Holding an exhibition for charitable projects.

Under the theme ” Heartbeat of humanity,” the Inner wheel Club of
Heliopolis , headed by Mrs. Enayat Saad El-Din organized the club’s
annual bazaar at the Baron Hotel – Heliopolis on Saturday, December 14,
2024, as one of the club’s sustainable project
The bazar was full of familiarity, friendliness, and cooperation with
the guests and club’s members.
The bazaar included many high-quality and diverse exhibits, including
clothes, homemade food, accessories, silverware, and wooden decorations
to fulfil different needs. It is worth noted that all proceeds will be
allocated to support charitable projects.

Friendship Bonding

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria headed by
Mrs. Mona El Hakim, in cooperation with Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria
East, headed by Mrs. Magda Salam celebrated Christmas lunch at Trianon
Restaurant in Raml Station.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice D95 Chairman, Dr. Mervat El
Azouni, the D95 Webmaster, Dr. Amel El-Ghitany, Mrs.Mona Aref Past D 95
Chairman, and a group of distinguished members of Different IWCs of
Alexandria. The place was filled with warmth and unforgotable spirit of
the occasion. Adding to the festive atmosphere was a special performance
by a talented singer and his band who made everyone sway to the tunes.
Members also surrounded the cake where it was cut in celebration of
December births. It is worth noting that the proceeds of the event will
be allocated to the charitable projects of the two clubs. To everyone
who joined us, thank you for making this Christmas lunch an
unforgettable event. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

Elimination of Violence against Women Seminar

District 95: Egypt and Jordan
Elimination of Violence against Women Seminar

Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean, led by Heba Abo Alnasr, on
the 3rd of December, organized a seminar on the elimination of violence
against women.

The event was held in collaboration with the Canal Martyrs Development
Association. The seminar was presented by Dr. Dalia Ahmed El-Sayed, a
family physician at San Stefano Family Health Center, and Ms. Ibtisam
Youssef Mohamed Hassan, a lawyer at the National Council for Women. The
attendance was large, and all the attendees’ questions were answered.

Orphen Care project

Inner Wheel Club of Gezira Sporting, led by Dr. Asrar Al-Barki and the
club members carried out a significant initiative on Tuesday, December
3rd. The initiative included the distribution of 171 winter outfits to
the orphan students of Fatma el Zahraa school Waraq Al-Hadar in Imbaba
(a school is adopted by Inner Wheel Club of Gezira). Additionally,
financial support was provided for workers to support the less fortunate
groups
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time and efforts to
realize this noble humanitarian initiative

Women empowerment project

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, under the theme(Heartbeat of Humanity),
Inner Wheel Club of Tanta , headed by Mrs. Amal Jalal Ezzat, implemented
one of club’s sustainable projects related to (The Breadwinner Woman),
where it purchased some supplies for the manufacture of cleaning
detergents and disinfectants to enable a women to meet her family’s
expenses
The club president was accompanied by Mrs. Ghada Rahmi, the D95 Editor
and Mrs. Amal Abu Hussein, the club’secretary.

Cultural Visit to Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

Tuesday, November 3, the inner wheel Club of Alexandria El Nozha ,
headed by Mrs. Heba El Kady took a trip to Cairo to visit the Grand
Egyptian Museum, which includes around 100,000 ancient artefacts
spanning 7,000 years of Egyptian history . It was a wonderful cultural
visit to the ancient Egyptian civilization near the great pyramids area.
At the end of the visit, the members had lunch at Andrea New Giza
Restaurant in an atmosphere of friendliness and love.

Support people with special needs . Cultural Visit

Monday, December 2, 2024, under the theme of the IW Year 2024-2025,
“HeartBeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel E- Club (IWE-C) of New Cairo,
led by Ms. Lina Shaker organized a cultural and educational trip to the
Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo for students from the Friends of a
“Bright Tomorrow Association for special needs.”

This excursion was timed to coincide with the launch of a new
photography workshop within the association. The itinerary included the
following activities:

1. A lecture by Dr. Jalal Al-Mesiri focused on photography skills,
technical specifications for capturing images, and fundamental
photography principles.
2. An introduction to concepts of Islamic civilization and architecture
presented by a museum expert.
3. A valuable opportunity for each student to capture various
photographs in preparation for a gallery showcasing their work from the
workshop.

After the cultural tour, meals were provided for the students. Following
the trip, students and club members participated in a global campaign,
as requested by the IW D95 Chairwoman, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, by raising the
banner “No to Violence” to support initiatives aimed at eliminating
violence against women.

Christmas party celebration to support Charity.

 On Saturday, December 7, 2024
The annual Christmas party of Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria
Mediterranean, presided by Mrs. Heba Abu El-Nasr was held at the Royal
Hall. The event was attended by the D95 Vice Chairmn Dr. Mervat
El-Ezzouni, the D95 Webmaster, Dr. Amal El-Ghitany, and the club’s
founder, Dr. Viola Ramsis, who was the District Vice President for the
2023-2024 term. Members of Inner Wheel Clubs in Alexandria, Rotary Clubs
in Alexandria, and distinguished Alexandrian social figures were also
present.

All the attendees enjoyed the DJ Mohamed Fouad and the elegant duet of
Peter and Sara. Additionally, the event included a bazaar showcasing
exquisite products, tombola awards for the winners, and a celebration of
December birthdays.

All the party’s proceeds are going to charity.

Elimination of Violence against Women Awareness Seminar .

Under the theme “ Heartbeat of Humanity,” Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Cleopatra, led by Soheir Fahmy and Honorary Secretary Doaa
Hamdy, organized a seminar on “Violence Against Women,” in occasion
of orange the workd 16-day’s .The seminar was delivered by Dr. Magda
El-Shazly, Head of the National Council for Women in Alexandria. The
number of the attendees was significant with an active interaction, with
Dr. Magda who answered all the questions and inquiries from the
attendees.

The seminar was honoured by the presence of Dr. Mervat Al-Azouni,
District 95 (Egypt and Jordan) Vice Chairman; Dr. Viola Ramsis, founder
of Inner Wheel Club of Cleopatra ; Dr. Susan Mounir, President of the
Sary Foundation, a group of Alexandria’s Inner Wheel Clubs’ presidents
and members, also prominent women from Alexandria’s society.
It was a productive and insightful seminar.

CULTURAL SEMINAR

CULTURAL SEMINAR.

On Saturday, December 7, 2024
The second Book Club meeting for the 2024-2025 year, themed
“HeartBeating with Humanity,” was convened by the IWC of New Cairo,
under the leadership of Ms. Lina Shaker, in partnership with the IWC of
Nasr City, chaired by Mrs. Mona Al Gimiee. The distinguished Dr. Reem
Bassiouni was invited to discuss her literary works, which include
*Mario & Abu Al-Abbas*, and *The Diver*.

The primary focus of the discussion was the life of Imam Abu Hamid
Al-Ghazali, a significant figure of his time and a respected Muslim
scholar and philosopher of the fifth century AH. The narrative examined
his journey from his birthplace in Tus, Persia, to his appointment as
the Imam of Baghdad, exploring the questions and challenges he faced
that influenced his intellectual progression.

The meeting was honored by the presence of Mrs. Awatif Al-Nasharti,
Extension Chairman of District 95, and Mrs. Siham El Gohary, Past Board
of Directors member of the IIW
 Additionally, Book Club members, their guests, and Mr. Helmy Al-Saeed,
Past President of the Nasr City Rotary Club, along with several members
of the Rotary Club, were in attendance.

After this insightful session, a symbolic gift was presented to the
author, along with a commemorative token for all attendees, marking the
tenth anniversary of the Book Club, which was founded in 2015 by Mrs.
Nihal ElBakry, the Past Deputy National Representative and Past
President of the IWC of New Cairo.
