IW Of Petra Club – Eid Outfits and Ramadan Iftar

Inner Wheel Club of Petra presided by Mrs. Dina Alawneh organized a
shopping trip to 105 underprivileged and orphaned children to buy their
Eid outfits. The trip was followed by a Ramadan Iftar. The club
president, club secretary Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini and club treasurer Mrs.
Seneen Baghdadi accompanied the children during this joyful event. The
children’s faces were beaming with happiness .

Gezira Sporting Club – Fatima Al Zahra School” in Wara’ak Al Hadar visit

Gezira Sporting Club.
Influenced by the ideals of Inner Wheel Gezira Sporting Club, which
advocates for supporting and aiding deserving communities, especially in
a society that thrives on collective efforts for the greater good,
respected member Mrs. Wafa Zaki visited “Fatima Al Zahra School” in
Wara’ak Al Hadar on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in line with Ramadan the
holy month and the Orphan Day.
Mrs. Zaki distributed cash to each of the 80 students at the school,
enabling them to purchase Eid attire and experience joy. Furthermore,
monetary assistance was extended to the school’s staff.
It is our hope that IW Gezira Sporting Club’s involvement has
contributed to the well-being and happiness of those priority groups
through its ongoing support and compassion.

IW Of Tanta Club – the Institute for the Blind in Tanta donation

IW Of Tanta Club.
On Sunday, March 31, 2024, Mrs. Amal Jalal Ezzat president of Tanta IW
Club, along with Mrs. Heba Hammad, the club’s secretary, Mrs. Omaima
Nassar, Treasurer, visited the Institute for the Blind in Tanta,
delivering a Ramadan grant to 74 families totaling 22,200 pounds,
equating to 300 pounds per family. May our good deeds be accepted by
God. We are thankful.

IWC of New Egypt/Heliopolis – inauguration of three women’s literacy chapters in Mansouria and Ezbet Abdel Samad

In March 2024 & under this year’s “Illuminate” theme saw the
inauguration of three women’s literacy chapters in Mansouria and Ezbet
Abdel Samad. A collaboration between Inner Wheel clubs of New Egypt led
by Mrs. Salwa Salim, Mrs. Azza El Mofty, and Mrs. Maha Sorour. provided
educational resources like books, school bags & stationary. They
celebrated events with students. Also a plan to hold final exams in June
for successful students to enroll in first-year preparatory classes for
next year. Best wishes for success to the students and good luck to the
IW clubs in their charitable efforts.

IW Of Amman Philadelphia Club – health center of Gaza camp in Jerash visit

IW Of Amman Philadelphia Club.
“Continuity of support for previous projects is one of the most
important aspect we shine a light on this year.”
Today, Wednesday 17 / 4 the committee members of Philadelphia Inner
Wheel Club, headed by Mrs. Hanan Ghawi, visited the health center of
Gaza camp in Jerash to evaluate the preparation of the isolated room for
audiograms for children and the elderly as a completion to the nose and
throat clinic.
The committee members visited the former health center, which the club
established last year, headed by our past president Mrs. Doha Bushnaq ,
where they reviewed the progress of work and met the children who
benefited from the physical therapy.

Our journey to provide the rest of the devices to the hearing clinic
continues .
God, grant us success .

IW Of Petra Club – Ramadan suhoor event

In celebration of Ramadan and in honor of the centenary of the
International Inner Wheel, IWC of Petra under the leadership of Mrs.
Dina Kababji Alawneh, hosted a Ramadan suhoor event at the Olea
restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel. We were privileged to have Mrs.
Jumana El Masri, International Inner Wheel Board Director, Mrs. Nahla
Qubain Suweiss, the National Representative in D95 Egypt and Jordan,
Mrs. Alia Aliyan, the webmaster in D95, and Mrs. Nuha Asfour, the
president of the IWC of Amman. Mrs. Alawneh, the club president,
commenced the evening with a speech honoring the Inner Wheel’s
centennial, expressing gratitude to the attendees, club presidents, and
members for their dedication, and extending blessings for the holy
month, praying for relief for the people in Gaza.
Mrs. El Masri and Mrs. Qubain Suweiss recognized the club’s founders,
Mrs. Alia Abu al-Ragheb and Mrs. Ghania Al-Tayeh, followed by
acknowledging the 17 presidents who served since its inception. Mrs.
Nuha Asfour, president of IWC of Amman received an appreciation gift for
receiving the IIW Margaret Golding Award. The event concluded with a
“Questions and Answers” session hosted by past club president Mrs. Mona
Hamza Abu al-Ragheb, where attendees enjoyed prizes amidst the Ramadan
ambiance. The evening ended with suhoor and hopeful wishes for continued
success to the club

IW Of Mansoura Club – International Women’s Day celebration

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, Mrs. Shadia Al-Ashry, President of
Innerwheel Mansoura, attended the International Women’s Day
celebration hosted by District chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Al-Futouh, at the
Salah El-Din Hall/ Cairo Sheraton Hotel.
Many board members attended the event with several past district
presidents, former national delegates, and numerous Innerwheel club
members.
During the ceremony, the District chairman presented certificates of
appreciation to members who have significantly contributed to their
clubs through their dedication and excellence. Additionally, she honored
selected members with the Pin Honored Active award from Innerwheel
International, recognizing their outstanding efforts and commitment over
the years.
The Mansoura Club nominated Mrs. Fatma Al-Haqaa, a former club president
and a guiding figure among the members, as well as Mrs. Iman Tarshoubi,
a past club president and former bulletin editor for Area 95, Egypt and
Jordan, to receive the Pin Honored Active award. Congratulations to the
two exceptional members of Innerwheel Mansoura, and best wishes to all
members.
The gathering concluded with a Ftar filled with love, friendship, and
joy, wishing a Happy Ramadan to all.

IW Of Nasr City Club – Egyptian Women’s Day and female martyrs of 1919 Revolution celeberation

The Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, under the slogan “Shine a Light,”
took part in District 95 Egypt and Jordan’s celebration on March 16,
commemorating Egyptian Women’s Day and the female martyrs of the 1919
Revolution. Several club members received certificates of appreciation
for their dedication.
Some were awarded by receiving the Honorary Active Member pin. Notably,
Mrs. Seham El Gohary, the club’s founder and former District 95 Egypt
and Jordan Chairman, was recognized, alongside with Mrs. Nihal ElBakry,
the former club president and founder of the Inner Wheel Club of New
Cairo. The event was marked by performances from the Mawlawiyya and
Tanoura band along with “oud”music, fostering a warm atmosphere of
camaraderie and joy.

IW Of Amman Club – Iftar celebration marking both the holy month of Ramadan and Mother’s Day

Amman Inner Wheel Club gathered at Romero restaurant on Saturday, March
16th, 2024, for an Iftar celebration marking both the holy month of
Ramadan and Mother’s Day. President Nuha Asfour warmly welcomed Mrs.
Jumana Al Masri from IIWBD, Mrs. Nahla Qubain, National Representative
of D95, Rula Farraj Vice president of D95, Mrs. Alia Alayyan editor of
D95, & the club presidents Mrs. Hanan Ghawi, Mrs. Dina Alawneh, as well
as other esteemed club members and guests.
In her address, Mrs. Asfour emphasized the significance of unity,
gratitude, love, and giving during Ramadan and Mother’s Day,
expressing solidarity with those facing challenges, particularly in
Gaza. She highlighted the strength of motherhood in promoting peace,
understanding, and compassion. The event featured surprises such as gift
draws, and cakes were presented to Mrs. Nuha Asfour for receiving the
Margarette Golding Award and to Mrs. Abeer Dajani for being elected
Chairman of D95 2024-2025. The Iftar was enjoyed in a family-friendly
atmosphere, fostering harmony among all attendees, reflecting this
year’s theme of “shine a Light.”

IW Of El Nile Club – Celebrating the holy month of Ramadan and Egyptian Women’s Day

Celebrating the holy month of Ramadan and Egyptian Women’s Day under the
theme “Shine a Light,” the Innerwheel District 95 Egypt and Jordan, led
by Mrs. Mona Abul Al-Futouh , hosted an Iftar banquet on Saturday, March
16, 2024, at the Sheraton hotel.
“Through the years the Egyptian women struggled to obtain equality and
independence and remarkably succeeded on maintaining commanding position
in important sectors, nationally and internationally.

The event was graced by the presence of El Nile Club members, President
Mrs. Maha Serour, along with presidents and members from other
Innerwheel clubs and the esteemed district board. The celebration
featured captivating folkloric dances and enchanting Ramadan songs. Mrs.
Mona Abul Futuh recognized members with outstanding achievements, while
club presidents awarded the Active Honorary pin to those nominated for
their remarkable accomplishments. Mrs. Maha Serour of the Innerwheel El
Nile Club commended Mrs. Mounira Kafafi, presenting her with the Active
Honorary pin for her exceptional contributions. The club extends warm
congratulations to Mrs. Mounira, acknowledging her dedication to
community service and wishing her continued success in her endeavors.
