Inner Wheel Club D95

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, headed by
Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry and Inner Wheel Club of Tanta, headed by Mrs. Amal
Ezzat, held their annual celebration at the Steigenberger Hotel in Ras
El Bar City, with the presence of Mrs. Abeer Dajani, district 95 Egypt
and Jordan Chairman, accompanied by an esteemed delegate from different
IWCs members of Jordan.The ceremony began with the Egyptian and
Jordanian national anthems, then a minute of silence for the soul of
Mrs. Abeer Dajani’s nephew, may he rest in peace. Then, the President of
Mansoura Club welcomed the attendees, and the two presidents spoke and
presented the projects and activities that have been completed, as well
as the projects and activities planned to be implemented until the end
of the year. The Chairman of the district gave her speech and praised
the implemented projects and activities, and stressed the need to
implement the theme of the year by paying attention to orphanages and
the elderly and working to visit them and bring joy to their hearts.
Memorial gifts were exchanged between the head of the district and the
heads of the two clubs, and Mrs. Abeer Dajani presented a cash amount to
the two clubs as a contribution to their charitable projects.
Everyone had lunch to the tunes of the saxophone in a cheerful
atmosphere of friendship and joy. Many thanks to the head of the
district, Mrs. Abeer Dajani, and to the clubs that honored us with their
presence: Amman, Philadelphia and Petra from Jordan, and the clubs of
Tanta, Cairo, Giza, Al-Ahram, Al-Nil, Sphinx, Tahrir, Cairo North,
Garden City, Heliopolis, Al-Gezira, Nasr City, Port Said, Minya,
Alexandria and Alexandria East. Here’s to more success for all clubs and
a happy new year to everyone .The group spent two days enjoying the
scenic views and sea trip in an atmosphere of familiarity and
friendliness.

On November 11th, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Nozha Club, headed
by Mrs. Heba El-Qadi delivered 100 sticks to the “Kouloub Mothmera”
Association for the Blind to help them move. The club also handed over a
check to perform 20 cataract operations for the association.

Under the theme of “Heartbeat of humanity,”
The IWC of Port Said invited Dr. Amel El Sissi (Professor at Cairo
University) and the one assigned to this topic in Egypt to raise
awareness briefly to the audience on preventive methods and early
detection of Cervical Cancer and its three steps of cure. The seminar
was attended by the president of the IWC of Port Said, Mrs/ Maha El
Mogy, and a group of club’s members and their esteemed guests. It was a
valuable and fruitful seminar. We hope to raise more awareness and
obtain active responses.

On Sunday, November 3rd, under the theme ‘ Heartbeat of Humanity,’
the Inner Wheel Club of Giza Pyramids, led by Ms. Iman Selim organized a
Nile cruise. Members and presidents from different IW clubs and of
District 95, Egypt and Jordan, including past District 95 Chairmen Mrs.
Afaf Maged and Mrs. Mona Abu El Fotouh participated and enjoyed the
beautiful weather overlooking the magnificent Nile.

After a delightful cruise and spending a pleasant time,
 a lunch was held at the Cairo Yacht Club, followed by a birthday
celebration for members born in October and November. The event was
filled with pure friendship and love, the core values of the Inner Wheel
organization.

On Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, under the theme of ” the Heartbeat of
humanity ” Alexandria Cleopatra Club headed by Soheir Fahmy and honorary
secretary Doaa Hamdy, paid the tuition fees for students faculty of
Engineering (Alexandria University).
Where Professor Dr. Essam mostafa wahba, the acting Dean, and professor,
Dr Mohamed refaii received and thanked the club for the initiative help
and support.

Many thanks to Doaa Hamdy , Maha Halbouny , Mounira Esway , and all club
members who contributed to the completion of this work. May God accept
good deeds.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Inner Wheel Club of Giza, led by Mrs.
Mona Gemei, in collaboration with Rotary Landmark, the 6th of October
Club hosted the distinguished writer, Dr. Osama El Shazly. He spoke
about the history of the Holy Land (ancient history), and it was evident
to the attendees how proficient Dr. Osama is in understanding history.
He has many publications in this field, most notably The Story of
Shimon’s Papers.

It was a rich seminar and a sophisticated and impactful gathering.
All appreciation and thanks to the great writer and all attendees.

On Wednesday 6 / 11 /2024, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” IWC
of Philadelphia, headed by Mrs. Maha Shaban and honoured by the presence
of District 95 Egypt and Jordan Chairman Mrs. Abeer Dajani, met with
Mrs. Jathal Al-Hindawi (President of the Charitable Association: We Make
the Difference) in “Umm Al-rasas” south Jordan and handed her an amount
of money to cover some of the association’s needs, in addition to some
clothes suitable for all ages.
Ms. Jathal thanked the Philadelphia Club for their generosity.

On Saturday, the 2nd of Nov 2024, at the Syrian club of Alexandria under
the theme (Heartbeat of Humanity), IWC of Alexandria East headed by Mrs
Magda Salaam hosted the famous Egyptian writer Reem Bassiouny, Professor
and head of the Linguistics Department the American University of Cairo
to discuss her new novel (Al Ghawas). The book talks about the
philosopher Abou Hamed el Ghazaly, his search of certainty giving up
wealth and positions, and adopting Sofi thoughts. Everyone enjoyed the
interactive, fruitful discussion. Mrs Magda Sallam also presented to the
new member, Mrs Doha Haggag, the badge of the Inner wheel. We were
honoured by the presence of Dr. Mervat El Azzouni, District 95 Egypt and
Jordan Vice Chairman, Mrs Sherifa Sakr, past Chairman of District 95
Egypt and Jordan, National Representative and former member of the
International Inner wheel. Mrs Mona el Hakim, president of Inner Wheel
Club of Alexandria and Mrs Heba el Kadi, head of Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Nozha.

Cultural Visit celebrating world Cities day.
Support Children with Special needs.

On the Occasion of the World Cities Day and in line with the celebration
the selection of Alexandria, Egypt, as the City of Cities by UNESCO on
October 31 the first anniversary of the opening of the Greco-Roman
Museum, , Inner Wheel Club of Damanhour participated with the museum in
some celebrations, including a workshop for some children with special
needs and attending lectures by archaeologists.

DISTRICT 95 EGYPT&JORDAN CULTURAL SEMINAR.

On Saturday, October 19, at the Baron Hotel
under the theme ( Heartbeat of Humanity), a new meeting for the Book
Club headed by Mrs. Nihal El-Bakry, the founder of IWe-C of new Cairo,
the IWC of Nasr City, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Gemaei and the IWC of New
Cairo headed by Ms. Lina Shaker hosted the writer Ahmed Al-Morsi to
discuss the novel (A Conspiracy Against Lady Mitsy’s Honour) .. .The
book talks about conflicts of interest and struggles and who will
prevail in the end, personal interest or public interest?
Everyone enjoyed the interactive interesting discussions.Among of the
attendees, there were
Mrs. Emmy Hanna, The Honorary Secretary of District 95, Mrs. Mona Abu
Al-Fotouh, the previous District Chairman , and a group of members of
the book club, members of the two clubs, and their guests .
