Joint meeting for the development of personal skills

 Under the theme “ Heartbeat of Humanity”, on Wednesday, October 16,
Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona El-Gemaei
participated in attending a workshop entitled “Think Big” to develop
personal skills, which was held by Rotary Club of Cairo North, headed by
Mrs. Hanaa El-Sadat and presented by Assistant Governor Mahmoud Abu
El-Hassan, a member of the Personal Skills

October 19th, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean, under their
president Heba Abul Nasr, and under the theme (Heartbeat of Humanity),
in collaboration with “Ayady Elmostakble 4040 Hospital” and ” Heiba
Ezzat ​​Association”, headed by Yasmine El-Selkawy, held a party for
young cancer patients who are still receiving treatment and also who are
already recovered. The club provided meals and some school supplies for
the children in an atmosphere of joy and happiness for everyone.

Bonding Friendship with IW Branding

Mrs. Abeer Dajani – Chairman of District 95 (Egypt & Jordan) threw a
lavish dinner with live music on the terrace of the Intercontinental
Hotel in Cairo overlooking the great Nile River and the fascinating
beauty of Cairo city on September 24th, 2024.

Mrs. Dajani meant to start the IW year with positive friendship bonding
between District Board members, National Representative – Samia Aboul
Fotouh, IIW Board member – Iman Bashari, PIIW Board Directors of
District 95, Past National Representatives, Past Chairmen 95, all
Presidents of Egypt & Jordan clubs, and all IW attendees held posts or
are now holding current posts, as well as the wife of the Jordanian
ambassador in Cairo.

Also, the Chairman keened publishing the IW logo on napkins and on
souvenir gifts. The attendees were 83 delegates, and all of them enjoyed
the beautiful songs of the band in an ambience of joy and happiness.

Women empowerment

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, under the theme of “Heartbeat of Humanity,”
the Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek, headed by Mrs. Sanaa Eid visited the
workshop established by the club at 6 October City with the aim of
supporting females supporting families and helping them to keep pace
with the development of the labour market. The visit was in the presence
of Mrs. Samia Aboul-Fotouh, the National Representative, and a number of
honourable members. The club equipped the workshop with all the basic
supplies, including the best singer sewing, overlocker, buttonholes and
buttons, ironing equipment, and necessary production supplies. Fifteen
ladies are currently working in this workshop after being thoroughly
trained to produce a final high-quality product to compete with local
factories producing and manufacturing ready-made clothes. The club is
looking forward to expanding the business and increasing the number of
machines and trainees.

On Wednesday, October 2, Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria East , headed by
Mrs. Magda Salam organized a cultural and recreational trip to visit the
Grand Egyptian Museum . The members took a guided tour around the
museum, where the tour guide introduced the attendees to valuable
information about this museum, which includes many valuable and
distinguished artifacts. Then, everyone headed to have lunch at Andrea
New Giza Restaurant. It was a pleasant trip, filled with love and
friendship.

Health awareness project IWC of Gezira

On October 4th, IWC of Gezira, headed by Dr. Asrar Al-Barqi held a joint
medical seminar with Rotary Clubs (Rotary Cairo Fairways, Rotary Gezira
Club, Rotary Giza Karnak, and Eva Pharma). The speakers were a group of
specialists in immunology, rheumatology, and orthopaedic surgery. The
attendees were numerous, including members of Rotary and IW Clubs. The
seminar was a success with the intent of hopefully raising health
awareness.

Collaborate across different cultures

Collaboration across different Cultures.

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” and in line with the 3-years
2024-2027 IIW social project “Reach and Inspire for a Better World,”
The IWC of Alexandria headed by Mrs. Mona El Hakim organised a visit to
the Chinese Consulate in Alexandria. In the hospitality of the Consul
General of China, Mr. Yang Yi, who presented an interactive lecture
about “Women and Society in China” and explained the different aspects
of life in China. He also emphasised the importance of cultural
diversity and the possibility of future collaboration between Egyptian
and Chinese organisations to bridge the gap between these two great
cultures.

The visit was attended by the Board Members of the IWC of Alexandria and
the IW Vice-Chairman of District 95 (Egypt & Jordan) Dr. Mervat El
Azzouny, who spoke about the activities and social services of the IW
clubs. District 95 Webmaster, Dr. Amel El Ghitany, Past District 95
Chairman, Mrs. Samia Hatata, and Past District 95 Chairman,Mrs. Mona
Aref were attending.

The visit was also attended by representatives from the IW clubs of
Alexandria; Mrs. Magda Sallam – President of IWC Alexandria East, Mrs.
Heba El Kady – President of IWC Alexandria ElNozha, Mrs. Amani Selim –
President of IWC Alexandria Sporting and Mrs. Dina El Hadary – Vice
President of IWC Alexandria Sporting. Mrs. Mona El Hakim handed the Club
flag & shield to the Consul General of China, thanking him for his kind
hospitality. Consul/ Yang Yi thanked the IW members for their attendance
and handed them symbolic Chinese gifts.

Brunch IWC of Amman at Nawwara Restaurant North Jordan

Under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity “,On September 17,IWC of Amman
President Ms Fadia Yared and her distinguished committee held a warm
get-together brunch to strengthen friendship and bonding among its
members on a delicious local food in the beautiful countryside of
Jordan. District 95 Chairman Abeer Dajani, District 95 treasurer. Mrs
Suhair Migdadi and President of IWC of Philadelphia, Mrs Maha Shaaban,
attended the gathering with the majority of club members and IW friends.

“Branding” with the IW logo was significant on the distributed wet wipes
and IW banner.

All were enchanted by talented singer performing famous Arabic songs
that thrilled the hearts and danced on the beat.

International Literacy Day project IW Alexandria Capital Club

On Saturday, 8, 2024, coinciding with International Literacy Day and our
IW theme “Heartbeat of Humanity” and one of its goals, Nurturing
Orphans ,
Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital ,District 95, headed by Dr.
Nevine Abdel Rassoul organized and supervised the official literacy exam
for the orphans of “Social Welfare Home for Boys” in the Arabic
language and Mathematics under the inspection of
the Egyptian Ministry of Education officials .
