi Choksi both genuine and welcoming. Our shared lunch was more than just a meal—it was a beautiful opportunity to strengthen our connections and immerse ourselves in the richness of India’s culture. During this time, we exchanged invaluable insights about our IW clubs, and the flag exchange stood as a heartfelt symbol of the growing bond between us.
We were honored by the presence of Samia Aboul Fotooh, D95 NR, and Mona Aboul Fotooh, PDC, whose contributions brought even more joy to our gathering, making it a truly unforgettable occasion. These moments and the meaningful relationships we are building will always hold a special place in our hearts. We look forward to expanding our friendships with IW members around the world.

Presidential Recognition for Outstanding Community Service .

District 95 (Egypt & Jordan) and all its members extend their heartfelt
congratulations to Mrs. Nani Saleh, member of Inner Wheel Club of Maadi,
and Mrs. Nevine El Ebrashy, member of Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek, on
their well-deserved recognition by the Presidency of the Republic last
week. This honor comes in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in
serving the community through the charitable organizations they founded,
developed, and sustained.

Mrs. Nani Saleh founded “The Alhak Felhaya” Association in 1981, making
it the first organization in Egypt dedicated to caring for people with
disabilities, establishing her as a pioneer in this noble humanitarian
field. Mrs. Nevine El Ebrashy founded “Kheir wa Baraka” in 2004, a
developmental association committed to assisting underprivileged
communities by providing essential support and aid.and She has been the
honorary president until now.

Both associations were selected as the best service organizations in the
country by Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity. Furthermore,
both distinguished members had previously been awarded the “Margaret
Golding Award” by the International Inner Wheel in recognition of their
contributions. This presidential honor on February 2nd serves as yet
another acknowledgement of their remarkable achievements and significant
contributions to community service and development.

Celebrated International Inner Wheel Day

District 95 (Egypt and Jordan) celebrated International Inner Wheel Day in
a joyous and heartwarming atmosphere at the Hilton Heliopolis Hotel,
with a large number of members from both countries in attendance. The
event began with a speech by Mrs. Samia Aboul Fotouh, the National
Representative, who warmly welcomed the attendees and congratulated them
on this annual occasion. She praised the efforts of the district board
members, led by Mrs. Abeer Dajani, and commended the clubs’ projects
that serve the core goals of Inner Wheel—helping those in need and
less fortunate. These projects embodied the year’s theme, Heartbeat of
Humanity, and highlighted the district’s distinguished position
globally through their presentation on social media platforms and the
Inner Wheel International magazine.

In her speech, Mrs. Samia summarized the message of the International
Inner Wheel President, Mrs. Mamta Gupta emphasizes the importance of
membership growth by including young women to ensure the continuity of
Inner Wheel’s mission, especially as the organization embarks on its
second century. Printed copies of Mrs. Gupta’s message were
distributed among the attendees.

This was followed by a heartfelt address from Mrs. Abeer Dajani, the
District 95 Chairman, who expressed her immense joy in celebrating this
special occasion. She warmly welcomed Mrs. Samia Aboul Fotouh, the board
members, club presidents, and all the members, expressing her deep
appreciation for their spirit of love, cooperation, and the hard work
evident in their impactful projects. Mrs. Abeer emphasized her pride in
the clubs’ enthusiastic response to the international president’s
initiatives and their teamwork, which enhanced the district’s
reputation on the global stage.Aditionally she drew attention to
supporting clubs in Egypt to fund a sterilization device for Bahia
Cancer  Hospital, collaborating with Jordanian clubs for Al Hussein
Cancer Center, and developing sustainable projects aligned with the
international leadership goals.

The celebration was further enriched by the presence of Mrs. Iman
Al-Bishari, a member of the International Inner Wheel Board, who
participated in the group photos with the board and the ceremonial
cutting of the celebratory cake. Photos were also taken with club
presidents, and each club captured its memorable moments separately.

The event included a small exhibition showcasing products from
charitable associations affiliated with Inner Wheel clubs, where members
eagerly purchased items to support and encourage these initiatives.
Also, two new members were given an IW badge. The festivities concluded
with a delightful lunch accompanied by live music and saxophone melodies
by the Artist, Rahma, followed by a captivating performance by the
talented singer Khaled Es He enchanted the audience with a selection of
Eastern and Western songs, as attendees swayed to the rhythm,
celebrating in an atmosphere filled with love, friendship, and
happiness.

Al-Bishari, a member of the International Inner Wheel Board, who

Support people with special needs

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” on Sunday, November 17, Mrs.
Abeer Al-Dajani, Chairman of District 95 Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Emmy
Hanna, the Honorary Secretary, and Mrs. Mai Shweihat from Jordan made
their annual visit to each of the Inner Wheel Clubs of Nasr City, headed
by Mrs. Mona Al-Gemay, IWC of Heliopolis, headed by Mrs. Enayat Saad
El-Din, IWC of ElShorouk, headed by Mrs. Mervat Shoukry, who was
represented by Mrs. Zeinab Diaa El-Din, and IWC of New Cairo, headed by
Ms. Lina Shaker, to review their activities during the period from July
to November 2024 and their future plans.

The visit was to the headquarters of the “Asdekaa Elghad Elmoshrek”
Association for the care of people with special needs, headed by Mrs.
Shahinaz Hashem, who is a member of IWC of Nasr City. The Association is
a sustainable project of IWC of Nasr City. Each president gave a
detailed presentation of her club’s activities. The club members also
toured the association’s departments and viewed the various student
classes and workshops. They also viewed the IWC of Nasr City’s
projects in the association for this year, which are the renovation and
development of the swimming pool and the renovation and development of
the agricultural greenhouse. At the end of the visit, Mrs. Abeer
Al-Dajani thanked the club members and their presidents for the efforts
made by each club to strengthen friendships between the members of the
different clubs and to work to help the less fortunate groups in society
with various projects. District95 Chairman presented kind donations to
each club and to the Special Needs Association as well as lollipops and
chocolates to the children of the association.
