On Sunday, April 27, 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Amman/Petra, chaired
by Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini and joined by members of the board and general
assembly, warmly welcomed Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Chairman of District 95
(Egypt & Jordan), for a cordial and fruitful gathering that showcased
the club’s key achievements.

During the meeting, Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini presented a comprehensive
overview of the club’s most notable sustainable projects and recent
initiatives, in addition to the charitable contributions and activities
carried out throughout the 2024–2025 Inner Wheel year—reflecting the
club’s deep commitment to its humanitarian and social mission.

Mrs. Abeer Dajani delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the core
values of Inner Wheel and the vision of District 95 in supporting clubs
and strengthening their impact in the community.

The event concluded with a warm and delightful breakfast, where the
attendees shared conversations and reflections in an atmosphere of
camaraderie and mutual appreciation.

District 95 Chairman’s Visit to the Inner Wheel Club of Garden City

The Inner Wheel Club of Garden City, headed by Mrs. Didi El Sourani, had the honor of welcoming District 95 Chairman, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, on April 13th aboard El Basha boat, in the presence of several Inner Wheel clubs.

The event was attended by a large number of members. A video presentation showcased the club’s achievements during the 2024–2025 Inner Wheel year, including activities, donations, joint meetings with other clubs, and trips organized for members.

At the end of the gathering, the District Chairman presented a gift to the club in appreciation of its outstanding efforts and contributions.

Successful Workshop Organized by District 95 Egypt and Jordan

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance skills and strengthen communication among clubs, District 95 organized a distinguished workshop delivered by  Dr . Awatif Al-Nasharty, the D95 Chairman Extension for the Jordan Clubs Assembly, who has previously conducted numerous seminars and workshops in  Egypt.

The workshop concluded with great success, serving as a fruitful opportunity for exchanging experiences and ideas, and contributing to the development of participants’ skills and knowledge in the fields of volunteer and social work.

Flag Exchange

On Friday, April 18th, 2025,  under the heartfelt theme  ‘Heartbeat of Humanity’ set the stage for a moving flag exchange between the IWC of New Cairo, with the presence of Nihal Elbakry, PDNR & PP of IWC of New Cairo, and Pallavi Choksi, Immediate Past District Chairman of the IWC of Bombay Airport and member of the Association Council of IW Clubs of India.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Ashnadelle Hilmy Mortagy, our dedicated PIIW Board Director, whose efforts made our meeting with Pallavi Choksi both genuine and welcoming. Our shared lunch was more than just a meal—it was a beautiful opportunity to strengthen our connections and immerse ourselves in the richness of India’s culture. During this time, we exchanged invaluable insights about our IW clubs, and the flag exchange stood as a heartfelt symbol of the growing bond between us.
We were honored by the presence of Samia Aboul Fotooh, D95 NR, and Mona Aboul Fotooh, PDC, whose contributions brought even more joy to our gathering, making it a truly unforgettable occasion. These moments and the meaningful relationships we are building will always hold a special place in our hearts. We look forward to expanding our friendships with IW members around the world.

Celebrating Orphan’s Day

Under the heartfelt theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Innerwheel Club of Gezira, led by Dr. Asrar El Barky, along with Vice President Suzy Nagga, Honorary Secretary Nehal El Refaie, and Ghada Khalil, welcomed 100 students from Fatima Al-Zahraa School — a school the club has supported since 2003 — on Saturday, April 19, to celebrate Orphan’s Day with a special outing to attend the puppet show “Marwan and the Pomegranate Seed” at the Cairo Puppet Theatre in Attaba.
As a kind gesture to bring joy to the children, the club distributed sweet treat bags generously donated by Edita.
Sincere thanks go to all who contributed and donated, and deep appreciation to the club president and esteemed members for their noble efforts and compassionate spirit.

A Joyful Gathering of Friendship and Harmony by the Shores of Alexandria

In an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy, the Inner Wheel Clubs of Alexandria had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Abeer Dajani, Chairman of District  95 Egypt & Jordan, along with the esteemed Jordanian delegation and a distinguished group of Inner Wheel members from various clubs across Egypt. The gathering was further graced by the presence of Mrs. Samia Aboul Fotouh, the National Representative, whose participation added a special charm to this cordial occasion.
The gathering was held at “Sea Side” seafood restaurant, where everyone enjoyed a delightful array of fresh seafood dishes, embraced by the enchanting view of Alexandria’s shimmering sea and the refreshing spring breeze. The evening’s ambiance was made even more captivating with the soothing melodies of live oud music, adding a warm and artistic touch to the occasion.
The evening was enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine friendship and heartfelt affection, reflecting the deep bonds of sisterhood and camaraderie among the Inner Wheel members. It was a gathering that reaffirmed the belief that true connections transcend borders of time and place, uniting hearts in love, harmony, and shared purpose — a journey forever guided by the values of “Friendship, Service, and Love without Borders.”

A Memorable Royal Montaza Garden Tour

At the conclusion of the District Chairman’s visit to the Inner Wheel Clubs of Alexandria, a delightful golf cart tour commenced through the enchanting grounds of Montaza Royal Gardens — the “Oasis of Kings” on Alexandria’s coastline, and one of the most renowned and historic royal gardens in Egypt. Spanning over 300 acres, these magnificent gardens are adorned with lush, sprawling trees, rare plants, and elegant royal palaces built in timeless European style, most notably the historic Montaza Palace.
The guests enjoyed a serene journey amidst the beauty of nature and the fragrance of history, pausing for moments of rest and a refined tea gathering at the charming Royal Tea Island, where everyone came together in an atmosphere of warmth and joyful companionship.
The visit concluded in the most picturesque way, embraced by the soothing melodies of the sea and the vibrant colors of blooming flowers — a scene destined to remain etched in memory, a testament to the enduring bonds of friendship and the timeless joy found in hearts united by kindness and affection.

Annual Interclubs Meeting of the Inner Wheel Clubs of Alexandria and Damanhour

The official annual meeting to review the 2024–2025 projects of the Inner Wheel Clubs of Alexandria and Damanhour was held on Monday, 14th April 2025, at the prestigious Palestine Hotel in the enchanting city of Alexandria, “the Bride of the Mediterranean Sea”, with the esteemed presence of distinguished leaders and valued club members.
The gathering commenced with the ceremonial playing of the national anthems of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, creating a festive and heartfelt atmosphere that reflected a spirit of unity and belonging.
Following this, Dr. Mervat El Azzouny, Vice Chairman of the District, graciously delivered the opening address, warmly welcoming the honorable attendees, most notably Mrs. Samia Aboul Fotouh, National Representative, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, District Chairman, and the distinguished members of the participating clubs.
Dr. El Azzouny then introduced the presidents of the clubs according to the founding dates of their respective clubs, elegantly highlighting the history and continuous contributions of each club to its community.
She subsequently invited Mrs. Samia Aboul Fotouh, the National Representative, to address the gathering. In her speech, Mrs. Aboul Fotouh expressed her deep appreciation for the tireless efforts of the clubs, praising their remarkable humanitarian and community initiatives and their honorable representation of the District both nationally and internationally.
Next, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, District Chairman, addressed the audience, extending her sincere gratitude to her esteemed District Board and expressing her pride in the purposeful projects and impactful initiatives accomplished by the clubs. She emphasized that these achievements reflect the power of collective action and the noble values of solidarity and service.
In a gracious gesture of appreciation, a symbolic gift was presented to Mrs. Abeer Dajani in recognition of her dedicated efforts and continuous commitment throughout the year. Additionally, she generously offered financial support to each club to assist them in advancing their charitable and community initiatives, thereby contributing to the sustainability of their noble mission.
The day’s proceedings concluded in an atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie, as the attendees enjoyed a delightful luncheon accompanied by soft musical tunes, while capturing memorable photographs to commemorate this distinguished occasion.
This meeting stands as a true embodiment of the values of collaboration and solidarity among the clubs of District 95, reaffirming the leadership’s commitment to nurturing and advancing club activities in pursuit of their noble humanitarian and social objectives. World Health Day Celebration

In celebration of World Health Day and under the inspiring theme ” Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner Wheel Club of Amman hosted an enlightening health awareness lecture on Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. The lecture was delivered by Mrs. Leen Madanat on April 15, 2025, at the Orthodox Club in Amman.

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Mrs. Khuloud Al-Sakkaf, former Minister of Investment and Vice President of Al-Oun for Alzheimer’s Patient Care Association, as well as Mrs. Lina Husseini, President of Inner Wheel Club Petra. On this occasion, Mrs. Fadia Yared extended her warm congratulations to Mrs. Suzan Kilani on her appointment as a Board Director at International Inner Wheel for the term 2025–2026.

Before the lecture commenced, three new members were welcomed into the club and presented with Inner Wheel pins, bringing the total number of new members for the 2024–2025 year to twelve. The addition of fresh voices and diverse talents to the club was met with great enthusiasm and optimism for the future.

Mrs. Madanat’s lecture provided an in-depth overview of Alzheimer’s Disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disorder and the most common cause of dementia. The presentation covered risk factors, early signs, stages of progression, diagnosis, current treatment options, and preventive strategies. Emphasis was placed on lifestyle choices such as physical activity, social engagement, and nutrition as potential factors to reduce risk and slow disease progression.

Attendees actively participated in memory stimulation exercises designed to raise awareness of cognitive health. The atmosphere was bright and uplifting, with each table adorned with colorful napkins and floral centerpieces. Branded Inner Wheel notebooks and pens were distributed as keepsakes, reflecting the club’s commitment to both education and fellowship.

In recognition of her valuable contribution, Mrs. Fadia Yared, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Amman, presented Mrs. Leen Madanat with a Certificate of Appreciation, acknowledging the significant impact of her lecture on enhancing knowledge and promoting community health awareness.

Connecting Nature, Wellness, and Human Bonds

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity”, and inspired by the Inner Wheel Club of Amman/Petra’s commitment to supporting local projects, fostering social bonds, and recognizing the profound connection between nature and mental well-being, the club organized a warm nature hike on the morning of April 9, 2025. The event was initiated by Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini and attended by members of the administrative board.
The hike was joined by friends of Petra Club, along with Mrs. Fadia Yard, President of the Inner Wheel Club of Amman, making it a special occasion that beautifully blended physical activity, inner peace, and meaningful companionship.
The journey began in the Dibeen Forests, where spirits rose alongside towering trees touching the sky, and footsteps moved in harmony with the songs of birds. The group followed scenic trails through the lush Burma Forests, reaching a breathtaking view of King Talal Dam, where clear blue waters embrace the green mountains in a view that delights the heart and soothes the soul.
Midway through the hike, everyone paused for a peaceful rest — gathering under the shade of ancient trees, enjoying the cool breeze and the serenity of nature.
The day concluded with warmth and simplicity at Um Mustafa’s Restaurant, a charming countryside eatery rich in authenticity and one of Petra Club’s sustainable community projects. The club continuously supports this initiative financially, believing in the importance of empowering women and encouraging them to develop their small businesses. The group gathered around a table filled with delicious traditional dishes, closing the day with unforgettable flavors, warm memories, and deep gratitude for an experience that seamlessly connected nature, wellness, and genuine human connection.
